Sorry - but it's biden who's sinking now in the polls https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/ https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/nbc-news-poll-nearly-70-gop-voters-stand-trump-indictment-investigatio-rcna80917 https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/pres_general/ His approval is nosediving. Trump is actually edging up in catagories. And realclear has trump ahead in many polls. Looks like you were wrong, the great republican purge isn't happening

You mean she exercised her rights and for no medical or scientific reason out of hatred people like you are trying to let her die. Yes. i'm sure that's the case. I'm certain that it's not what's inside the needle that concerns her. Yeah - you'd think after that she'd realize how lethal it is and why she's got to be vaxxed. You make it very hard to argue with your point there

What do you mean, It's entirely correct with respect to physics. Ahhh... i forgot, you don't understand any of this stuff. ROFLMAO - so you don't understand physics AND you also have no sense of humour I think maybe we need to get you to do a captcha Everyone who knows even a little about physics knows that a) you're wrong and b) - you can't even google it properly You just outted yourself nicely kiddo

regarding slurs and attacks on women? When was that? Sure - liberals probably won't either. (Ba da bing! Tip yer waitresses folks...) Missed that but not terribly surprised. True - although in fairness that was in the us and it's not like canadian liberals made that particular claim. I'll concede that if a thing can be said, somewhere some how some nut bar is going to say it so a very small incident or single voice can't be considered relevant. But - i feel like its more than that. I guess we'll have to wait and see, long way yet from an election. I suspect she'll play a bigger role than most wives do and we'll see how people react

https://tnc.news/2023/04/19/unvaxxed-natural-immunity/ Lewis is dying of a terminal illness. She was removed from the top of the organ donor transplant list after refusing to be vaccinated against Covid-19. She has been challenging the constitutionality of Covid-19 vaccine requirements for transplant candidates put in place by AHS, an Alberta Hospital, and six transplant doctors for more than a year. Her counsel is now demanding that health officials accept her newly established natural immunity to Covid-19 as an alternative to vaccination and reinstate Lewis to the high-priority transplant waitlist by April 21. “There is no principled medical or scientific reason to continue to deny Ms. Lewis a life-saving organ transplant,” legal counsel Allison Pejovic said in a statement. Now - for those who claim 'no one was FORCED to get the vaccine'.... i kind of feel like 'Get it or we'll let you die' is KIND of forcing them Full disclosure, i'm fully vaxxed and boosted. But - i totally respect people's right to choose and this really does feel like it's WAY over the line.

I suspect they didn't want to give it the traffic. Well i would HOPE that most liberals wouldn't buy into the idea that she's a spy sent by harper to destroy canada LOL While we all joke about it i think they're a little more sane than that. Reminds me of the 'harper eats babies' conspiracy theory back in the day, nobody really thought that. But just the fact that they're going after her is annoyingly hypocritical . And a few others on that side have as well. We'll see but its kind of a disturbing trend. Wives have always been off limits, nobody went after Mrs Harper and nobody's bugging Justin's wife (as long as she doesn't take money from people he hires as pm) .

https://nationalpost.com/opinion/carson-jerema-liberal-trolls-come-for-anaida-poilievre Anyone who was worried that Elon Musk had turned Twitter into some sort of alt-right hellscape can relax. It is still very much a welcoming place for hysterical left-wing conspiracy theories popular among the “#IStandWithTrudeau” crowd. Lately, they’ve been obsessed with spreading nonsense about Anaida Poilievre, wife of Pierre Poilievre, being some sort of foreign agent sent to destabilize Canada, possibly at the behest of Stephen Harper. Have to admit - i did not see that coming. The liberals push the idea that they're all about empowering women. That we need more women in politics. That it's WRONG and EVIL to attack women politicans or political figures on line, and that it's horrible that we don't have more women's voices . Then they do this. And they do it every single time. They do it with Leslyn Lewis, and any other woman that doesn't tow the line, and now Anaida who's not even running for office is being attacked by the libs. And it's not just this handful of jokers. She's an immigrant, she's self made having started from a lower middle class family, she's a powerful woman - all the things the libs are supposed to like. But she's conservative. So she's scum.

There's truth in that to a degree but at the end of the day there is no justification for our current debt levels. As you note the US can get away with their psychotic debt to gdp because they have an anchor currency. We do not. And our debt to gdp has almost doubled - going from a low that was the envy of the world to an upper middle thats' dangerous and which will hold us back significnatly. And we're not done yet - trudeau is still borrowing. He's hoping flooding the country wiht immigrants will keep ahead of that but that's a pyramid scheme. It fails eventually.

Well neither did Carleson. He complained about that coverage and said it was silly, they wanted him to keep going. That's not his fault. -

yeah i'm going to call bullcrap on that. What i said is you'd have to prove relevance. Now i KNOW you've never taken a law class or been to court. And jon got pilloried for that attitude. He did it a number of times, he would go on other shows and say 'You're dividing america" and they would say "but you do as well" and he'd say "BUT BUT BUT .. i'm comedy!" Nobody bought it for long. The truth is he was a coward - he would make strong political statements, not satire, in his show in a funny way and then when people called him on it he'd say 'oh it's not real it's just comedy'. But then demand it be taken seriously. Now nobody takes him seriously. Carlson is closer to honest - everyone kowns hes infotainment and bias. If you thought Carlson was trying to be real news, that explains eve more. And - If you think they're not the same, you're an !diot. NEITHER is meant to be an actual news commentator, BOTH are infotainment, both promote a certain political view and both are focused more on amusing their audience in one way or another rather than disseminating truth and fact. Neither expects to be truthful and BOTH rely very heavily on confirmation bias for their popularity. It's like that rice crispies commercial - what the hell did you THINK they were made of? Sorry - but even a judge agreed that his show was never meant to be taken as literal news an a sensible person would know that. Be sensible. -

I don't think that's why he got fired. I'm aware that that's been kicked around but i think it was other factors. I just don't think he's got the pull he used to. I'm sure he'll get something somewhere but I'm not sure he's much of a 'hot commodity" Carlson's ratings were still off the charts. People always looked at him as more of an actor than a journalist and they love him. Any station who's got a right leaning audience is going to want to snatch him up, he's a license to print money. Honestly i think they'll both be back somewhere. Tucker might not be in a rush tho, i understand they just renewed his contract and had to pay it out in full, so he's still making his wage for another year at least -

Judge gives man one year in jail for contempt of court
CdnFox replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yup. Trudeau's new laws are directly responsible for this and predictably the results are showing. And once again he goes on tv as people are dying and poilce and provinces are screaming for action and promises to do something.... someday. Honest. When we get around to it. At the appropriate juncture. In the fullness of time. He throws around the usual bull - "have to fine tune" "more work to be done" "Canadians want us to get it right". etc. But nothing's happening, no changes have been proposed, -
Well why stop there? It should be MANDATORY to support the party Lefty approves of, and required that all people attend public parades honouring the leader of that party and waive little flags and pictures of them! If elections aren't 100 percent for the party Lefty approves of then the gov't forces should track down whomever didn't vote for them and lock them the hell up for the safety of society. I mean - why would we tolerate people with different views, amiright? Sigh. This, people, is the left today. Freedom? Who needs it. Tolerance? Naaaaaaah. We should use the force of law backed by armed enforcers to make people do WHAT WE KNOW is the "Right Thing". Disgusting.

Well you got that right - you've given no intelligible response. I'll let you get back to your English lessons then.
