And tens of millions of Americans feel the same way about private health care. Compare the costs per person. Imagine needing a heart bypass or cancer treatment in the US vs canada. Google and see all the serious problems with the health care system in other countries. The scope and costs of health care has grown everywhere, not just in Canada.

Conservative Crosses Floor to Join Carney’s Liberals
Barquentine replied to BeaverFever's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Is that what they were doing from 1957-1984? 2025 election: Chris d'Entremont Conservative Party of Canada 23,024 47.7 Ronnie LeBlanc Liberal Party of Canada 22,491 46.6 Not exactly a conservative landslide. -
By Socialism you mean health care, social security, EI...? Even the most right wing conservative party wouldn't scrap those. Even the US has some of those. are they a socialist country? How much do they subsidize industries? Every advanced country has social programs. Just what the heck are you talking about?

More likely p!ss off Canadians and give the Liberals a majority. The only good that would come from another election would be getting PeePee out of our lives for good. Yesterday Rosemary Barton asked "You are not going to support the budget. After losing an election, saying Carney's the worst and then support the budget." PeePee froze, then pivoted, looking like the id!ot he is. Watch it at 7:18 of the video. It's hilarious! https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.6963772

I suspect that what's really pissing off Donnie Dicko is the fact that we're actually negotiating and not just bending over and giving Trump what he wants, like so many other countries are doing. That's why he hated Chrystia Freeland. How dare she stand up to the Americans and hold out to get a good deal?

Gates Finally Comes Clean On Climate Change
Barquentine replied to Nationalist's topic in Health, Science and Technology
So a 14th century word comes from a 20th century word? Time travelling, maybe? Gender - 14th century Gene - 1909 What is the root of gender? From 14th century Derivation. The modern English word gender comes from the Middle English gender, gendre, a loanword from Anglo-Norman and Middle French gendre. This, in turn, came from Latin genus. Both words mean "kind", "type", or "sort". What is the root word for gene? The term "gene" was coined by Danish botanist Wilhelm Johannsen in 1909, derived from the Greek word genos meaning "birth," "race," or "procreation" The word gene takes its root in the ancient Greek, where génos means the race, which comes from the word gignomai which means to engender, to become. Gender is an assignation by language. Even tables and windows have genders in some languages. -

Gates Finally Comes Clean On Climate Change

And every time we try to do that the right-wing gets apoplectic - "Why are we giving our money to other countries? Survival of the fittest!!" and sh!t like that... No serious authority said climate change would lead to humanity's end. But it will do us serious economic, social, and financial damage. And Gates didn't say climate change isn't one of our most serious problems, he just stated the obvious (which we already knew) that ther are other extremely serious problems as well. The public is smarter than you and recognize our problems. It's the id!ots on your side that don't want to look ahead and fix some of these problems -
Headline: DOUG FORD SHOOTS CANADA IN THE FOOT! Ford will pull these ads himself, or of course Carney will have to convince him. No caving involved. And trumps pendulum of immature emotional swings, after talking to some adults, will bring him back to the table. It seems they're getting close to some kind of deal but this will set it back a week or so.
