Topaz Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Reports say that Jeb Bush is thinking serious of running for President. I can't believe how the Bushes and the Clintons are the primary ones to run the country. If he is anything like this dad and bro. the US will always be in a war of some kind. http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2014/12/16/?entry=7098 Quote

If he is anything like this dad and bro. the US will always be in a war of some kind. http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2014/12/16/?entry=7098 I think Jeb Bush would be an excellent candidate and pretty good president. I'm not sure what you mean about the war stuff. The current president, who is a Nobel Peace Prize winner, has been at war for his entire presidency, even starting new wars. Regardless, Jeb Bush would be a big improvement over the current president. Quote

Obama is protecting the office of presidency for his own reasons, and that will buzz around his legacy along with the drones, but Bush's gang brought that back from the middle ages. I'm just talking about how things might play politically, not making a hard prediction and I'm certainly not moralizing here. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! bush_cheney2004 Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Hillary Clinton wouldn't be a "dove" either. As Bill Clinton's Secretary of State Madeleine Albright once said, ""What's the point of having this superb military that you're always talking about if we can't use it?" bush_cheney2004 Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Regardless, the Bush family will go down as being the ones who brought torture into the American living room. Hardly....Clinton, Nixon, LBJ, etc. brought torture and a lot more into the "American living room". Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
GostHacked Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Are those the only choices? Jeb Bush, or Hillary Clinton? Jeb is a Bush, and I cannot see him being any different from the other two. There has got to be a better alternative than what is presented. All the presidents mentioned so far also started wars along with being at war (in some fashion or another) all while in office. I do not trust anyone in the Bush family. Quote

bush_cheney2004 Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Lol, you think that the CIA hasn't "tortured" anyone before 2003? No....only Bush and Cheney did it...ever ! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Topaz Posted December 16, 2014 Author Report Posted December 16, 2014 I think Cheney and Bush used each other, Cheney and his friends believe in the New World Order and control over the ME and GW, just wanted revenge on Hussein. just the other day Cheney came out and said that Bush did know about the torturing when some said he didn't know until three years later, I don't trust either of them but Cheney is more of a snake-in-the-grass, than GW could ever be. Jeb Bush has skeletons in his closets and they will be brought out by a smart media. Quote
Michael Hardner Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 It came into peoples' living rooms, though.... We're not in the 1950s anymore. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner
Moonlight Graham Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 If another Bush became president I would support an invasion of the US and regime change by an alliance of the rest of the world's countries. GostHacked Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Lol, you think that the CIA hasn't "tortured" anyone before 2003? Before 2003 it was torture. After that it was 'enhanced interrogation'. But it's a good admission to say that the CIA does in fact torture. Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 It came into peoples' living rooms, though.... We're not in the 1950s anymore. Then we made TV shows about it for entertainment....one even starred a Canadian actor to get past the CRTC (Canadian content). Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Argus Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 Bush is apparently a lot smarter than his brother. In any event, I'd prefer him to the current occupant. But only if he doesn't whore himself out to the wack jobs on his party's right. marcus Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 I think Jeb Bush would be an excellent candidate and pretty good president. I am surprised by your statement. A shock and awe. Go Team Bush! You can't do nothing wrong! Quote "What do you think of Western civilization?" Gandhi was asked. "I think it would be a good idea," he said.
sharkman Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) I am surprised by your statement. A shock and awe. Go Team Bush! You can't do nothing wrong! A shock and awe? There is no "a" in front of the english phrase "shock and awe". Unless you meant that you are in shock and awe? What exactly are you trying to say with the shock and awe phrase? On the torture in the living rooms idea, I think during 'Nam brought it into the living rooms with the carpet bombing of civilians. Napalm and burning flesh, anyone? The_Squid Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Jeb Bush slammed Obama on his Cuban policy. Jeb likes sanctions. Jeb Bush works for a bank that has been fined for violating sanctions against Cuba. Not smart. Hypocritical. And typical. Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 If Jeb run's who the hell is gonna fix the election in Florida? Quote
