Ahh yes .. is it Disney World in Florida. Either one sounds good to me. But not Euro-Disney.

Dr. Frink kneels over the inert body of a robot Scratchy.

Frink: Man, if this is happening here, I'd hate to think of what's

happening in Euro Itchy and Scratchy Land, n-hey.

[meanwhile in France: shot of empty parking lot in said Euro-park]

Booth man: [French accent] Hello? Itchy and Scratchy Land open for

business. Who are you to resist it, huh?

Come on. My last paycheck bounced. My children need wine.

There's a huge difference between Disneyland and Disney World, but since you've never been to either,

I'm sure either one would sound good to you. ;)

For the record, if you ever have the chance/a choice, pick Disney World; and of course you'd have the benefit of all those Canadian Snowbirds, making you feel right at home. :P

See now that's funny!!! It's been a while since I've been to an amusement park.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread with ......

TALLAHASSEE, Florida - Did you hear about the giant Lego man that washed up on Siesta Key beach? What about the man who walked into a bar, ordered a beer and disappeared for 30 minutes to rob a bank, only to return and finish his drink? Or how about the puzzling story of the baby grand piano that showed up on a sandbar near Miami?

That's Florida, where weird is an everyday event.

Surprised no one has raised the Trayvon Martin murder in this thread yet.

So here it is: Cartoon

Commentary:

By now everyone is familiar with Trayvon Martin and his murder. Armed with Skittles and iced tea and wearing a hoodie, the black teen was summarily executed for suspiciously existing in a predominantly white neighborhood. The only thing unusual about this situation is that it was carried out by a wannabe cop instead of real ones, who have murdered black men for decades for crimes such as pulling out wallets or being handcuffed helplessly on the ground.

Remember: guns don't kill people; wearing hoodies does.

Oh goodie...this reminds me of tazing unarmed Polish men to death at airports. No way a murder charge sticks....maybe voluntary manslaughter.

Of course a murder charge won't stick - thanks to the "stand your ground law."

Florida really is nuts.

No, if somebody was (allegedly) assaulting you, most reasonable people in any state would support the right to self defense.

Sure, a gun, and a "stand your ground law," is no more than adequate self defence against skittles and iced tea.

But the hoodie! The hoodie!

Oh, no, for the love of Gawd, a black kid in a hoodie.

Unabomber wore a "hoodie" too...where was his popular support? Don't "white people" in hoodies deserve the same maniacal support?

Guns are protected in the US Constitution, not hoodies.

Not sure what happened here but anytime a white man kills a black man in the US things get out of control

Not really....more black males are killed by other black males than whites.

Is it bad of me that I don't care that much about racial killings? I wouldn't care if it was a white on black hate crime/murder.

Murder is murder. Its all BS

Don't ban me bro. Oh behave, I'll behave. I'll be a good little boy.

This case clearly wasn't murder, no matter what happened. Manslaughter tops, and it's beginning to look like Zimmerman has a very good case with witnesses.

"Trayvon Martin decked the Neighborhood Watch volunteer ... climbed on top of [him] and slammed his head into the sidewalk several times, leaving him bloody and battered."

Should be pretty easy for the police to release the evidence pictures of the bloody and battered Zimmerman, that would surely shut every one up. When do you think they'll release those photos?

I think this case is different.

There's a 911 call that shows Zimmerman was in no danger and he followed Martin.

It also highlights a law in Florida where you can shoot people if you "feel threatened" He still hasn't been charged

And US Conservatives have made things worse by making the fact Trayvon was wearing a hoodie a contributing factor. Sorta like the argument that a rape victim had it coming because of what she was wearing.

They've even gone to his alleged Twitter feed to highlight the fact he wasn't a good kid.

Beats me...the state and feds are involved now. Photos are not routinely released for cases of justifiable homicide. People will have to wait for the investigation(s) to complete.

Hmmm.... seems to me if the dead kids twitter, school records etc can be leaked, if there was a picture of the shooter with gashes in his head that would be leaked too.

I don't believe those things were private. Especially the Twitter feed.
