Sanctions on both ends are only going to make Canadian consumers pay more for that product, with all those funds going to the government of China ….It's a win, win for them... we could not compete in a trade war with China...we also have to keep in mind most of our own Canadian companies have our manufacturing in China,,,to take advantage of the cheap labor...it would be another chip they "China" could hold over us, by simply kicking them out or shutting them down...That being said we should have placed sanctions on the equal value just to save face, and top show them we are willing to sacrifice some to achieve our goals.

Breaking: Trudeau officially broke the law

Your right we are lucky to live in a nation where one can vote for whom ever and for what ever reason he or she wishes. And your 100 % right what I think does not matter one rats ass in the grand scheme of things....I was just trying to figure out why ? That was not my point, I was asking you how you could vote for someone who has deceived you and the rest of the country, for no other reason than he could, and he continued to do it for no other reason than he could... Your explanation was they all do it, so it is OK. Does Justin actions outrage me, outrage is to strong a word, I feel disappointed in his leadership, even though he is a liberal he is still the leader of our nation, and should be conducting himself as one, We should have higher standards for the men and women that take office, I see some of those qualities in Wilson Raybould and Philpott stepping down in protest for Justins actions that were not right........ he allowed men under his command to take the fall for his actions, his responsibilities, and punished them by accepting their resignations....….then if that was not enough he brought back one of the key players, his 2 minutes in the penalty box was enough to atone for their crimes. ...What I don't get is why this does not disturb you, it is like this happens every day...when it does not. I'm not voting for liberal or Conservative, I'm voting for the platform that I think is best for me, and my families future. I hope you take this vote seriously and do what is best for you and your family... -
Breaking: Trudeau officially broke the law
Army Guy replied to QuebecOverCanada's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
So arrogance , not the brightest, and stubborn … not the qualities I look for in a PM when voting, This is what we have been discussing.....your voting for a party and philosophy, and don't care about the any of the platforms content.. or the canidate -
While violence is never permitted under the law, it can be the expected response depending on what is said....you and your wife are having dinner, someone walks up to your wife and says nice boobs mind if I have a look...and if this was not enough that person continues to berate you and your wife...There is going to be a reaction. Most times it is going to be physical....

Breaking: Trudeau officially broke the law
Army Guy replied to QuebecOverCanada's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The man has come out our National media and Lied, many times, over and over again. Not only about SNC, but his dismissal of 2 of his MP's, how he snuck in the last part of the bill for SNC dismissal crimes. To me it shows a lack of character, leadership, integrity, honesty, you know things we are looking for in a person, let alone our PM....he will not own his mistakes, he pushes blame on Harper for 99 % of his problems, once again showing his lack of leadership, integrity etc... To make it worse he promised all of us he was going to do politics differently, he was going to be honest , transparent , show true leadership, and conduct himself with the highest standards...or atleast higher than harpers.... Thats not partisanship...thats being a good judge of character.... Here is what we can do, judge a man for his actions that he has done todate...and really Justin has not got a lot of pluses on his side...Scheer is not denying climate change , his plan may not be to your liking but he has not denied it, Nobody that is running is denying it.... I think a lot of people would rather see another candidate as leader of the conservative party...I know I would, Scheer is what has drove me from the Cons side...the platforms are the same thing over and over again...we need change, and we need it now, and it's not liberal or cons....nor is it green... I agree, I think we should be voting for the best platform....end of story... So these are the main points your looking for in a party....point to a party that has come out against any of these things....I can see how your so confused... -

I'm not sure you know whom your going to vote for , your all over the place the only ones your certain your not voting for is Scheer or Bernier...You've spent time slagging both Cons and Justin, who by the way has taken a shit on your door step, lite it on fire, and Now your standing there in ankle deep burning shit and Justin is giving you the finger....And yet he is still on the maybe list....And you talk about partisanship....What does this Justin have to do to change your mind ? -
Don't mistake my question , for any sympathy for these dick heads, .. it was meant to see how far your Christian values go , we both know these are Canadian citizens , who are subjected to Canadian law, in both cases our government has made choices because thats what the people wanted not is it right or wrong...

Would depend on the situation ?. I think Canada has a nation had already made there mind up about the NAZI regime, and saw through the whole accusation they made... BUT again Canada still was very racist towards Jews and decided to show the ugly side of our nature...They also knew or had a good idea that these people would not live to see the next year.... Many things that Canada has done in the past are not worth celebrating... This is one of them .. and is proof that not all of governments decisions are truly the best for the country... Let me put this out there, what do we do when we can not prove that those that traveled to engage in terrorism have broken any laws.....we assume they did but could not prove it in a Canadian court of law.... in this case those that traveled to Iraq and Syria , Do we refuse to let them back into the nation, as we have done ....using some liberal made up excuse "to dangerous to pick them up " knowing that those that hold them captive really do not have a good human rights record, by any standards...and sooner or later they will be forced to deal with them in their way... most likely they will face death. Are we putting ourselves in another we need to apologize event ? ....

