Again Bush_Cheney.. You are correct. Funny how many things we see eye to eye, but yet when it comes to your own incompitent leader, you follow blindly. I did not vote for Harper, and never would have. I would love to see him out of office as well. You try to rattle chains, but they end up being your own it seems.

Hey ScottSA http://www.debunking911.com/pull.htm One of those half truths. We have some options here as to what Larry Silverstein really ment when he said 'pull'. They pulled the building with demolitions. OR They pulled the building away from another with cables (like they did with Building#6) OR they pulled the firefighters out of Building 7. That quote from Silverstein shows up in a PBS documentary on 9/11 and the tower collapse. They should have known at that time that he meant the Firefighters, but that was never mentioned in that documentary, and only cleared up with these debunking 9/11 sites. But there it is near the middle with many paragraphs explaining the 'pull'. But anyways. It is all meant to confuse us all. I will poke around the site more and take a look at it, they have stuff worth checking out.

It was meant to be "pompous", and ARROGANT too. Perhaps your "help" is needed elsewhere? Are you purposefully trolling? If so, you really need to read this sites guidelines again. One day you will be helped, just like how you are helping the Iraqis right now. Now I know you don't mean it all, I know you really support my side, but you play the Devil's Advocate because well.. it is easier. How can you expect to get support from the crowd with an attitude like that? The Decider does not listen to the people of the United States, so it does not look like much of a democracy/republic with this kind of infintile mentality in the White House. Take George's power away and he will be in the corner crying sucking his thumb huggin his blanket crying for his mommy. And people wonder why the progress is not there with leadership like this, who's approval rating just gets LIMBO LOWER NOW..... Might as well just lay down and call it quits.

I wonder what else was REAL or Imagined.

That's why we didn't ask for your permission. That is a very pompous reply. And will not garner you more support, or respect, in the future. The same pompous approach the Bush Administration has taken towards this so called War on Terror. I supported your claim of the legality of the war in terms of what I posted, and yet you come off with a pompous reply. So you get no further help from me. NOT THAT YOU WANTED OR NEEDED IT. Thanks but, no thanks. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/pompous Here Bush-Cheney, let me put your earplugs back in, and your blindfold back on. Just ignore everything and it will go away.

http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/10/11/iraq.us/ Friday, October 11, 2002 Posted: 12:35 PM EDT (1635 GMT) No WMDs were found. Certainly looks worse to me. If you look at the legality of the war in terms of US policies and procedures, the US Congress and Senate both approved of military action against Iraq. In essence, declaring war on Iraq. With support of the resolutions, it looks like it is all legal. http://thinkprogress.org/iraq-timeline But who cares about actuall laws in this Administration. I don't support the war, never have and never will. because it is legal, certainly does not make it the right thing to do.

Wow! This is amazing....who woulda thunk it? I do recall some guy named Jimmy Carter spouting about oil and his plan to bomb anybody who messed with the supply. You can't use Carter as an example. He supports Cuba. So Buch Cheney... tell me the real reason that Iraq was invaded? If it was for the oil, then you can stop talking about the War on Terror in any thread here on MLW.

Would the BIG-3 pull out of NA
GostHacked replied to Topaz's topic in Canada / United States Relations
The Big 3 cannot pull out and move elsewhere. For one the infrastructure to produce parts and service for these vehicles may not be there. If they pull out, you have everyone at the Big 3 out of a job, and many other companies that supply parts for those cars are gone as well. Mechanics who service those cars are not really needed anymore. If you are not selling them here, who wants to service them? It is the extreme end of things yes, but even if one of the Big-3 went tits up or moved offshore, it will have a huge impact on the economy and workforce as a whole. Let's say Chrysler, the smallest of the 3, went tits up or moved offshore (two things that saved there asses were the K-Car (K for the designation of the body type, I had a Shadow and it was a PL I think) and Lee Iacocca. You have plant closures. Layoffs. People who service these cars would be out of a job. No parts are being made for these cars. Who else wants to risk it? Niche busisness at that point. Selling and making parts at high prices for those now non serviceable cars. With these people out of work, they don't get the money anymore. No money, no food, poverty possibly. So with this batch of new poor people, they cannot put money back into a society for any kind of progression. They go bankrupt, I am out of a job, and cannot afford anything. I have to sell my things to make ends meet. Downgrade or die. Imagine thousands, perhaps millions of people in this same predicament. Also if they made cars that don't suck, and blend in with everything else, I might consider buying a car again. I owned a Ford, owned a Dodge and drove many GMs. But when I look at cars, style is the thing that strikes ANYONE first. Look at the Porche Cayenn, damn ugly, but really a solid vehicle overall. Hyundai at the start had some damn ugly cars, now they have great styling and great warrenties and are making decent cars now. European cars are my personal fave, Saabs stand out the most for me. You get what you pay for in a car most of the time. The more expensive the better the car. The new Honda Civic is a fucking masterpiece of design. A guy at work has the two door coupe and .. damn that car is just... just hot. Simple, clean and little clutter. Not only that, Honda, Toyota have consistantly have had higher resale value than any other car. People want quality in a car. Reliable. They don't want money pits. But cars are money pits any way you look at it. Some have smaller pits though. Back to the topic. So the economy would be in shambles if even any one of them pulled out. We can take this small example http://www.wsws.org/articles/2007/feb2007/chry-f27.shtml and multiply it many times to get a country wide scale effect. No job, no money to buy things, cannot afford health care, doctors loose jobs or move, local businesses are affected, ect ect ect........ -
I sat here and lol'd a good 5 minutes. Best reply of this thread.

