Who in their right mind expects anything different when our largest trading partner is in multiple trade wars, including with us? Expect a shrinkage in our economy until we can diversify our economy away from the USA. It’s going to be years of economic pain. This is expected. Carney is headed to China. Expect increased trade with them. Hopefully EVs that meet our current standards.

I am under the impression that he hates what has happened in his country of Canada so much… gay marriage, immigration of minorities, Liberal victories, a guy named Trudeau as PM…. He wants to “own the libs” so badly that he would like to see the country go down the tubes so he can claim it was the fault of the “libs” rather than the country to thrive under a Liberal government and more non-white people here. Where do you think we will get the tax money for aircraft carriers? You think a big GST hike? Massive service cuts? What will get us $6B for a couple aircraft carriers + nuclear subs and a nuclear weapons program that will probably cost about $5B per year? (UK equivalent program)