I disagree totally, Todays military does not have a lobby group that can make changes on the political front, or for that matter any front...same thing goes for VAC ….It does not have a name like SNC, that can make prime ministers bend to their will. Our military has an unwritten rule that the TAX payer will always be that voice, as we are one and the same. This is where we get our soldiers from....our sons and daughters, make up their rank and file... The tax payers should have a vested interest on every thing military....or one would think....It is the tax payer alone that hold s the power of change, by using the masses to get or demand things done... Just look at that convicted female murder transfer to a healing lodge, once news got out on the street, how long did it take to have her transferred back, I mean the convict did not break any rules by being in a healing lodge, it did not portray a good public image to have her there....it was the public that demanded changes be made, for the only reason they did not like it... ...Why is that ? because politicians normally follow what is popular with the people and give them what they want....Same thing with VAC and how it treats its vets, things will only change when the people band together and voice their opinion and demand changes... DO we really think that any politician would do it on their own, their is no trade off, no votes in it for them... So while I don't entirely blame the tax payers … they do hold a large chunk of the blame...they are the ones that have the power to change everything, and from my stand point don't really care or it is not worth their time ...How we treat our vets, how we fund our military, if they don't do it no one will... Justin did make a few changes for the good , he had those closed VAC offices reopened, he did replace Harpers horrible benefits package, with some thing a lot better, but does not come close to the original benefit package harper destroyed , because it saved Bils from being payed out... It was not until we started receiving combat causalities in Afghanistan that this was even brought to life, shit what are we going to do with all these causalities, the dollar amount is starting to rise quickly....change the benefit, poof problem gone.. make it a one time payment that is limited...… So what it takes now is for soldiers to band together hire a lawyer and take the government to court, just to get a similar payout that is offered by workmen's comp....the only people making any money is the lawyers....

Yes we do have a dept. for lobbying , but Justin is not guilty of lobbying is he, SNC lobby to have laws put on the books that would be beneficial to that company and their predicament with breaking a few laws inter nationally ..Major contributors to Justins liberal party, and Trudeau did just that, he hide that law in another bill so nobody would be any of the wiser or contest it.......once the law was passed, he then used his position to influence his chief justice into seeing that they were given a break under this new law....according to Justin "he is the law" and he is above the law now according to the ethics commissionaire ...Conflict of interest, is against the law, but then again this is not his first time before the ethics commissionaire over other slight of hand issues. -

Courts should be taking ALL extremism seriously, be it right wing, left wing, or crazy terrorism.. This whole topic should not be about color, race , or creed....extremism of any sort should all be hunted down and exterminated...our nations security apparatus should be doing a lot more to ensure we are all safe from wing nuts, terrorist, -

There are millions of Canadians that bought all of that and a lot more.....and are still buying all the shit that comes out of his mouth....You can't fix stupid.... -
I guess we will see in the near future, but I don't see much difference in how Justin rules and they way Scheer is going to rule....

You forgot these options , vote for greens or NDP is a vote for Trudeau, looks like we only have two choices this election, liberals or liberals lites...

Yes perhaps they are some what useful, but even you don't sound convinced ... but do you think as a western nation we can not decide how to act on our health problems, could we not get better source of advice or direction by talking to and sharing info amongst other western nations. What do we get out of this union that we could not or have not already known...Besides most of the western nations pay for and respond to these health crises, Ebola for example...so why pay twice for the same service.... Not that wiki is a good source of info , these sources do check out. Take a stroll down the page , here is some of them... I thought these organizations would be less open to outside political pressures More misuse of funds... this one is my favorite.... https://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/unicef-spending/2008/12/15/id/327113/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Health_Organization

What does Canada get from the UN to start with, that benefits Canada in ant meaningful way ," like the non binding immigration pact" I mean really if our statesmen are as good as you say they can still agree to uphold current UN policies and compacts that benefit our nation, and dump the rest of the baggage that goes with belonging to the UN. Our statesmen and women could bring any of these policies into parliament and make them our own, if need be right. So we don't have a voice in the UN big deal, not like we really have one now, we are just a spectator. Justin is kowtowing to people who think the UN is valid organization....thats what politicians do right kowtow...