I would not mind seeing all religions dying. All of them. It will allow people to think for themselves and live for themselves. I am athiest/agnostic, but not a pusher of my 'religion' .. ahem, views. UK government says they had intel on possible future attacks. Well at least they got this one right. This allows the government to put more security in place. You figure with all the CTC cameras in and around the UK, especially in major centers like London, and a no brainer at the airport. Someone must have seen something with all those cameras in place. Princess Lea to Darth Vader ' The tighter your grip, the more star systems fall through your fingers'. This kind of rings true. Security is so tight there in the UK that even the lamest of terror attacks manage to get through. For the record, this does not fit my predection of a major terror attack happening. Something bigger is around the corner.

There will be some incident where an innocent is killed by one of these air marshalls, and much uproar when there is no accountability for the crime. A US Air Marshal, is just that, a US one. No jurisdiction in Canada. Slippery slope, this can lead to other US operations in Canada, and not have any accountability for them. What would those initiatives be? Kidnapping, rendition and torture?

No the black box thing waws just addressing the black box thing. What I am getting at is there is a consolidation of corporate power that has gone on recently, just like the corporate buildup of the 70's 80's until congress came in and broke up all the companies. More people with hand in the influcencian pie. More people, the less of a voice you have, compared to before when you owned all the companies. Now it is getting that way again, companies are merging and becomming more monopolistic again. The control is now back to a few instead of the many. More power again for those individuals, more influence on the corporation, but also on government through lobbyists. 9/11 covered something else up other than government complicity in the whole event, it also had to do with those that have the large corporate monopolistic control over things as well. Power is where it is at. Money has the power to influence the government. Maybe it was something by large corporations to bribe the government in a way. Because of all the scandals with companies like Enron (the only game in town in California after deregulation and became a nightmare for residents with rolling blackouts while the company made money hand over fist in it) WTC was home to many government entities. Securities and Exchanges, CIA, Secret Service, Justice Department and other investigative branches had offices at WTC site. Could be that corporate america is the one behind this but blackmailed the government into doing the bidding for them. So the investigations would just disappear. There was more companies than just Enron that were being investigated. So a corrupt corporate america blackmailing the government to make it all go away. WTC was also the financial center of the United States. So it is like the US had all the eggs in one basket when this shit went down. Not very smart of them, is it. I am done with bombs and planes. We need to look at some history and compare it with the day on 9/11 and how things have gone since. This will get a clearer picture than 140 pages of 'yeah but thermite, bombs, planes, no one can do it ect ect' ..... Start looking into the why of 9/11.

