As Russia was retreating from Kiev, Putin and The Green T-Shirt had negotiated a peace deal...which Johnson put a stop to. I think...as do a lot of "experts" that the retreat was a sign of good will at the time. Since then, Ukraine has had failure after failure and are losing grunts at an alarming pace. This is pathetic. NATO or the EU have no right to drag this on. Trump needs to just stop financing this bullsh1t. Its lamb to slaughter scenes.

The Ukrainians get rid of The Green T-Shirt and negotiate peace. 2. The Russians grind them down to 5 old ladies and a bunch of elementary school kids.

Not at all. The "war" is only in 20% of the nation and its populated by ethnic Russians who would likely not vote for The Green T-Shirt. They could hold elections quite easily. But if they did...The Green T-Shirt and his war would be on the outs. 70% User. The population has had enough of this folly.

The only people who want this pathetic war to continue, is European war-hawks who think they can stand up to Russia...a bad joke if there ever was one...and war-hawks in America. The people who have actual skin in this...the Ukrainian people...overwhelmingly want a peace deal. And you...from the comfort of your home thousands of miles away...want to deny them that.

I cant find a poll newer than February of this year on The Green T-Shirt. But his support has been dropping steadily for a few years now. In May The Green T-Shirt renewed his military takeover by denying a normally scheduled election. As long as this dictator is in power, there will not be peace in Ukraine. Russia has no reason to stop and has wiped out most of Ukraine's electrical grid. Thus the Ukrainian people are in for another bitter winter. If the vast majority of Ukrainians want a peace deal now...why would anyone deny them this?

IMO...any and all "refugees" AND all those fake students, need to be "ICED". Rounded up and sent packing. Canada does not need hundreds of thousands of cling-ons. The "schools" that cater to these "students" need to be shut down and the tax burden of all those "refugees" needs to be eliminated.

Its unfortunate but Alberta may not have another choice. Canada has failed Alberta and all provinces except Ontario and Quebec. They've cowed to those 2 provinces over and over. @Zeitgeist and @paxamericana Boys...none of this has anything to do with democracy. The US democracy is not in decline. Elections happen and are adhered to. Is the US economy in decline? Perhaps. The whole western world is in decline...financially and socially. Question: are the European nation partially responsible for the debt of the US? Of course they are. The US has been carrying Europe since WWII. Have the tariffs been whimsical in their implementation? It does appear that way. But at some point the US had to level the playing field and stop policing the world. Ukraine has little to no value to the US. Hell it has no value to Europe either. Israel has no value to any of us either. The US, Canada and Europe need to pull back their empire building and stop sticking our noses where we have no real stake in matters.
