Judge gives man one year in jail for contempt of court
CdnFox replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Well you got that right - you've given no intelligible response. I'll let you get back to your English lessons then. -
I doubt it'll go out of business. This was one incident and as i've said i think the blowback is more about people being sick of identity politics being shoved in thier face daily. But they will probably have diminished sales for quite a while. People will switch to coors now in protest but chances are once they do for a while they'll stick with it out of habit. Not all, but many. Eventually bud will recover but this is going to cost them many many many billions in sales. And you can bet they'll be avoiding donating to any of the lettered people causes. It's kind of a shame that this happened. I mean really - they sent a trans person a beer at the end of the day. It's not like the sponsored 'homo-the-clown" to dance naked at children's parties or the like. The reaction is way out of proportion because bud is wearing the anger over people being harassed about trans stuff day and night.

That doesn't even make sense. Is english your third language or something? Do you not know how to express your thoughts in an intelligent manner WHAT totally failed ? Did WHAT again recently? If you can't talk above the level of a 5 year old then why would anyone care about your opinion? -

so what. Youv'e proposed nothing better. All you're doing is whining like a baby that sometimes judges get it wrong, Sure - they're human. And in this case a con artist managed to con people. Big shock. Are you saying nobody should ever be charged with a crime? Telus. Bank of Canada. Parliament. There was those nurses who spent their whole careers secretly killing people. Hockey coaches who molested kids for decades. Almost any union job. Is that enough? Did you need more? Sorry kiddo, pretty much none of that is true. That's what you get for listening to the voices in your head. -

You realize judges are just citizens too right? That's how it turns out. You're just creating another layer of entitled bureaucracy. Here's my problem with you. You pretty much demand to be dishonest. Obstructing a police investigation is not just 'saying some words'. Neither is demanding that a justice in a legal setting that he has no legal authority and the guy doesn't have to listen to his judgements. So you say bullcrap like 'it's a thought crime' but it's not As to the cops, they told a very different story. They claim this guy is largely full of shit, but they did take him away from the bar and they didn't arrest him, so all the judge could PROVE was that they unlawfully confined him. They put him in their car without proper arrest. So when you say that they got 6 months for abandoning him to his death its a lie - that's not what they were convicted of. So you want to create fake things for the guys you don't like and want to magically disappear things for the guy you do like. Would you be one of these 'honest citizens' you were talking about that would serve us all? -
That's federal. You forgot the provincial debts too. There's only one taxpayer so we're on the hook for both. so you can double that again. For 2021 (the fiscal year ending 31 March 2022), the market value of gross debt was $2,942 billion ($76,135 per capita) for the consolidated Canadian general government – federal, plus provincial, territorial and local governments (PTLGs) combined.[3] As a ratio of GDP, gross debt was 117.2% (GDP was $2,510 billion in 2021[4]), down from 130.0% in 2020, the highest level ever recorded, but significantly above the pre-pandemic level (105.6% in 2019).[5] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_public_debt

We'll never know until you learn to use plain english But your stories are about as straight as a logging road No, you mentioned other people. We assumed you were stupid for different reasons. Well there you go, Nope. and i think we can all see who's "drivelling" here Shall i fetch you a bib? or diaper? man - this should be such a happy time for you and your kind, and here you're spending it being all emotionally worked up and with people laughing at you. Way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory ';) -
I'm actually a little surprised they're torching people. Nobody's really called for that. I think they're hoping if they just sacrifice a few people to show they're sorry then people will forgive them. I suppose scapegoating is a time honoured tradition at big companies. Funny thing is - she mentioned she doesn't drink beer. There is literally no such thing as a 'manly light beer'. And what's the frikkin point anyway - it's like 'low fat lard'. Makes no sense.

That's not what they're seeing bud Odd then that they haven't charged trump with being a traitor and in fact the fbi said he didn't commit any crimes LOLOLOL - i don't think you thought that one through very well So far clinton's campain and the dems are the only ones charged for their activities with the russians. Awww muffin You so maaad. You should have a cookie and a nap. Sorry the truth doesn't work for you kiddo. But your therapy issues are not my responsibility. There's no collusion Trump did nothing wrong. The fbi says so. The dems have admitted they worked with the russians and paid to have a dossier with fake attack info against their rival prepared and released to the fbi. Mueller after years of searching with a huge team found no evidence of any wrongdoing. Few people have been investigated more thoroughly. Hillary's campaign and party had to fork over 100 grand or more to pay for her lying about the funding of the steele report because they illegally hid the spending.