Like what ? You don't think what I say about the banks is true ? It's not that at all really. To me after about a year and a bit of looking into all of this and the bigger picture in which 9/11 was just a small part of. You can talk about the thermodynamicalphysics of the buildings all you want, but if you are not looking at the bigger picture and subdue the ADD tendancies for a moment it may help you with understanding the grand scheme of things. MY PROBLEM with Polynewbie and his like is they rehash the bombs thing over and over but not give any real context to the possible of 'why' there were bombs in the building. Look Polynewbie, I agree with you, but if youi want to get people to understand the WHY of it all, you need to move onto the bigger picture of it all. I will say the bankers along with elements of the government that all have large ties to main stream media (bear with me here) have something to do with it. WTC was a 'gold mine' if you will, of financial institutions (banks, investor groups, ect), government offices, well I will let this site speak for itself on the tenants of WTC. http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2001/trade.center/tenants1.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_World_Trade_Center_tenants follow the links for the other buildings. Now I know wikipedia is now considered as sketchy as for it's accuracy but this simplifies the search, and well, I guess there is no secret of who was tennants. Even the Secret Service had some offices there. Strategicaly that place would be a #1 hotspot for a possible terror attack. But not from the point of view most are used to. If it was true terrorism, would you not think that maybe a bridge, or mall or something against a civilian place? Something in the water system? Airborne contaminate. Messing with the food supply something along that nature. A work office seems possible for a terror attack. So let's begin shall we? Years ago back in the 80's there was some scandals involving some really big companies. Something was done in the government to break up large monopolistic companies and tried to create a more competative market for everyone buy giving more people a small chunk of the pie. Some of those bankers would have lost out big time. (The military industrial complex fits into this as well, for some defence contractors would need investors in order to create new military hardware and applications, investors mean large banking/financial institutions)..... So now with bankers having a smaller chunk of the pie they would also have less say in said company they are a shareholder of. Many hands in the pot tends to not be good for business in that sense. ......... So fine, it was done, large companies were chopped up. Regan, Bush, Clinton, Bush Jr. Sept 11 2001, happens. ....... I suspect some shady deals were done here and there, and it end up creating a smaller band of people with something more in mind, they conspired together to influence the government by supporting Democrats as well as Republicans (Bankers know that they need to diversify their portfolio if they want to have the best turn around) You can also put a good bet on those bankers having a good say in what goes on in the think tanks they decide to invest in. Think Tanks only exist to act as lobbyists for the coporations that the bankers control anyways. I would hope that the tenants of the World Trade Center complex would have offsite and even possible off continent servers to store critical information. Anyone in IT understands that. If not many records would have been lost. Any wrong doings would have basicly been erased. Private, public and government records could have simply vanished. Not only that knowledge stored in some brains are permanently gone as well. Knowledge that could have shown the bankers involvement. I need to mention the attack on the Pentagon here now too. Bankers would have a lot of pull in the Pentagon, since the position of Secretary of Defence is a civilian not military position. I would guess there are many civilains holding imporant positions in the Pentagon. Military Industrian Complex. Money has been pouring into the Pentagon for upgrades and improvements. Fast foward to today. Have you seen corporations today? They are getting monopolistic again. Not only that, the bankers have gotten away with basicly hijacking the economy of the United States on that fatefull day. They have the most to gain from this than anyone. With that control of money you can control government on any scale. That includes policies regarding how corporations function, the environment, and even foriegn policy. They also can control what information gets to you, the person sitting in that chair reading this right now. They can control the news outlets to say what they want to say. Take a look at the news that is delivered to you these days. Notice that the names of reporters are going away to be replaced by 'some news source entity' always by some annonymous source. Government spending is out of control now as well. Guess who's cash is being spent or let's say reinvested into the private corporations in junction with an ever growing accelerating military industrial complex. Who is making the money off the war? In a way this shows to me that the Iraq War is proof that 9/11 was an inside job. But then again, some guy in a freaking cave and a walking stick managed to bribe some dudes, gave them BOX CUTTERS and managed to hijack planes and struck at the financial heart core of the United States..... all because they simply hate us? This is my view on the 'why' of 9/11. And go ahead and shoot holes in it. It is just a theory, so do not take it as a fact of what happened. That is something many of you do, and I won't tolerate it for my post. I have a theory on why the blacc boxes were not recovered from the WTC site, and why (not sure if anyone tried) to read information off the hard drives that could have been found in the rubble. I know shock is not good for hard drives, for I have killed a few by dropping them, but the platters can be taken out and read in a clean room ect. One nice large electromagnetic pulse would have taken care of that. Sure that would affect more than whatever was in the buildings at the time. Surrounding buildings and other electronic gear would have been useless after that fact. So this to me is a cover up of wrong doing by large companies, in coheasion with the judicial system which influences government. They tried to hide the mistakes by another mistake. More on those black boxes. http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/inves...ons/q0302.shtml They use Flgiht 93 for picture examples. Now it may be near impossible to find the black boxes from the planes that hit the WTC 1 and 2, after the inferno, collapse, then smoldering crater for months afterward. Even those conditions are way above what is required for these black boxes. Question for you all. How does that smoldering crater keep that hot for that long after the crash?? Even during cleanup a month after the attack, the site was still putting out lots of smoke. But we have not really seen the pics of the 'molten core' in the MSM. Anyways, how about my theory?

