Diplomats and their pouches are a no go too!

A reliable source tells me that diplomats do get patted down at airports sometimes. One flying into Pearson got pretty miffed about it too.

Others have spent time in the cooler for just this kind of thing.

Going into the cooler for classifying the TSA issue as one that's so important to the likes of Ventura and Alex Jones ? You know that it's true. Hopefully, you also know that these men are sideshow carnys who make a good living by preaching that the world is ending because of a shadowy unseen force of Royals, Bushes, goats and gnomes among others.

I'm not saying you're a ridiculous person. You can follow whomever you want. But the issue sure as shootin' isn't worth it for most people to spend time on.

Quite the insult to the general population calling them sheep.

If one subscribes to the use as derogatory, then fine.

However in the context of my use, ie all the people lining up to get through security it is not derogatory

You also have a difference in how the queen is treated abroad and how the queen treats dignitaries from around the world then they visit her in the UK. Obama goes to the UK and has to bow to HER. And when the queen comes to the US, Obama still has to bow to her. Protocols for interaction with the Queen are the same everywhere no matter where she is. Social graces my ass.

Americans dont bow to other leaders as a matter of history although I understand some do/did. See Olympics this past summer.

All titles come with perks. Big deal

Depends on the status of the diplomat, evidently; you won't find the POTUS getting patted down - but at least the POTUS needs a passport.

The Queen doesn't have a passport. It would be rather redundant.

Redundant, how?

The passports are issued in her name, with her authority. Also, she's a citizen of the commonwealth realms, and not the UK.

The inside cover of my passport says:

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada requests, in the name of Her Majesty the Queen, all those whom it may concern to allow the bearer to pass freely without let or hindrance and to afford the bearer assistance and protection as may be necessary.

So let the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UK, and the queen herself, request of all those whom it may concern to allow the queen to pass freely without let of hindrance and to afford the queen assistance and protection as may be necessary. She's not queen of the world, and most definitely not queen of the U.S. Let her request that she be allowed entry same as anyone else.

Well, I would assume she could do that in person, since she apparently has the authority to do so.

She's not queen of the world, and most definitely not queen of the U.S. Let her request that she be allowed entry same as anyone else.

In her opening speech to parliament, she lays out most travel placns and they get approved on the spot, Details as to passage get worked out behnind the scenes, same as your Pres, our PM and most other heads of state.

Obama travels on a black covered diplomatic passport which he doesnt get stamped like the rest of the sheep (you and I wink.png )

Suffice to say, the closer to the top, the better the perks.

Speak for yourself....I have traveled to many nations and didn't need no black covered passport, just a big black submarine! biggrin.png

Obama travels with a passport - and he is as close to the top as the queen. :)

Does Harper travel on a red passport, or a green one? I'm having trouble finding that out. I know the GG travels on a red one.

You missed the point.

My post was " So instead of dealing with the subject at hand, you instead use a tactic many others here have done specifically against me, and that is to bring Jones ect into the conversation in an attempt to marginalize the issue being discussed. Others have spent time in the cooler for just this kind of thing."

You know that it's true. Hopefully, you also know that these men are sideshow carnys who make a good living by preaching that the world is ending because of a shadowy unseen force of Royals, Bushes, goats and gnomes among others.

The thing is I never bring Jones into a conversation here unless someone else starts it, as you did here. I can use various other sources even from the likes of CNN and Fox to make my point without even talking about Jones. Which I have done on many many threads here. And I do not link any articles from any of Jones' websites.

I'm not saying you're a ridiculous person. You can follow whomever you want. But the issue sure as shootin' isn't worth it for most people to spend time on.

Right, I know things like Honey Boo Boo are more important than executive orders and such allowing the TSA to violate the 4th amendment. Unreasonable search and seizures (correct spelling?). Marginalization of the constitution through executive orders is not much of a concern right?

But wow, I mention TSA in this thread once, and look at the attention it gets. It may not be important to you, but it is very important to a lot of people who have been effected by it. The TSA is part of Homeland Security, and we do know that they are an upfront and upstanding entity right?

And if it's not that important to you, you can simply not waste your time to reply to that post.

I don't see many posts on here about Honey Boo Boo.

It gets attention, but not because of the issue.

I have posted about Government information and the Sunlight Foundation - dull topics which get little response. It's important stuff, IMO, but people aren't interested in it. TSA searches are unimportant issues that get a lot of attention because they have these carnival-barker types promoting them as being important.

I would like to not reply on this topic anymore, and as long as you don't reply to this post with a question or something that begs response, I will take that tack.

Yes he does, a black diplomat one.

She doesnt carry one.

Allthough she does like everyone else get a Visa for certain places. Same as other heads of state

There we go again, attacking the messenger and not the message itself. But at least we both agree that some issues are not as important to others as they are to you.

I've seen this before. I would not like to reply, but I will anyways.