Well yes and no. First off with trans mountain they actually bought ownership. So there's an asset there. As to the fossil fuel industry in general that isn't for one lousy factory, that's for an industry that employs well over 200 thousand people and pours tonnes of money in royalties back to the provinces and creates many many billions in tax revenue for the feds. And it's not like ontario hasn't gotten more than it's share of such things over the years, the auto bail out, numerous air canada bail outs, etc. But fair point, it's not like alberta has never got a fed handout.
-
True I'm afraid. Lying about it won't help. So - you didn't say they called for an organized boycott, you said they called for an organized boycott. Well i'm glad we could clear that up. You're an !diot. With a saturday night live skit and a bumper sticker? Never happened kid. And yet you can't find one who talked about it. Amazing. Never happened kid. And you know that. If you dug SOOOO hard that all you could come up with was a 'boycott france' bumper sticker someone had and you coudln't even find ONE actual republican talking about it then YOU KNOW it never happened. sorry to burst your delusions kiddo. Better luck with your next baseless delusion.

https://nationalpost.com/opinion/13-billion-reasons-albertans-should-be-livid Rex Murphy: 13 billion reasons Albertans should be livid Massive subsidy for EV battery plant in Ontario another smack in the face for the oil and gas industry Thirteen billion dollars in government subsidies are going to Volkswagen to build an electric vehicle battery plant in Ontario. That’s what the Liberal government calls a “business case.” Thirteen billion dollars to build a $7-billion factory. Of course such a massive payout — bribe? — would only be provided for a “green” business case. Foreign governments caught in an energy squeeze — like say, Germany — turned to Canada to see if our great oil and gas reserves might fill the gap, but that was not a business case, according to our prime minister. At least not a business case for Canada. For Qatar maybe, but not Canada. Well that's an interesting take on it.

So as long as you use the definition that he did nothing wrong and there was no scheme .. then it was collusion You're an !diot The russians can get the same proprietary polling done and they're free to share their campaign strategy with anyone. That's like a conversation - "hey, we're up 20 points in our internall polling and we think if we focus on clinton's corruption we can win'. thats a total non issue. Asking for fake information to smear a rival candidate and then trying to sell it ot the FBI as legit while hiding your spending however... The information says no collusion. The liar here is you. And you try to excuse that lie by changing the definition of 'collusion' till it fits just so you can continue to use the word. It's pathetic. Of course they did. Naming the employee who did the work doesn't change that. THEY did it. They commissioned it, they paid for it, they paid for the bribes to the russians (who gave fake info), and they shipped it to the FBI. That's like trying to say that if a company is guilty of bribing someone it's not the company, it's bob in accounting who prepared the cheque So - recap. There's no collusion unless you change the definition of collusion to fit. Trump did nothing wrong. The dems have admitted they worked with the russians and paid to have a dossier with fake attack info against their rival prepared and released to the fbi. Mueller after years of searching with a huge team found no evidence of any wrongdoing or what the dictionary would refer to as 'collusion. at all Hillary's campaign and party had to fork over 100 grand or more to pay for her lying about the funding of the report. At the end of the day trump did not "collude" with any russians, did nothing wrong or illegal, and the dems lied about it for 3 years. Thanks for playing

Sounds like you were wrong before then. not credible ones. Well - 'a lot' is probably an exaggeration. oh sorry - i forgot how much big words scare you. Not really. They might paint their body, but that's no different than putting on makeup. That's not attempting to physically mutilate themselves. We don't call vaginal mutilation a 'cultural body change'. you literally claimed that's how it worked. If people self identify and cultural identities aren't part of the greater society what makes them think that dresses are what women wear? what if they identify as a street lamp, when theyr'e clearly not a street lamp. It would be more fair to say that in many cases only the HONEST people refuse to respect peoples faux identities. No they're not. Is this like you're 'book ban', where the book wasn't banned in the slightest, it just wasn't in school libraries? first off - never 'bring up' the kilt, you don't know whats under there. No you didn't. You claimed it was not biological you claimed it was cultural saying it was only biological in the sense that culturally we assign certain things to different sexes. Its' only in THIS post AFTER i said that where you made any reference to the biology at all You're such a liar
-
Why not. Elections are only held every 4 years. so to go back 2 elections is going to be 8 years period. Prior to 2008 the dems didn't win one for that long as well so... you saying the dems can't win an election without the college? Hell if we're going by time, it would be just as fair to say the republicans have been winning elections without the college for hundreds of years now. But please - continue. It's always fun showing how retarded your arguments are Here's the left's thinking at work kids, pull up a chair and grab some popcorn, it's better than the monkeys at the zoo

