70% of Ukrainians now want a peace deal. The people are willing to accept a loss of those eastern provinces in order to stop the slaughter. I cant find a poll newer than February of this year on The Green T-Shirt. But his support has been dropping steadily for a few years now. In May The Green T-Shirt renewed his military takeover by denying a normally scheduled election. As long as this dictator is in power, there will not be peace in Ukraine. Russia has no reason to stop and has wiped out most of Ukraine's electrical grid. Thus the Ukrainian people are in for another bitter winter. If the vast majority of Ukrainians want a peace deal now...why would anyone deny them this?

IMO...any and all "refugees" AND all those fake students, need to be "ICED". Rounded up and sent packing. Canada does not need hundreds of thousands of cling-ons. The "schools" that cater to these "students" need to be shut down and the tax burden of all those "refugees" needs to be eliminated.

Its unfortunate but Alberta may not have another choice. Canada has failed Alberta and all provinces except Ontario and Quebec. They've cowed to those 2 provinces over and over. Yes...it's been done to garner votes and power. But is that the purpose of the federal government? Or is it to represent and support all of Canada? Ottawa had better wake up fast...it may already be too late. If Alberta leaves...Saskatchewan will be next and from there...Canada just falls apart. Make your choice carney...

@Zeitgeist and @paxamericana Boys...none of this has anything to do with democracy. The US democracy is not in decline. Elections happen and are adhered to. Is the US economy in decline? Perhaps. The whole western world is in decline...financially and socially. Question: are the European nation partially responsible for the debt of the US? Of course they are. The US has been carrying Europe since WWII. Have the tariffs been whimsical in their implementation? It does appear that way. But at some point the US had to level the playing field and stop policing the world. Ukraine has little to no value to the US. Hell it has no value to Europe either. Israel has no value to any of us either. The US, Canada and Europe need to pull back their empire building and stop sticking our noses where we have no real stake in matters.

Tweenkie-Poo...it's been 9 months. In 2017 Trump's approval was about 38%. By the end of 2018 it was much higher...mid-40s...and way over 50% in 17 states. Your precious polls today mean squat. What @WestCanMan said above is spot-on. Nobody I know "deifies" Trump. They...and I...respect him. You'd be miles ahead were you to learn that. Its just like how one does not have to "like" someone like Xi...or even Putin. But if you cannot "respect" the two...you are not fit for leadership of any kind and your opinions can thus be dismissed as pure emotional foolishness. Well that's the quandary Ontario faces. Ford gambled on the TDS anger to make him a hero. Instead he got egg all over his face. But would the alternative be better? Probably not huh? Canada made an incredibly stoopid choice based on TDS and "Elbows Up". Now it's all blowing up in our faces. Speaking of fools... Had that illegal not been in the country, would this and similar tragedies have happened? Obviously not. The "Billy Joes" exist and do create such tragedies.
