  1. I don't agree with all the tactics used by the truckers, blocking roads, blaring horns well into the night, closing borders. I'm not entirely without sympathy to the truckers either. If it were another group doing these same actions, Trudeau might react in a polar opposite way. BLM has used much worse tactics in the US for example and they will not hesitate to use violence as a means to an end, but Trudeau loves BLM. Xi Jinping has got to be smiling now watching all the worldwide civil unrest thanks to unleashing this virus on us. He's the real culprit.
  2. I am using CNN links!? But here goes. CNN Poll: Most Biden detractors say he's done nothing they like since becoming president - CNNPolitics Joe Biden's appproval rating just hit a new low point of his presidency - CNNPolitics You dismiss outright every other source I link to as being illegitimate so these links from CNN might make you uncomfortable. You claims about Biden would have one think that he's doing a fantastic job in his first year as president and things are just coming up roses in every possible way. So what do you make of the above CNN links? In your space are Biden's approval ratings going through the roof? Or will you dismiss the Americans that were polled as ungrateful for Biden's unparalleled record of first year wins?
  3. Your overly dramatic use of boldface and colour does not help you make your point in any way. All you need to do is be reasonable and use better sources for your facts. Right now, at this time, the US is at decades high levels of inflation. Prices for everything have gone up, Americans are getting frustrated and angry. Biden's approval rating is very low and many voters are experiencing voters remorse for having supported Biden. Russia is flexing it's military might against Ukraine. The last time they were this aggressive was when they annexed Crimea during the Obama years, and Obama was not as weak as Biden. China is harassing Taiwan on a daily basis, the most aggressive behavior from them in many years. Never mind the Uyghurs fate. Why are Biden's approval ratings so low now after barely a year? He had vaccines ready and waiting for him when he took office. Why were there more covid deaths under Biden than Trump even when the heavy lifting had been done already regarding vaccines? These are just plain facts, no boldface, no colour or overuse of exclamation points needed.
  4. Biden's policies are increasing demand because his policies are just bad. He created more demand for oil and gas by ...reducing US output and relying more on...Russia and OPEC.? So many things are dependent on transportation which of course depends largely on oil and gas. Naturally it's way more expensive for Americans. I'm fair minded, Trump and the Republicans spent too much as well but just not on things quite as idiotic as Biden.
  5. I don't think even Biden's most enthusiastic supporters can honestly say that this man in any way projects strength. We all get old but Biden is an old man that sounds old. Trump comes across as strong. Putin comes across as strong(but evil). Xi Jinping comes across as strong(really evil).Biden is weak but I concede there are circumstances where he might take bold action, like if the Biden "family" business was threatened. There are millions of dollars flowing from Russia to the Biden family so that's a factor in this Russia/Nato/US showdown.
  6. Chair of Trudeau-funded ‘anti-hate’ network spreads antisemitism hoax to smear Canadian truckers | The Post Millennial More dirty tricks from Trudeau.
  7. It's clear why Putin started his military buildup on the Ukraine border after Trump left office. There is a weakling in the White House now who's family has very lucrative deals with many countries, including Russia. Russia Won't Start a War With Ukraine Out of the Blue. Look For These 8 Warning Signs. (popularmechanics.com) To Stand Up to Russia, Ukraine Should Have These Five Weapons on Its Wishlist (popularmechanics.com) Love Popular Mechanics!
  8. What do you think? Is this HB Lowrey again?? It sure reminds me of him/her with the anger issues and the intolerance for dissent.
  9. If Russia does have a little piss-and economy it's mainly because of many decades of communism/socialism.
  10. Is this your roundabout way of admitting The Great Barrack Obama himself was WRONG about Russia?
  11. Phoenix68 has lost sight of the most important metric to judge the level of success or failure of a president. Namely, how are the citizens doing doing with day to day life? Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Is the cost of living under Joe Biden today comparable to Donald Trump? Lower? Much higher? The honest answer is, much higher. Food, shelter, the cost of heating homes, the cost of transportation. All of these are much higher and only a fool would deny it. Biden is not solely to blame for the problems in the world but he is by no means blameless either. Most regular Americans don't have access to the level of income that the Biden family does. Perhaps the only thing worse than Biden’s socialist economic policies is the elitist, arrogant attitude that accompanies them. 45% of households say that rising prices are causing them economic hardship, including 71% of those making less than $40,000. Biden’s response? To condescendingly tell them to have some “perspective.” Meanwhile, Democrats have the temerity to brag about gas prices going down two cents last week. Remember, that’s after gas prices have shot up by more than a dollar per gallon because Biden is punishing American energy producers. The data confirms Biden is squandering the economic recovery he inherited from President Trump so he can appease the likes of AOC by pursuing a radical political agenda. The good news for Biden is that this is the last jobs report to be released this year. The bad news is that unless he starts reversing his failed policies, Americans can expect more of the same failures going forward.
