  1. Yes, you are an exaggerator and one fueled by emotions. its ok, I know that my cold, clinical, dispassionate way is not the norm. Anyways, carry on.
  2. The bills did challenge the 4th down... you only have so many. Kincaid was short of the first down by roughly half of the football.. multiple replays.. even the one done by CBS show this. Not all calls are equal in terms of impact. Rams-saints NFC championship game.. a no-call on a blatant DPI in the first quarter not nearly as impactful as at the end of the game. Anyways, if you were BUF what would in free agency/draft in order to finally get over the hump?
  3. Ummm.. the refs missed it. put this in (dalton kincaid 3rd down afc championship game ) in you tube and you should come up on a video titled "Referees missed two first down calls in Bills AFC Championship loss to Chiefs, a breakdown".. The video shows that both spots were incorrect.
  4. The OP is a bit of an exaggerator. Oh well.. let him have his fun. In the meantime.. these measures taken by Trump are most likely going to lead to the economy slowing at least if you use CES, QCEW ,and LAUS as your metrics.
  5. I get not liking Trump but this obsession is a bit on the old side. Anyways, I will establish the over/under on Myata's thread creation at 16 for this week.
  6. Correction.. it was Dalton Kincaid and upon review... he was short of the first down by half of a football not over 1 yard. Get that one right.. and it changes the 4th down call. I guess it depends on the camera angle but on two of them it was abundantly clear.. even one of the judges signaled a first down. As to what Buffalo can do going forth, I would say that they need an upgrade at LG, DT, and CB. Not a long list but could help them slay the beast finally.
  7. You are vastly outnumbered and in today's political and social environment.. that renders you ineffectual in the big picture.
  8. Makes sense. My point is that declining population is going to affect those states that are either losing people and/or low population overall. A decline of 5,000 in population is going to mean more in Alabama than it does in CA.
  9. Longer than you will.. for sure. Oh.. but you are going to come back from the dead when it does..
  10. I think that I will purchase some Tragically Hip stuff. infinitesimally small impact but that's ok
  11. Ahh.. but according to some those kids are being scarred for life, molested, etc. Well.. my kids were falling asleep. That really meets the threshold for being scarred for life.
  12. Its irrational because your desires in this case have a 0% chance of ever being realized. Any time, energy, money, patience spent pining for the unattainable is a waste.. therefore irrational.
  13. so you had control over being born white? Interesting.. how did you do such a thing.
  14. This is due to the fact that prior to roughly 1960.. the Democrats were the more Conservative party. Republicans were the more liberal. This switched in the 1950's to the 1960's. No exact date can really be given.
  15. Sorry but not happening. All governments need revenue to operate. Folks do not work for free. No matter what form this takes.. there were be some way of procuring revenue from the citizens and allocating it to government. You have to be pretty delusional to think that a government would work for free.
  16. First. 2023 there were 3 scheduled. It was understanding that one or two were cancelled which left only the one at North Valleys library. As for 2024, there were 5 scheduled but no idea if they actually happened. So lets assume that all three happened in 2023 then the calculus is as such 2023: 3 events (each lasting about 2 hours apiece) so 6 hours out of 8760. Average attendance of 25 with about 20 protesters. As for unique attendees (same person attending multiple events), lets assume that there are a few. So that brings total attendance to (25* 3) + (20 *3) or 75+60. 135 out of 682,828 is still pretty small. Its a mathematical fact. 2024: 5 events.. same length of time. 5 * 25 for attendance and 20 * 3 protesters. That is 125 + 60 or 185. Still pretty small. 185/682,828. The point is that these are relatively rare events that take up a very small amount of time in the given year. The time spent on the events is not commensurate with the time, energy. outrage. Lots of other things in life impact one's life in a far more concrete and direct fashion than these. why were we there? My wife is fairly liberal and feels that our kids should see these folks as people.. no more and no less. As to how they actually play out? Quite unremarkable and boring. Kids were falling asleep. I know that you can't believe this.. they were molesting and raping them. The library system would host them in the summer as a part of an inclusion and diversity week.
  17. This probably is going to get rescinded or scaled back greatly. The feds are legally bound to appropriate and distribute certain funds. To cut the tap off so suddenly violates the law hence the lawsuits.
  18. Why do you insist on dodging? I left out a detail.. one of many. So for 2023... how many were there? Even if you use 2024.. the numbers do not change much. 4 or 5 of them and probably less in attendance per site due to lack of security and non-standard locations. Get that number 100 at most with 20 protestors (about the average from years past). 120/682,828 (reno-sparks-fernley combined statistical area population) is still pretty small. The math does not lie.
  19. More dodging... So in 2023.. how many were there.. Give me exact times and places. It should be easy and yet you do not. If you are going to claim that I am inaccurate.. then give better info. I use Reno but could apply the same method.. number of story hours, population, etc to any number of places.
  20. But you said it was inaccurate.. well then step up and tell me how many minutes are in a year?
  21. Lets be clear.. i was talking about 2023... can you comprehend that? I think it is trivial and silly based on simple quantitative metrics that I have laid out. To talk about something that takes up 150 minutes out of 525,600 ad nauseum is irrational IMO.
  22. Yes, exactly. its simple human nature. Folks will care more about topics that have more data, events than the converse. Something like population decline can seem abstract where you can search the internet and find something about drag queens and get all worked up.