Everyone has to travel to the local polling station and we don't set up polling stations at most people's place of work or business just to make it easy for them. Like i said - we don't set up polling stations at gun shows So it's doing something for college students that we don't do for others. That's treating them with favoritism. And the dems want to do that because they perceive those students as likely to vote for them. ' the only place that's acceptable at all is something like old folks homes or extended term hospitals where people have a very difficult time getting out - but the dems don't support that, they want mail in ballots from there because it's much easier to harvest those from old people. I would think so - but thats not the issue. Childish in the extreme which just goes to show why the left can't be trusted. They don't want it for the same reasons the dems DO want it - they both know it's easier to harvest student votes which are more likely to be to the left if there's stations right on campus. You can have student volunteers pushing students to vote dem very easily, which you really couldn't anywhere else. No, but i probably should have dumbed it down further for you. That's my bad, many of my words were polysyllabic. Er .. sorry i mean 'long'. There is a fine line between soliciting votes and 'mining' or pressuring or forcing votes. Mail in votes are favored by dems because it is VERY easy to pressure someone on the spot to vote the way you want them to. Or just take the ballot and fill it out as you like if you have access to their mail. It reduces security so it makes election fraud much easier. they're trying to get everyone to have an equal vote, with neither side being favoured. That's kind of a good thing Always love hearing you beg after you know you've lost Sorry, hard pass. I'm more into honesty, Lying about things is what we have YOU for. -
Uhhh no. They win without the college in every election they win. So they do win without the college always. Trump's election was the exception . the fact that there's a long time between elections doesn't change that. Your statement that they can't win without the college is in fact a lie, they almost exclusively win without the college.

Why would you care? The truth doesn't serve your purposes so you'll just make it up anyway. I'm content knowing that everyone reading this has a pretty good idea of what left and right is and where conservatives and liberals sit on those spectrums. If you choose to be dishonest about it then they'll know. Saying that liberals are right wing would be a pretty good example

So - it's not incorrect to refer to a transgender woman as a 'male'? ROFLMAO - well you never have. Well htey don't do it to change their biology. And they don't do it because of gender either. Soooo - still missing an explination here. So what you're saying there is that it's just fashion sense. If a girl likes pants shes 'transgender'. Or if a boy wants to wear a dress he's transgender. (scotland would like to talk to you). Funny thing is gender is associated with biology. Imma just gonna leave this here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29460079/
-
But wait a moment - i thought a 'transgender woman is a real woman'. So that's biological. You guys are going to have to make up your minds here. Also if gender is just culture why do trans women want to change their biology? and why are we letting them participate in women's sports if their gender issues don't affect their biology? Oh what a tangled web we weave ...

Accepted Sure. As a hat tip to that we allow 'civil disobedience' as a legal thing. Where it's accepted a person can challenge a laws constitutionality or validity directly. No no - let us be clear, those revolutions were all criminal. Sedition SHOULD be seen as criminal. Sometimes things get to the point where you have no choice but to commit a crime, which is the idea behind the Canadian tradition of 'defense of necessity' (i don't know if that's an American thing). It may be a crhime we now all agree was necessary but it was a crime. Like what? Until he interfered with the police investigation he was just some guy with weird ideas. Myata's own ramblings aren't far off this guys' delusions. It's not like we could arrest Myata or anything. I think all you can do is make an example out of people who use this as an excuse for bad behavior. Interfere with the cops or take some other action based on the idea that the courts and gov't have no authority and you get severely punished. Should send a message to the other nutbars. Yes, i'm currently tuned in to reality FM and he's on VHF (Very High Foolishness.) (Sorry - i had to ) -

LOL - still don't get it do you well, the good news is you'll never be popular so it won't impact you too much LOL You were the one suggesting that watching fox meant you were stupid. So ... sounds like you think it means something else. You'll have to get your story straight You were the one bringing it up - i was responding to your post about how they go up and down. So I didn't bring it up. Are you saying that YOUR posts are just gratuitous drivel? I mean - i think everyone else thinks so but i'm surprised to hear YOU say it. -
