This is easily solved. Mandate that any kind of treatment be performed after they are 18 or in university. If while in middle school or high school, they feel as if they are then let them seek counseling away from the school. Finally, if you think that you need some sort of treatment... then you pay for it. No public funds or assistance. Pretty simple, i would say.

More Tales from a Red State Shithole
impartialobserver replied to BeaverFever's topic in State Politics in the United States
This is not a commentary on should. You know that it happens on a daily basis in every town and city. There are a lot of things that folks should not do but they do it anyways. The OP shows his racism by only pointing out when blacks do these less than civilized acts. Conveniently forgetting that whites, hispanics, and every one else are equally guilty. -
Hmmm... then why are Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, Harvard, Yale, Cal Poly, and University of Washington ranked at the top of most lists year after year. This ranking is not subjective. It is based on the average income of the graduates five years after graduation, number of published academic journal articles, and what percentage of students finish (as opposed to attend for 1 year and then quit).

Hmmmm.. so when those white guys relieved themselves in an alley, they were animals. I know that you would say that to their face. -
Why Leftists Are So Unhappy

If and when you have the spare cash.. you should attend the Burning Man festival. The festival is unique for reasons that you can research. However, the terrain is one of a kind. The playa as it is called is this vast alkaline desert that is almost perfectly flat. If you drive northbound towards alturas, ca, you can see the curviture of the earth. The playa is not just dirt. It is like walking in flour with this strange sticky mud about 9 to 12 inches below. Sounds terrible but is quite surreal. -
I went to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho many years ago. By pure chance, I was there during the time when they the Aryan Nations march was happening. It was quite the event. Two men, one wagon, one dog.. and that was it. Streets were blocked off and armed security guards were ready. And yet nobody in the parade except for the two men and one of them pulling a dog along in a wagon. The "crowd" was mainly folks looking around in confusion at why the streets were closed and yet nothing was going on. Or they were laughing at these two pathetic low life's. This was far more rewarding and satisfying to me than if someone had actively opposed them. If you argue with them.. you give them a captive audience. If you ignore them.. you deprive of the one thing they want most, conflict.

Are the Democrats an Actual Cult?
impartialobserver replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Being that I am married to a teacher who is quite liberal.. I see liberals in action. They are not one in the same. You are going to base your views on leftists solely on the views of 3 or 4 internet forum posters on an obscure forum? That is good stuff. Punishment... Oh, so when you disagree with someone on an internet forum or facebook, you lose money, health, jobs, etc.? Interesting how only you know this and the other 8 billion or so people on this earth do not know this. This is some twilight zone stuff on your part. Now I know where you are going to go with this. When I say, variance in views... I am talking about their views (regardless of what it is) not being EXACTLY the same. For there to be variance in views... they have to agree with you on something. Two liberals who disagree but are still both quite liberal is not variance in your eyes. -
Why Leftists Are So Unhappy

I think that it is the vast emptiness. Being the only person for miles on end gives you a certain freedom that being in a forest does not. You can be reckless in the desert and mostly there be no consequences. There is a zen about it as well.. no stimuli. I used to (before kids) go on bike rides through the Nevada desert. 75 to 110 mile rides through the emptiness. -
Why Leftists Are So Unhappy

Not sure where these buddhists are. The primary reasons folks move here 1. to avoid state income tax 2. To be close but not in California 3. To be near the Sierra Nevadas and the outdoor playground it offers 4. to be mostly free from political activism 5. space.. I can be in no mans land in 2 minutes from my house in Reno. Get on the freeway and within 2 minutes.. there is no sign of civilization except for the road. Yes, there is a town 45 miles away but between the two.. mostly nothing. And if you were especially dedicated and travel north or south of the interstate, you may not see anyone for a few hundred miles. After that town... it gets very desolate and empty. -
words by themselves are not evidence... Just because it is written down by someone at a given time does not mean that it is evidence of anything.. Come on now, lets not play stupid. There are plenty of things that you have read that you would not qualify as absolute, reproducible evidence of something.

Are the Democrats an Actual Cult?
impartialobserver replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I would say no. Just like with Republicans.. there is too much variation in the views of the individuals. In true cults.. there is little to no variance and any variance is punished. You can't exactly punish someone on social media or an online forum in any tangible way. -

Never did I mention anything about being nationalistic or having any issues with it... I live in Nevada... for the umpteenth time. -

if you were not so hopelessly biased.. you would notice I am an independent and so get it from both sides. The difference is that I do not need nor want the security blanket of saying I am liberal, conservative, or whatever. -
What is up with this Reason10 guy??
impartialobserver replied to NYLefty's topic in State Politics in the United States
They claim to be so tough, thick skinned, etc. and yet they reflexively react to every post about them... Seeking affirmation is he? Nahh. -
Why Leftists Are So Unhappy
impartialobserver replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
That is true of most in politics not just one side of it. The instant that you break away even the slightest.. you are a traitor or some other negative term. So you can't blame most for seeking affirmation. -
Its true that most diehard white supremacists identify as conservative/republican more often than liberal/democratic. That being said... the number of actual white supremacists is nowhere near as much as those on the left would like to think. There is no database to query so the best one can do is estimate the number in a given identified group. A group of us found 14 groups with an estimated total membership of 12,000. Out of 340 million, that is quite miniscule.

Trump Derangement Syndrome
impartialobserver replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Folks can't get enough of this guy. Either they love him or hate him. Either way.. if he is the lead story, they get clicks, ratings, or revenue. Quite sad. -
moving the goalposts..... ever so predictable Creation is a story that you expect others to believe because you chose to utter the words. To win this one with me.. I need something more than words... show me a video or something reproducible.

Trump Derangement Syndrome
impartialobserver replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
There is going to be a day when we can talk about something other than Trump. I know.. I have high expectations. -
The words of scripture are not absolute reproducible evidence... not even close. All you have is belief.. subjective belief. I can own up to my lack of evidence..... see how that works.
-
as I expected.. you can't own up to your own lack of absolute reproducible evidence. All you have is belief and the self important view that everyone show follow in your footsteps. I know that I am imperfect and do not expect anyone to be exactly like me

The Little Mermaid from Disney suddenly black.
impartialobserver replied to RedDog's topic in Sex and Gender Issues
If this movie was the one and only movie available.. then I am Groot has a point. Being that it is one of millions.. It would seem that he has a choice to watch it. Strange how he does not recognize this.
