BD is simply making an observation about you....which you do to others on a continual basis.

Playing the part of the "ridicule-attack troll" has its consequences, as everyone should know by now.

Anyone who's gonna dish it out...should grow some body armour and man up.

Try to stay on topic if you can. I trust that the mods will deal with such antics in short order.

It doesn't surprise me that a submariner would identify somewhat with the Kriegsmarine. They were very brave men fighting for their country in a service that had the highest mortality rate of any in WWII. Their mode of fighting was little different from Bomber Command which had a fatality rate that wasn't much lower. It's unfortunate the bravery of those submariners was wasted on behalf of such a loathsome regime and its loathsome objectives.

The Allies' "racist" symbols of WW2 are far more "offensive" than the Confederate battle flag and what it stood for. It seems that the revisionists refuse to accept that reality.

It's not necessarily racist or bigoted to fly it...

It is if one believes in what the underlying issues around the "States Rights" arguement and not the cotton/economic issue...

I think that may be valid in the US.

However, it's harder to make that argument for Canadian 'good ole boys' flying the confederate flag, especially since they tend to show up at Aboriginal protests: There's definitely a racist intent in that.

Native Americans fought on both the Union and Rebel side of the US Civil War.

Question is why do some drunken yahoo Canadian 'good ole boys' show up at Aboriginal protests flying the rebel flag and using racial slurs?

What do you think the reb flag means to them?

Or at least try to remember what the U.S. Army did to the so called "Plains Indians".....with flag flying. "F Troop" really wasn't a comedy for them.

Nah, dummy, I haven't said you can't use the slaver flag or your pictures of Nazi dreamboats. You're always free to be an ignoramus as others are free to call you such. Like so many others of your ilk, you confuse freedom to do stupid shit with the freedom to do stupid shit without any consequences.

Good question....but I've seen some mainstream flags and symbols at Québécois protests and rallies as well. Are they bad too ?

Here's an example of a Confederate Rebel Flag, jacee.

Yes, indeed. Folks like to think they're above all that as they buy and sell native land.

Only revisionists here at those trying to divorce the rebel battle flag from its (much deserved) historical association with slavery.

As for the unnamed racist symbols of WW2: what's that got to do with anything? Please stay on topic.
