Jim Acosta Quits CNN
impartialobserver replied to NAME REMOVED's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Yeah.. so he will say the same thing on MSNBC and not CNN. I am not sure how this really matters. -
Some states are growing... Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and Montana being the best examples. Wyoming, Alabama, Alaska, West Virginia, and Mississippi are already not all that populated and are either low growth or declining. Basically kicking them while they are down. These are states that have the double whammy of low birth rates and low in-migration (even if you take undocumented immigrants) into account.

a bit of a non-story -
I do not work with the FBI and all I know is what I see in second hand media. We only know what they let us know. As for what happens behind closed doors and what they actually prioritize... i do not know. I have a fair amount of knowledge when it comes to the BLS and well.. not that interesting. No high drama, no conspiracies, just some garden variety office politics.

Men Dropping College Classes
impartialobserver replied to August1991's topic in Sex and Gender Issues
Believe it or not.. enrollment in higher education is on the decline. Why? The students are of the opinion that sometimes it is not worth it. If you are going to be a doctor, can't avoid it. If you do not know what you are wanting to do.. a lot of them are bypassing it -
Not to be sour grapes but there were two calls that the refs whiffed on. its not a matter of judgment.. they simply were wrong. The fourth down call when Buffalo was leading 22-21 and the pass play immediately preceding that. A simple replay shows that Knox was short of the first down by about 6 inches not a yard. on the 4th down play.. replay shows that Allen crossed the first down marker by roughly 3 inches.

Think about this. Males today work less demanding manual labor jobs and also engage in less physically demanding hobbies. The exertion keeps your testosterone levels high. Become too sedentary and your levels drop. Most younger males that I work with or get to know, are big into video games and such. When I tell them that I once went on a 600 mile bike ride, they can't even fathom doing such a thing for fun.

Surveys are imperfect but survey data says that folks do it less today than ever. Other data points to males have less free testosterone which is what motivates the males to do the deed. Actually, abortions have mostly been on the decline since 1978. Only one or two years in that span have seen increases. Furthermore if you removed the Southeastern states from the equation.. there would be nothing to talk about. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/people-have-been-having-less-sex-whether-theyre-teenagers-or-40-somethings/

You would not be posting on a forum if you were not anticipating a response. You can't deny that. You also know that the responses will be full of outrage.. So by that two-fold logic, you are trolling. I could be a pedophile who honestly believes that it is helpful to society (which I do not) and my guess is that you would vehemently oppose that. I know that folks will not discuss it rationally and I know that by posting such unpopular opinions.. all i am going to get in response is outrage.
