  1. Oh I wouldn't waste anger on him. But apparently you didn't read his post.
  2. What a bunch of id!otic, asinine, Q-anon, right-wing, puerile, ignorant, simple-minded, steaming pile of sh!te! Does your mom make you wear your hockey helmet all the time or does the tinfoil hat protect you?
  3. Maybe you should specify who "They" are. Otherwise that's just a lame stoopid post. " But sooner or later the radical left is going to face a serious reckoning. It's coming." So you do support political violence when it's from the right. You're just going to hide when it happens.
  4. Well, I don't have an account on Musks pile of shite, but explain to me how Canadians NOT using the free pass costs the gov't $200 million.
  5. I have already corrected that mistake. Americans died at twice the RATE Canadians did. Their 1.2 milliion versus our 60,000. So you're admitting that better lockdowns would have worked.
  6. Make up your mind. Excuse me... how many people died from Covid? Due to the very efficient lockdown in the Maritimes, it was called "The Safest Place on Earth" at the time.
  7. I see why you like PeePee so much. Simple soltions for simple minds. You think even if we cut immigration to zero, that would fix the medical system? How long would that take? What would that do to tax bases? What would that do to employment and wages? Sure try some private care. Then don't b!tch about the costs. Or the added problems to public care. Are you ok with good health care for the rich but not the poor? But seriously, try it out. If it helps everybody I'll sign on. Last time I checked the provinces do collect taxes for health care and other things.
  8. Fantasy of yours? Again, quote where I said anything like that. Oh, wait: you can't. As usual you just make sh!t up and ascribe thoughts to others to make yourself sound good. (It ain't working). Did CdnFoxnetwork mentor you?
  9. So you avoided the point that quarantining, lock-downs and masking have been going on for centuries, contrary to your claim it had never happened before. It's easy to educate yourself these days.
  10. I'll see your bid and raise you 2 stars for 'Virtue Signalling'.
  11. There's good reasons for those policies. Most medical errors happen during change-overs, between staff, during shift changes, etc... Simple identifying questions stop a lot of errors from happening. When you're really sick, tests like BP and blood are great indicators of your condition. Would you really rather have them not check on you? And just because a technology is old doesn' mean it's bad. Faxes work fine.
  12. My wife had a similar situation 2 yrs ago. Her appendix. She got the same immediate care she needed. Seems like we have 2 systems: the real one, which despite its problems, works when it's needed, and: the right-wing imaginary one, that's apocalyptically dis-functional. It's just raining. The sky is not falling!
  13. So wrong. From a simple google search: Since the fourteenth century, quarantine has been the cornerstone of a coordinated disease-control strategy, Spanish Flu 1918 Maritime quarantines, which had stopped infectious diseases from entering Canada in the 19th century, did not prevent the spread of the virus as the infected were travelling within the country, where no quarantine measures had been developed. During the 2003 pandemic of severe acute respiratory syndrome, the use of quarantine, border controls, contact tracing, and surveillance proved effective in containing the global threat in just over 3 months. The history of epidemic face masks traces back to the 17th-century bubonic plague.
  14. Google search: Men vs. Women Insolvency Statistics The proportional breakdown of insolvencies between men and women has remained nearly even in recent years: 2024: Men accounted for 51% of insolvencies, and women accounted for 48%. 2023: Men accounted for 51% of insolvencies, and women accounted for 49%.
  15. Where did I say that? Do I make up sh!t and tell you what you think? Who said that? And yes, I'm a small l liberal, but I have voted Conservative lately. And if the Federal Conservatives ever get a sensible centrist leader, not that snivelling simp they have now, I might consider supporting them.
  16. If you have a solution you'll be a national hero. Aging population, inflationary pressure, the ongoing expansion of everything in the medical field...I'd love to know the answer.
  17. It was the SPREAD of Covid we were fighting, with the best knowledge we had at the time. If we'd followed your idea of no isolation, we would have lost a lot more people. Now, thanks to the anti-isolationists like you, next time we will lose more people to whatever killing disease sweeps the world.
  18. My mistake. I meant to say Americans died at TWICE the RATE Canadians did. 60,000 Canadians vs 1,200,00 Americans.
  19. Where is that happening? Because our economy is not great right now, you think someone in Canada is "bankrupting Canadian women and starving out Canadian children"? Can you quote where I said anything even close to that? You reverting to Straw Man arguments doesn't help your case. Mirror, mirror. Sounds just like Trump's pathetic insults. Are you a 'stable genius' too?
  20. I've worked in Gov't and private industry. Both have efficient and inefficient operations.
  21. You don't seem to remember how many people were dying from Covid's first effects. Let me remind you: A LOT! But after a while Covid mutated into something less lethal. Apparently you would have preferred more deaths during that first wave? Americans died at 10 times the Canadian rate.
  22. More of your twisted bullsh!t. https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/health-services-benefits/medical-assistance-dying.html "Eligibility: Grievous and irremediable medical condition To be considered as having a grievous and irremediable medical condition, you must meet all of the following criteria. You must: -have a serious illness, disease or disability -be in an advanced state of decline that cannot be reversed -experience unbearable physical or mental suffering from your illness, disease, disability or state of decline that cannot be relieved under conditions that you consider acceptable Informed consent: Informed consent is when you give permission to receive medical assistance in dying after you receive all of the information you need to make your decision. This includes: -your medical diagnosis -available forms of treatment -available options to relieve suffering, including palliative care You must be able to give informed consent both: -at the time of your request -immediately before receiving medical assistance in dying, unless special circumstances apply You can withdraw your consent at any time and in any way." These are people who will die soon anyway, regardless of medical attention, or suffer prolonged, irremediable pain. Who the phuck are you say anyone should or shouldn't make this choice? If that condition ever happens to me I'm glad I'll have the choice. You can suffer and let your family suffer along with you as much as you want. Making your dumb political point will be worth it, right?
  23. No. I'm willing to wait for non-essential care if it means someone who needs critical care gets it immediately. But apparently you're too selfish for that. Not surprised.
