DOP, does your wife also patrol the Mayo Clinic parking lot, ever on the alert for Canadian license plates?

Maybe Vice could do a mockumentary on the cohabitation of Waldo and BC2004, once they are freed up from their latest in Shoal Lake.

The sexual tension between those two is compelling.

My family spans the 49th...Canadian...American...no matter.

  2. Who told Keanu Reeves he could act? Why did anyone hire him? Why isn't he selling shoes or something?

Everyone thought he was most righteous when he played Hamlet at the Manitoba Theatre Centre

Reeves does a passable imitation of Harrison Ford in his role in John Wick: expressionless except for the occasional furrowed brow.

But don't blame me, I didn't tell him he could act, must have been somebody else.

  3. Who's more racist, Blacks or Whites or Asians?

Cheating is old as the hills. Today however they use high-tech spy cams and smart watches to enable it but no different than years ago: http://www.macleans.ca/general/the-great-university-cheating-scandal/

  6. Why do I find the notion ISIS are being referred to as 'orcs' amusing?

  7. Why do people think Kim Kardashian is attractive, or even worth hearing about?

Twits like that are a media driven thing. The media needs to be distracted once in a while. Actual news stories take a back seat to their whims all the time.

Same reason people hound after any other celebrity. Same reason we have shows and magazines about celebrities. Theres consumer demand for it.

Maybe she has the same mental health issues as Pam Anderson.

  8. Why is it okay to screen Syrian refugees by gender but not by religion? Don't the same arguments apply as to which group is more dangerous?

It's profiling of a sort, something we don't dare do, unless the liberals decide it's ok. Imagine the conservatives doing this, just imagine the screehing.

Cause discrimination against things people can't control (sex) is okay, but discriminating against things people can control (religion) isn't. That's how morality works in upside down neoprogressive land.

    4. On Guard for Thee

      On Guard for Thee

So you would prefer to discriminate based on religion?

Instead of quibbling over what isn't the point why don't you all tell us how ridiculous you personally feel the removal of this statue is.

They have a right to reverse their decision on whatever grounds they see fit. I have a right to agree, disagree, or not care about their decision and process. I don't think it is news worthy either way. Who cares about statues? At least I don't care.....

Odd for a university named after a prime minister. Maybe because MacDonald was a Tory and Laurier a Liberal. Bet they aren't above receiving federal funding though.

This does prove one thing. Some people are not as evolved as the rest. I do not care what race or religion you are but if you feel it is ok to let somebody die that could be saved. Than I am a better person than you

Is religion or any other false ideas dangerous? Of course. Do we need to pursue universal ethics based in reality and on advancing human well being? Certainly.

Thankfully in the west it seems that Religion is largely just for tradition and the fanatics are in a minority.

Well, I think we've been abandoned on the island by ourselves lately because I haven't seen any moderation in the last week or so (and I wasn't around much for the couple weeks before that).

  14. wonders why he has to do yard work when there are plenty of young, healthy poor people who could be doing it for him.

  15. Would it be against the rules to suggest we could save a pile of cash by simply executing Cody Legebokoff immediately? Would it be wrong to suggest if ever a man was a waste of skin tissue, he's that man?

    1. kimmy

      kimmy

I don't know if he'd be THE man, but he's definitely up there. His explanation for the one girl's death is particularly laughable.

  16. Would like to thank the CBC for slashing so many scenes in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer in order to jam in more commercials. Commercials were why the kids wanted to watch in the first place, after all. Who needed those extra scenes and songs anyway?

    1. The_Squid

      The_Squid

CBC needs increased funding so they can eliminate commercials... Like the bbc.

    2. Shady

      Shady

Tax money should go to important things, like health care. Not eliminating commercials.
