No, I have had that.

I've copied my response and closed out the page, then re-opened it, pasted in the response and tried again, and it works.

I tried that too; it seems to work.

OTOH, this shouldn't be a problem.

Me too. I wish it weren't the case, but it's not a big problem.

A great deal of changes were made to the database yesterday, which might have something to do with the slow response.

If you continue to experience this issues, update this thread and I will investigate further.

I lost a post because of this issue. Irritating.

Sometimes, if I click on the flickering window, it ends and completes. This time, I clicked but it still hanged so I back clicked and lost the post. BTW, I use IE9.

Just to put it out there, I haven't had any problems using Google Chrome.

I keep losing posts after a delayed period of 'saving'. They just disappear. It's so annoying!

As soon as it starts to hang, copy the whole post, click on another site, then click on the forum again. Paste your post in the box and post it as usual. That works for me.

I can look into this issue, but i would strongly encourage you to try Chrome or FireFox - both are, in my opinion, superior browsers to IE. Even Safari is pretty good.

It's sporadic, so I wouldn't waste any time on my behalf. Even if I didn't get a new browser, it's not causing me any grief. I don't speak for the others, of course.

I'm having this same issue and have had it consistently ever since the update, and experience it about 80%-90% of the time I try to post, especially when I use the "quote" button and quick-reply window. I must copy/paste and reload the reply and then that works 100% of the time.

I use IE 9, latest release. I need to use this browser because of other websites I use. I've also tried clearing all my browser cache and it doesn't seem to help.

It's really a problem for me too.

And when I try to drag and copy a segment from the quoted post I'm responding to, it skips to the top of the page!

Probably for the best, you keep spamming the same thing in every post in a particular thread - I'm sure it's against the forum rules somewhere.

Why are you dragging and copying anything? Are you not using the MultiQuote functionality of the forums?

No. I guess I'll have to try to get the hang of using the multiquote. Thanks for reminding me of that.