  12. Biden might also want to thank many of the Republican led states for their help. As terrible as November’s jobs numbers were, Biden is lucky in one regard: they would be even worse if it weren’t for Republicans stepping in to lead where Biden is failing. Ever since the pandemic began, Republican governors have been leading economic recoveries in their states and getting their citizens back to work. 17 of the top 20 states for jobs recovered are led by Republican governors. The top 11 states are all Republican-run. But instead of taking cues from Republican leaders and their proven, conservative policies, Biden is doubling down on his failing agenda.
  13. Joe Biden...greatest President ever??Perhaps in your world he is. Americans have watched helplessly as prices have skyrocketed on everything from gas to groceries on Biden’s watch. As we head into the winter months, Americans are about to endure a brutal stretch where they will have to shell out up to 50% more than in previous years to heat their homes. Inflation is wiping out any wage gains people might be seeing. The Biden administration now concedes that higher prices are here to stay, a complete about-face from their earlier assurances that inflation was only “transitory.” Unaffordable prices are only one component of the economic calamity Biden has created. As Americans do their Christmas shopping they are seeing empty shelves because of Biden’s supply chain crisis. Small businesses that suffered for more than a year under Democrat-led lockdowns are finally starting to recover and are eager to hire again. The problem is that they can’t find any workers. Despite there being more than 10 million job openings there is still a persistent labor shortage because Biden paid people not to work.
  14. Yes President Biden has managed to set 40 year inflation records, exasperate shortages, and help destabilize both the ME and Europe. China, Russia, Iran, North Korea etc are all much happier since Biden took office. Even as a Canadian I would much rather have Trump still in office.
  15. I'm sensing anger again like HB Lowrey, JBander etc. So many links! Do Americans have more money in their pockets at the end of the day? If they are so much better off should not Biden's approval rating be going through the roof now? I'll give you points for Clinton as he understood that the economy really mattered even as he had his hands full with White House interns and others. He was tougher on crime too...
  16. Yes Poilievre is a young career politician but I would say he actually has a more solid grasp on most issues, at least compared to Justin "drink-box water bottle thingy" Trudeau. I don't he was born into this world financially set for life as was Justin Trudeau so hopefully his perspective will be much more realistic on financial matters. I don't know if he can become PM even if he should become leader of the CPC. The knives have already been pulled out by some in the Canadian media.
  17. I seem to recall that one of the many players involved in putting pressure on JWR said that he or she could easily tell friends in the media to write favourable opinions in order to help the Liberals get this deal for SNC. If you give the media hundreds of millions of dollars to keep them afloat it's clear they can be called on as needed to help the Liberal government. In other news, the suspect in the Winnipeg attack on that convoy apparently is an Antifa supporter, no surprise there. The CBC does mention the suspect's name but makes no mention of his ties to Antifa, no surprise there either. Report: Suspect charged in Winnipeg attack on convoy protest revealed to be Antifa radical | The Post Millennial
  18. I have to wonder how many leaders and family members in the West have very lucrative deals with dictatorships which greatly soften their stance with regards to standing up to these countries. How many Hunter Biden's are out there? He is the most blatant example but this is a problem with politicians and family members on all sides. Some leaders, like our own Justin Trudeau just have a soft spot for ideologies as heinous as communism. 20. It says a lot about those who continue to support Trudeau even with his dismal record as Prime Minister. Too many Canadians think of politics as a team sport and they'll support their "team" no matter how awful they are. The bar is set really low for Trudeau.
  21. I am of the opinion that it's the Liberals that are moving further to the left well into NDP territory. The CPC under O'Toole was well within sight of where the Liberals are and not all that conservative. The NDP is the last political party I would ever want to see win power in Canada(a tie with the Greens).
  22. This article from PostMillenial says Pierre Poilievre will announce that he will seek the leadership of the CPC. BREAKING: Pierre Poilievre is officially running for Conservative leader | The Post Millennial If he wins it should at least be an improvement over O'Toole but it remains to be seen if his stance on things like the carbon tax and gun control is different than O'Toole's.
  23. AOC's critics are motivated/frustrated by her ignorance more than anything else. She just doesn't seem to have much of a grasp on any subject and yet she get's the rock star diva treatment by the MSM. She clearly does not like to be challenged or face any tough questions because she would falter badly. Ocasio-Cortez Sets New Records for Dumbest Comments - American Liberty Report (americanlibertyemail.com) No wonder she avoids debating, she is always inside her safe space.
