Looks like Rona Ambrose went to the Mike Duffy school of expense claim filing.

Got it, sorry. You did say that in your opening. My mind was on the recent events. My bad.

Remember kids, a bunch of "illiterate third-world goat herders," saved the texts of Aristotle by translating them to Arabic. If not for them, the development of Western philosophy would have been very different.

I think CC is claiming that history is more complicated than some let on.

BS

Was the Rediscovery not dependent on Arabic translations of the texts? If I'm going to play your broken logic game, DOP, this is the part where I claim you're denying that the texts were convert to and from Arabic in the Rediscovery. You're "denying" any of that happened.
You're not. You're just bringing up something irrelevant from hundreds of years prior because Muslims are bad. We can't talk about the good things that have come from them. They bur...

Kimmy is/was the best poster here. If she's not posting because of the moderator thing she should quit the moderator thing.

She suspended herself for thread drift.

She's a "forum facilitator." MH posted as forum facilitator.

Rona Ambrose says Justin Trudeau should listen to China about pipelines. I wonder if she's aware of how much her base hates China.

He admires them so much Rona Ambrose is pleading with him to listen to them.

JT may admire China, but Rona Ambrose takes orders from them.

The mainstream media is out to destroy Donald Trump by printing his own statements verbatim, and showing videos of his campaign speeches and interviews.

A pathetic legacy would have at least been a legacy.

NO i meant the evil things, like taking the veterans to court for example.

I wonder why Argus didn't tell us about the guy who tortured his wife's boss a few months ago. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3601477/Grisly-details-trial-fired-lawyer-s-husband-attacked-ex-boss.html

I think it depends on the type of business and what one calls "rich". I also don't think that stats factor in the human element.
-
And surely the self avowed communists should get to decide who the 'rich' are.

Trump has the best people. That's why Michele Bachmann is now his foreign policy advisor.

Journalists asking hard hitting questions about selfies.

Prime ministers taking selfies, all the time, might lead to questions about selfies. It's the circle of frivolous life.

But I do agree, they should be asking about the huge lies they told in order to vilify the other guys and get elected, UNDRIP for example. Come to think of it, why aren't the local sycophants concerned about that lie? Anything for power, if it 'good for them'

Welcome to the society we live in now. Everyone has a camera in their pocket and people treat politicians like celebrities.

Firing squad is a little old fashioned. I'm sure prison would be more likely.

You're right Hal. Then there's the cost of the bullet. Who would pay for that.

Remember that time Trump said the Geneva Conventions were a problem? Was that sarcasm too? http://www.politico.com/blogs/2016-gop-primary-live-updates-and-results/2016/03/donald-trump-geneva-conventions-221394

Trump could murder someone with his bare hands on live TV and there's idiots here who would defend him still.

Donald Trump: I meant that Obama founded ISIS literally.

Obama certainly armed ISIS (or ISIL) well enough.

*facepalm*

facepalm is right!
Did Trump say Obama armed them?

Trump calling on Americans to excersize their Second Amendment Rights to stop Hillary is a new low. This has to be a farce set up between the Clintons and Trump to hand her the Oval Office.

I hate Hillary. You're just changing the channel because you can't admit that Trump calling for Hillary to be assassinated is a non-partisan issue. How you two can still support him is beyond me. It shows that you care more about teams, than having any sort of principles.
-
OK Einstein, please show me where I have ever supported Trump. If you equate pointing out the absurdity of the left's outrageous "Clinton assassination" claim, with "supporting Trump", then you are even more simple than I thought. You're probably the most partisan person on this message board, so to be calling someone else partisan is actually pretty comical.
-
Again, Republicans have criticized him for it as well but you keep talking about your favourite strawman, "the left."

Republican convention chants about locking up their political opponent. The GOP has officially entered stepped into the realm of Banana Republics.

A certain MLW'er whose name sort of rhymes with carcass just threw his drink at his monitor screaming "BUT THEY DIDN't!!!"

Yet in Canada it's the left that hates and despises those who disagree with them.

Chances are that Hillary will be the next president of the USA. There will be a large number of people who are now programmed to think she is a criminal. This is not good for the future of the Republic.

Rationalize away however you want.
-
Par for the course for the LPC. They are far more focussed on saying what they think people want to hear in a campaign, than they are actually following through on the policy.
Mincome is a lot like national daycare in that politically, you need to be able to convince a certain segment of the population that it's still to come, but to keep support from another equally important segment it's also very important not to actually ever do it.
-
This isn't a vote to implement it. It was a vote on a feasibility study. They Liberals wouldn't even do that, despite their promises.
