  1. http://www.rulen.com/myths/ This might help some of you. And it is all true because I researched it myself to see if it was. Low and behold it was. But so many more myths aren't posted on this sight.
  2. And it was Lincoln who signed a bill to have African slaves sent back to Africa. During the time of sending them back many ship captains became greedy by dropping then off of islands such as Jamaica to make a long trip short and make more money. Hence all the blacks on the islands. Does that make Honest Abe racist? The government has tried to distort history far too much and has accomplished in many ways.
  3. Well actually the Nazi symbolcame out of Tibet which has and had nothing to do with Germans that is with exception on how the Nazi's used it. Therefore how might someone say nothing good was ever associated with it. But most only see the one side and are either blind or oblivious with the other side. And with the confederate flag what was bad? After all the war wasn't about slavery as many believe but was about freedom out of the constitution on industrial trade which started in South Carolina. Just like today many are fighting the government on constitutional rights that they want to take away or just do what they want regardless of what the constitution says.
  4. [quote name="Remiel" post="933347" The Nazi flag, on the other hand, has absolutely nothing good associated with it, and the Confederacy just did not last long enough for its flag to come to define much other than the bad. Well actually the Nazi symbol came out of Tibet which has and had nothing to do with Germans that is with exception on how the Nazi's used it. Therefore how might someone say nothing good was ever associated with it. But most only see the one side and are either blind or oblivious with the other side. 5. I know I ask a lot of questions but I love learning and finding out the ways culteralism. I'm just wondering where you are from? You seem very iknowledgeable on Southern States and very intelligent.
  6. I do believe kids these days are far weaker than those 50 years ago. We can blame parents for keeping their kids too close and never weaning them. But we can also blame drugs, gangs, and any other mischief conduct. Then again we can blame parents of those gangs and drug dealers for not being strict enough. The question isn't who to blame but rather we should all blame ourselves. It's about setting examples to the younger generations to come.
  7. I thank you for your input of my reply to another user however it really didn't answer my question to her because of how she said it. Being from the South myself I do have knowledge of its real and true symbolism. The other user I believe made his/her statement that the symbolism and historical context of flag were of something degrading. I was merely asking what symbolism and historical context should be over looked. Again thank you for your reply!
  8. As we all know there was conflict between the south and north in America that caused The Civil War. 150 years later many people across America still fly the Confederate flag today. The topic here is it racist to fly the flag?
  9. And now days later obama is handing Iran billions of dollars, giving Iran nuclear rights, and lifted sanctions. Now I know obama didn't all this on his own however it has been in America's best interests to help protect Israel since it's rise. Now obama is committing treason by supporting an enemy nation whom has threatened an allie with nuclear force for over a decade. Insidious is what Iran has in mind. Iran has no intentions of joining the rest of the world as a civilized nation. But we'll soon see once again.