Harper's Comment on Afghanistan: Out in Feb 2009?
GostHacked replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Weaponeer Got any proof of that? I would like to see pics and progress from Afghanistan. Where are they then? I recall my Uncle was there for a few months back in 2004-5, He said all he saw were tents. That is what his pictures showed as well. This was Kandahar. Might be different now, but let's see those cranes in action.!! -
Senate - Spanking is child abuse
GostHacked replied to cowtown's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
People who are against spanking generally don't have kids. Any parent knows that there are time when all the reasoning in the world won't stop little Johnny. A crack on the arse does nothing more than focus his attention on the error of his ways. Some senators would benefit from a sharp clack on the arse from time to time too. The spank is one great focuser. And I agree. My dad gave me a few good whacks when I was a kid. It's a process of learning to think before you act. The spank, starts the think. -
To Be Or Not To Be (Executive)
GostHacked replied to Remiel's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
More on this from CNN. A report featuring Al Waxman. http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/06/22/che...ents/index.html HAHAH, I am sure asking Alberto 'I don't recall/remember' Gonzales is not the answer or the person to answer those questions. He was a bad choice at the start, and has proven to be the bad choice. This might give some insight to how things have been run for the last 7 years of this Administration's tennure. Cheney has a larger staff than Bush does, first time in US history that this has happened. It is like there are two Presidents in the White House and both are calling the shots. Actually it would seem that Cheney has been calling the shots all this time. Bush is just a spokesperson. Idiot, loudmouth up front, evil quite man in the back. -
Suicide Bomb Teams Sent to U.S., Europe
GostHacked replied to scribblet's topic in The Rest of the World
Name one person here who supports suicide bombers. O.K. thx!Now answer this: Are you blaming the phenomena of suicide bombing on the US and Israel? I doubt any single person posting on this board supports suicide bombings. One good thing about a suicide bomber is that they can only do the job once. If they were not doing suicide bombings, they would be doing something else. No matter the reaction to the action, we would still be talking about it in the same fashion. Who else can we blame it on? I guess according to Bush_Cheney, Canada as well. Possibly, France, Germany, Spain .... oh I forgot one more... Poland. With the overt presence of US troops around the world, and with the attitude of bringing the fight to them, (who brought who the fight first??? ahh forget it..right?) 'Bring it on' et al, it would be idiotic to blame it on Jamaica??? As for Israel...... my views on that are known here. But I don't think suicide bombing them is the answer either. -
Suicide Bomb Teams Sent to U.S., Europe
GostHacked replied to scribblet's topic in The Rest of the World
Are you really going to believe that a bunch of even highly armed terrorists are going to make an assault on a fully loaded Military installation?? Stacked with trained personelle and the weapons to match? Come on. This is the most rediculous plot someone could come up with. Oh here, I'll go to Best Buy to copy me Jihad movie for the bros back home. Not biting. -
To Be Or Not To Be (Executive)
GostHacked replied to Remiel's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Just finished watching Olbermann's bit over on Crooks and Liars. It is quite disturbing that it is probably some of the executive orders that have gone through that makes themselves out of the loop and above the law and cannot be investigated. Does this smell like a democracy here at all?? Here Bush-Cheney, let ME get it in for you. Unquote : Yeah, look at your own Prime Minister that has more power than that. yada yada yada. The land of the free. -
Any group who staged such a hoax would have to be pretty intelligent. Intelligent people would not risk everything on a completely convoluted plot similar to what we saw on 9/11. Intelligent people with any experience planning projects would have minimized the number of variables and the number of people involved. This means they would have limited the attack to one or two planes and they would not have bothered with risking discovery by planting explosives in three buildings. Anyone with the ability to plant explosives in building undetected would not need to blow up buildings to destroy evidence. They would have many other more reliable ways to accomplish the same thing. If you opened your mind you would realize how completely irrational the thruthie theories are. Well that is just it. They could all be playing dumb but being very intelligent and knowing that, they can dupe the most of you without even really trying. And it may not even be the Bush Administration that did it, could have been some secret elements in the government and the military. Who knows. Speculation on my part yes indeed. Also if you compartmentalize the whole scheme then you don't need everyone to know everything. Only a few key people would know. But again, not like it holds any water with any of you out there. And my mind is open. More open than most. I am really surprised some of you are still responding to this thread. After 130 pages plus. Call me a truthie whatever you want. Here is a list of the stuff that is really crazy Stuff that is way out there about 9/11 (and I discard it as bullshit along with most of the 9/11 Commission report. -Aliens did it. -Teh Joos did it. -All the planes were holograms. What I think is plausible (plausible not fact, but whatever right?) is that the planes could have been a distraction from whatever went on at the bottom of the towers. There are some good reports of bombs in the basement of the building. I have for the most part, gone away from the building was wired with explosives, to, the planes were loaded with explosives. That would create enough damage on WTC 1 and 2 for them to fall like they did. Fire I think had only a small part to do with it. Having a plane loaded with explosives can very much plow through the building and take out some of the major support box columns that contained the stairs, elevators, electric, gas, AC lines. Making the building weak and then the collapse happens. I know those of you who love the official version will not even give this a moment of thought, and will toss it out the door along with the other 130 pages of stuff on here.
-
American interests. Not the USA itself. There are attacks on American Interests since 9/11 as well. So we should not be so quick to discount those facts either. And if you have a President that just plays dumb, and he is very good at it, then you can pull off the big one. Could be part of the plan to be the most incompetent Administration ever, so no one would ever suspect that they had their hands in the plot. Not like you will believe anything I say. But there it is for what it is worth to you.
-
This is the whole crux of this argument. And you summed it up just nicely.