I by no means is the subject matter expert on this topic, what I say Is my opinion only....I also want to see Canada remain whole with all it's provinces and territories intact/ together, and if that means giving a few things, or adding a few things to the constitution, then so be it ….lets getter done... but it is not going to be that easy, nothing ever is. But I don't see it the way you do, I see Canada being in the driver seat, when it comes to "most" of the negotiations, things like a land corridor between Atlantic provinces and Ontario, Native American Indians lands will have to be respected or redrawn...these two issues alone are going to be tough for Quebec to swallow...as it will redefine Quebec's borders....and in a lot of cases hard core separatists will have to move or remain Canadians...Not all Quebecor's want to separate...and what happens if they can't sell their land or homes, I add that because when Yugo broke up, many families did not leave their homes, the new land owners did not want their kind on their land, the military was used to remove them through ethic cleansing....not saying this is going to happen, but their is not many separations that went well....and most end in violence....Canada is not immune to this....I mean how would you feel about the federal government deciding your new borders, .... I think the day Quebec separates will be the beginning of the end for Canada, the feds already know this will have a snowball effect, so the feds might not be offering anything that the other provinces don't already have, afraid of what they will loss if it does snowball...Remember Alberta and Saskatchewan also have a taste for separation...and most of them are tired of one thing Quebec's transfer payment...which could be cut to satisfy those provinces....it cuts both ways...and it is not always going to look as good as it sounds on paper.... Ottawa is going to struggle with this entire topic, for sure... I would not want to have to solve this problem...and I definitely don't want the current liberals tackling it... If it is not solved quickly both economies will suffer greatly...our dollar will plummet in value, Atlantic Canada will suffer greatly if their is no corridor between ROC....and normally when things come to a stalemate thats when other options are looked at.. such as use of force, cutting Quebec off of items like currency, freedom of travel, forcing payment for Federal infra structure...of course this works both ways, only Quebec has no military force to enforce any of these options , again this is another area that perhaps France could help....but what is it going to cost, and would they even consider it, not even sure how the US would take this new development.... -
Perhaps you can list a few of these note worthy programs , ones that are not littered with corruption or ones that western nations end up funding in the end because nobody else wants to get involved....No mention of any extortion by the Middle east, or Asia, mother Russia.....

No, he is bang on about his assessment, the greens lack any vision outside the environment and even then their direction is not anywhere in reach right now, with no tech available to replace fossil fuels in the near future...how does she intend to meet her goals, well she is going to do it on the backs of the little guy , as they price fossil fuels out of reach for most Canadians who depend on it...with no chioce but to grin and bear it....In case you guys forgot this is a global problem and Canada is not going to solve it alone.... If you really think that everyone quit smoking because it causes cancer ,your not even close, people quit because they can't pay close to 20 bucks a pack for name brand.....thats why.......Littering is a joke should come down to the local beach one day, see how much shit you can pick up in a few minutes....when was the last time you or anybody you know got a littering fine... Greens are popular because there is very little else to vote for, everyone is tired of liberals and conservatives....and who wants an NDP government....May will be just like the rest if she gets any power...money talks and fossil fuels boys have a lot of it....

Those days have long passed, I think you would be very disappointed at what current state our military is in, how far training standards have slipped, and how few pieces of equipment we do have, and when their is money to operate it.

That would depend on how well the divorce goes, would it not, I mean there are a million things to work out before Quebec actually leaves right...things like currency, government type, policing, military aspects, actual borders , then the St Lawrence sea way, Native Americans, the list goes on....or are we just going to have the vote....and wing it from there....and if for some reason things do not go well in the divorce, maybe the ROC is not going to play nice, I mean as you have said before they have bent Quebec over a table before right.... I can see France offering economical Aid or assistance ,maybe some policing / military assistance, but at what cost, will it cost you some or a lot of your sovereignty in return...I'm thinking it would be good for France to have direct access to the NA market , it would be a great motivator would it not. -
I love this nation as much as anyone can, but I will not forget how this same nation treats it members of DND, or for that matter any security dept....having to sue the government in court to get basic medical benefits / workman comp benefits that every other Canadian already has....why does a double amputee have to prove to the government every year that his legs have not grown back....why do we have to wait 1 year or more to see a mental health expert.....this is not the only case there is thousands out there...And then you stand up and accuse one of it's former members of being nothing more than a dirty treacherous merc because he is bitter of the way Canada and it's citizens have treated him....excuse him for not smiling when you bend him over slap some sand on his ass and tell him , he may feel a little pinch... Your a real classy guy.... Canadian soldiers are asking for the same thing you already have...and yet we are told at ever corner...NO, or my favorite, I pay you , so STFU you knew what you were getting into before you joined up.... What gives you the right to judge anyone, let alone a soldier , because you pay taxes....we all pay taxes...is it because you've served, you hold some elite position some where....do you have holes in your hands and feet, maybe sit on a throne some where...
