Trump knew about Epstein sexual abuse
Barquentine replied to Barquentine's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
If it was Biden you'd be screaming to have him locked up for life. I can't believe you're defending Tump on this... Oh, wait! Yes I can! ( Forgot who I was talking to for a moment) Remind me again what it smells like up Trump's ass... I'm guessing 'Pumpkin Spice'. -
Trump knew about Epstein sexual abuse

Seems you right wingers, including Canadians, will defend Trump no matter what. You're ok with pedophilia . (Unless of course it's Hilary Clinton running a pedo ring out of a pizza basement) -

Should the vast majority of the US be white?
Barquentine replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
So Trump's only sending ICE into Democratically controlled cities. Which means soon all the illegals will only be in Red states, just like MAGA wanted. Well done! (Mor0ns!) -
Why Are We Doing This U.S. Vs. Canada Thing?
Barquentine replied to Zeitgeist's topic in Canada / United States Relations
The idea of a Euro type economic zone is ok. I mean, if France and Germany can get along under that system, any 2 countries can. Problem is the common currency. The US would never recognize anything other than the American dollar and Canadians won't want currency with American presidents on it. And what kind of problems would language and Quebec present?- 223 replies

What's your point? Every country adopted metric because it's so much better than imperial. Easier, more precise, makes business, education, trade, manufacturing, science... BETTER! If you're so stuck in the past, go back to using shillings and pence, guineas and crowns. Drive a brace of furlongs to buy a firkin of ale. That'll last you a fortnight.

It's the job of the PBO to examine and judge the budget. In this, they're a better opposition than the Conservatives (meaning Poilievre) who still just spouts slogans and empty rhetoric. A judgment is not fact though and no one can 100% predict the future. Also from the PBO: "That is, based on Finance Canada projections, current fiscal policy in Budget 2025 would be deemed sustainable over the long term. "

Actually the studies that consider all aspects of buying and operating a vehicle show that EVs are cheaper. -

Not voted out. Kings and other nobles had power as long as they could hold on to it. But more importantly it isn't really about how much power the leader has. That ebbs and flows in democracies. The really important point is that under a king, you're not a citizen but a subject of the king. That is controlled by having a costitutional monarchy. Ours is an odd mixture- the King is had of state but we passed the citizenship act in 1977 to make us citizens. But monarchy - antithetical to Americans since 1776 at least.
