Micheal, I find that you have some salient points to make upon occasion. This however is not one of those times. The behaviour of these agencies and this government can not be blamed in some speculative, tenuous way on the Royal Familly. This is simply an absurd and juvenile comparison bereft of any real substance. Rather this bad behaviour is the result of entirely individual dishonesty, corruption and cronyism. The people who behave this way own it, no one else, no vague excuses to explain or in some way justify it.

So, as I suspected you can't answer.. You throw out crap but when challenged you don't give any kind of reasonable answer. You just attempt to deflect away from your statement instead. As for your I.Q. comment If I recall correctly you said the military recruits lower I.Q. people. If one judges by our brief exchange it would actually appear to be you who has the I.Q. problem. I say this because so far you have not managed to present any logical or sound rebuttal to my question.

Would you care to list all those non western nations who are bastions of the rule of law? Come on, give us a list of all these guys who are crusading for law and human rights. Oh...thats right there are very few if any. Then again this is the kind of drivel I've come to expect from you given your previous posts. In fact, I may be mistaken, but I think it was you who insinuated quite strongly that all Military people are of a lower I.Q. Statements such as yours simply serve to cast strong doubts as to the nature of your own intelligence.

Although I agree with you Cyber I do have to point out something about your post. When you state that speeding up to pass is normal and expected, well, that sounds reasonable. However here in Ontario the law has now been changed regarding speeding up to pass. If an OPP officer observes you doing so he can now stop you and charge you with street racing or stunt driving. As to whether this law has been applied in such a manner I really couldn't say, probably not so far. It does exist though.

Nice attempt Micheal (not). Your example falls flat though when you consider the OP is talking about local media, what you used is Canadian Immigration Report. Hardly what one would consider a local media source, wouldn't you agree? As for your sometimes comment, well, come on man. You really think something that happens consistently is just a "whoopsee"? If so then I encourage you to work on developing your critical thinking skills.

Justin Trudeau + Bill Blair = open nomination?
AngusThermopyle replied to Derek 2.0's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
That whole Pluto thing is what really ticks me off about Harper. Why'd he even think he had to do that? -
These guys are pretty good. Four brothers of South African descent. Their father John Kongos had some success with a few hits back in the early sixties. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tDjYuqJRJQ

Even if he did it pales in comparison to the Provincial Liberals. Also how does that excuse the mess they've created? Anyone who believes these guys will keep their word is quite simply delusional, or simple. Just look at their track record so far. If you can't see it clearly then I do truly feel sorry for you.

Liberals selling off 60% of Hydro One
AngusThermopyle replied to Topaz's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Ya gotta love the timing of these announcements. We're selling Hydro...look! Squirrel! They have to arbitrarily change the law in order to sell Hydro. Oh, wait, they'll just do it anyway. Biggest bunch of inept crooks ever. I guess if you disagree with the sale Wynne will just brand you a Hydrophobe. -
Anyone see this yet? A novelty but entertaining.

Finland To Scrap Subjects in Education
AngusThermopyle replied to Mighty AC's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
If we are to believe you when you say this is your first year of teaching how could you have attended many Professional development conferences over the years? Riddle me that. -
I like wearing a watch, not for decorative purposes but practical ones. At work pretty much everyone has a phone. These people are constantly asking me what time it is. It's far more convenient to glance at my wrist than to pull out a phone to check the time. In fact a few of the younger ones have gone out and bought watches. As for a phone on me at all times, not a chance, I despise phones and only use them when I have to. The idea of people being able to bother me any time where ever I may be is repugnant to me to say the least.

Sex Education In Ontario
AngusThermopyle replied to Big Guy's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Most certainly. It does not meet any of the criteria required to be considered a branch of science. -

Sorry, that made me quite angry so I deleted my answer. -
Sex Education In Ontario

I would most emphatically say it is not a part of science. -
Firing police to drop crime rate and reduce tax cost

Who needs bullet proof vests when you have main battle tanks? -
I've never had one. Apparently it was much easier to do with the old bills, well...obviously, they're not plastic.

Has anyone here gotten a "Spocked" five yet? http://ibackpackcanada.com/spock-five-the-new-canadian-currency/

You see this kind of thing all of the time. Young guys with zip for experience but they're the true expert and authority on the job. Everyone they work with either just shakes their head and ignores them or just out and out laughs at them. Here's a hint Socialist, pay some dues, then come back and talk. You'll be far more credible if you've actually lived what you talk about..

Everyone here is forgetting one very important fact about Socialist. That fact is that quite late last year he stated that he wasn't finished his education and training to be a teacher. He also said he expected to be teaching by the end of the year. Therefore he obviously has no personal experience with OT or how much he works in a year because, by his own admission, he has not been teaching for a year yet. At best, based on what he has said previously he has been teaching for several months. I'm with Ash, this guy is no teacher, just another online BS'er.

People Don't Understand 21st Century Math
AngusThermopyle replied to socialist's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
I think I'd just use different coloured blocks to build it with. Maybe some nice shapes too. -
People Don't Understand 21st Century Math
AngusThermopyle replied to socialist's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
In fact I would say you are the one who thinks that. I'm pretty sure most of us think Trig and Calculus and so on are math. What you cite as an example is more akin to sandbox math. Something you apparently have some trouble with if one is to believe your own statements pertaining to this subject. Sure, coloured blocks. I can just see the reaction from my boss if he told me about some spec changes and I started pulling out coloured blocks in order to arrive at the incorrect answer. I'd be on the unemployment line so fast my feet wouldn't touch the ground. -
People Don't Understand 21st Century Math
AngusThermopyle replied to socialist's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
I was educated in the old way. The way that according to you doesn't work. I'm willing to bet that I would trounce you soundly if we were both tested. Not only in math but the sciences as well. So, with your oh so superior understanding and my stone age education how could this possibly be? Whats interesting is the fact that Manitoba has come to its senses and are dropping the discovery method as it plainly doesn't work. What will you do when Ontario regains some sanity and actually decides we should educate kids properly? Will you be the maverick who refuses to teach the curriculum because you suck at math? -
So true about commercial fishing. It's disgusting to see the mass destruction inflicted upon the ocean with total disregard for the consequences. It makes the Alberta oil fields look like a child's sand box in comparison.
