Asking for relief is more accurate than begging for money.

I'm sure that Alberta has paid way more than they ever received in equalization. Alberta has paid $611 Billion in transfer payments from 1961 to 2017 | The Post Millennial
-
No offense, but the Atlantic provinces are heavily subsidized by the "west". You should be eternally grateful for the enormous amount of money that has flowed into your province. How would you feel if it were the other way around and the west was siphoning billions from the Atlantic provinces for decades?

Republican Crooks and Perverts
ironstone replied to BeaverFever's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Do you honestly think that Derrick Chauvin woke up one morning and decided that on that day, he's going to go out and hunt down a black man? If any group is being hunted , it's cops. All that BLM rhetoric and incitement is having deadly results. The Dems idiotic soft on crime policy has got to end. Floyd would likely be alive today if he didn't have so much fentanyl in his system and did not resist. Why do these criminals keep resisting arrest over and over? Are they brainwashed? If I have some kind of interaction with the police, I KNOW IT'S STUPID TO RESIST AND IT WILL END BADLY FOR ME. -
It's sad that much of the hatred of law enforcement by the radical left is based on lies. Cops do not go "hunting" for unarmed blacks and the numbers back this up. This hatred is based on ignorance. The real number of unarmed black people killed by police you can share with your liberal friends (bizpacreview.com) The number of unarmed blacks killed by police is tiny compared to the number of officers killed in the line of duty as shown in the chart above. Democrats are likely just worried about losing votes more than demonizing law enforcement.

This is not surprising coming from Jagmeet Singh. As mentioned above anytime the left get's nervous about any kind of pushback to their agenda they just play the racist card. Jagmeet Singh faces backlash after accusing truckers of white supremacy | The Post Millennial "You disgusting scumbag," said Indian Author Abhijit Iyer-Mitra. "You literally endorsed & supported the perpetrators & ideology of the biggest act of terrorism on Canadian Soil - Air India Flight 182. You’re the worst kind of ethno-religious supremacist there is." I wonder if Jagmeet will want the police to crack down harshly on the protesters? Oh wait, I just remembered that he also hates law enforcement. If there ever was any political leader in Canada that would actually be even worse than Justin Trudeau, it would be Jagmeet Singh.

How's that anger management course going?? As far as your sports analogy goes, in politics they can take legal action even if there is no chance the courts will do anything because people "might get angry". I think everything should be thoroughly investigated right out in the open. Nothing to hide is there? The Investigation Into Wisconsin’s Election Is More Critical Than Ever | MacIver Institute “The practical effect of these massive, privately manipulated election-office funding disparities was to create a ‘shadow’ election system with a built-in structural bias that systematically favored Democratic voters over Republican voters,” Doyle’s analysis concluded. “The massive influx of funds essentially created a high-powered, concierge-like get-out-the-vote effort for Biden that took place inside the election system, rather than attempting to influence it from the outside. “We call this the injection of structural bias into the 2020 election, and our analysis shows it likely generated enough additional votes for Biden to secure an Electoral College victory in 2020.” -

Beaver, I'm still waiting for you to address my point about the fact that Democrats protest virtually every election they lose while Republicans historically have not. You're practically frothing at the mouth because of Trump's claims but you're silent when I correctly point out that the Democrats do it all the time. Have you been equally angry about any past claims of stolen elections made by the Democrats?<<<<My question to you. -
It drives me crazy. If this same amount of people were in the exact same places and were supporting something like Team Canada they would not be shut down by any government. This is not about safety it's about crushing opposing views.

It seems governments from all sides are rallying against the convoy. No surprise. Radical leftists always have a much longer leash to do their thing in a much more disruptive manner. Nova Scotia bans gatherings along highway in support of trucker freedom convoy | True North (tnc.news)

If covid is on the decline around the time of the midterms in theory more people should be doing in person voting and SHOWING ID but the Dems will of course want to keep expanding the much less secure mail in ballot system and ballot harvesting. Who will prevail? Republicans want more secure voting and the Dems clearly want less under the ridiculous excuse of minority voter suppression which is in itself racist. Will the Dems slowly turn the rest of America into feces covered San Francisco? -

Here's another good article from The Federalist outlining the issues with the 2020 election. Why The Wall Street Journal Is Wrong About The 2020 Election (thefederalist.com) "The problem is not ‘mass voter fraud,’ but a privately funded ‘shadow campaign’ for Joe Biden within the formal structure of the election system." -
Fauci Needs To be Fired And Caged
ironstone replied to Nationalist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I'm on the side that would love to see Fauci fired. I heard about Robert Redfield yesterday on the radio stating his opinion on the origin of the "Wuhan Red Death"(Thanks Chris Plante). Redfield is the former head of the CDC. Former CDC Chief Says He Thinks Virus Came From Wuhan Lab (msn.com) So many well educated people with different opinions on the virus but when Fauci get's backing from other scientists that get millions of dollars in grants...from Fauci and the NIH how can that not raise red flags? Plenty of blame to go around, most of it should go to China and the Wuhan virology lab...funded by Fauci.? -

Conspiracy Misinformation Tactics
ironstone replied to Moonbox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I'm talking about the big tech platforms and companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube. Those companies are dominated by progressives at the very top. They do censor opponents and cover up stories that would harm their side. The Hunter Biden laptop story is a great example. Big tech censorship may be mostly corporate but they overwhelmingly donate to left leaning causes. It is of course their right to do so but silencing their opponents makes the field uneven. There is misinformation but there is also omission too. How the Media Lies By Omission - Bing video -
"Discovery of mass graves filled with indigenous children! " is certainly attention grabbing. That was clearly the intent and to play up the white guilt angle in perpetuity. To be clear it was bad how natives were treated back then but time marches on. The vast majority of people today did not play a role in the poor treatment of natives back then.
