Wouldn’t it show if there was a “breakthrough” case in the fully vaccinated person?

Can we just agree to name things the best we can for now and let the future society rename it if there is public sentiment to do so in the future? If being an architect of the residential school system isn’t enough to have your name pulled off of a building, what would be the criteria? Nothing ever? Mass murder? One murder? Cattle steeling? Where should the line be drawn in order for someone to have the honour of having a university named after them?

@Goddess You don’t think providing examples of actual transgressions might help the conversation, rather than simply making broad proclamations? -

I didn’t ask if you cared. You stated proper conservatives would build pipelines all over. I’m asking if proper conservatives could ever disagree on pipelines and where they should go. -

Why would they go to the trouble of doing that? -

Do you think a Tory O’Toole would not have been in favour of Northern Gateway, as opposed to the CPC O’Toole? -

Alice, what if they claim that they considered your post to be insulting to other posters and that’s why they deleted it? -

You always refrain from name-calling, do you? -
Has Canada’s death rate gone up from the highs before vaccines were introduced, or down?
-
Sweden has one-sixth of Canada’s population. 15,000 deaths Canada - 27,000 deaths Sweden is “better”? Wouldn’t Canada need to have 90,000 deaths to be on par with Sweden? Are you cherry-picking data that backs your preconceived notions?

You think every voter agrees 100% with the party’s platform that they voted for? So I guess that means evangelical voters agree with the Conservative Party’s stance on keeping abortion legal if they voted for a Conservative? Or do you think someone’s vote is a little more nuanced than that? -

Some jurisdictions (Alberta) seem to fall into that category. Not sure all do though. If they were more effective at restricting the unvaccinated from going to a gym or out for dinner, would you then be in favour? Is that kind of letting perfection be the enemy of the good? We have teenagers check ID for booze. These can also be faked. Should we drop that restriction if it’s not perfect? Faith? No. Isn’t there evidence for their safety and efficacy? If you can’t trust medical experts on these vaccines, why would you ever trust them to give you an x-ray? Or other vaccines? Can you even trust them to mend your broken arm? What’s in that freezing they’re putting in the break? Should I just get a couple sticks and duct tape because I need faith that they won’t kill me with that needle of numbing agent? Is that letting perfection be the enemy of the good once again? -

Do I support means testing for some (many) services? Yes. So not all right wing people think that all social programs are bad? I was hoping you might see why I phrased my question in such a way that asked you if my blanket statement was a fair one… Do you think it’s helpful to make such blanket statements in discussions? Do you actually think all “the left” really want every social program at any cost? -

So your objection is with the vaccine “passports”? So you doubt that vaccines actually are effective? Do you think they are more effective than not getting a vaccine? -
Do you need a link to the ingredients of the vaccines? https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/drugs-health-products/covid19-industry/drugs-vaccines-treatments/vaccines/pfizer-biontech.html#a4 Didn’t you say you have done a lot of research on these?
