Those people are highly overrated. Aren’t they the ones drinking the “watered down swill” as you called it? make up your mind. -
I sure hope so. But I don’t think he is.

The religious fundamentalists don’t need to read between the lines. They just read the bible in plain language to get what they need. -

I don’t think the bible says that. -
It may just fizzle out, but when the king and Queen ignore court orders, violence becomes necessary, or at least justified. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_of_revolution#:~:text=In political philosophy%2C the right, the people without justifiable cause. I don’t think foreigners should join the revolution directly. I’ll smuggle medical supplies across the border, or whatever though. You’re welcome.

Sure. Who goes to “typical bars”? -
This just sounds like whining. Trudeau is to blame for inflation that has hit all over the world? Funny. Well, Trudeau is gone! You and Poilievre are fighting the ghost of Trudeau past! PP has to come up with something substantial, or he will be presiding over the worst election loss in Conservative history, right behind Shear and O’Toole. So? He isn’t Trudeau. If the Cons think he is, they will lose.

When those in power will ignore democratic institutions and the court rulings, what other options exist? I heard a lot from conservatives about 2nd Amendment remedies and revolution as a solution to corrupt governments in America. I guess this might be a test to see how viable those solutions might be? If the Tesla trucks are the things burning, how do you tell if that’s arson or Tesla being Tesla? https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2025/02/report-cybertruck-safety-ford-pinto/ An analysis published Thursday by the auto news website FuelArc found that, in their one year of existence, the approximately 34,000 Cybertrucks on the roads had five fire fatalities, giving them a fatality rate of 14.5 per 100,000 units. That’s 17 times the fatality rate of the Ford Pintos, whose famously flawed gas tank design on the car’s rear end led to 27 reported fire fatalities in its nine years on the road, resulting in a fatality rate of 0.85 per 100,000 units, according to FuelArc.

Why quote something with no context? Weird way to discuss something. Tough to argue with one of Harper’s Conservative strategist’s take on it https://policyoptions.irpp.org/magazines/october-2019/how-effective-are-federal-minority-governments/ Perhaps the largest lesson to be learned from evaluating the contributions of Canada’s minority governments is that it is best not to judge each one’s success until several years have passed. This perspective is essential, because in the moment, an individual government’s achievements can be easily drowned out by over-the-top partisanship, the scandal du jour, the damning report of a public inquiry or the poisonous relationships between political protagonists. Far from being merely interim periods between “normal” majority governments, Canadian minorities have made significant contributions to this country’s development and progress.

Who are you quoting, and why should I care?

You prefer only the party in power making decisions with no cooperation with anyone else? I prefer the minority government situation than Teudeau’s party holding all the levers of power.

What about Ephesians? If you believe that the bible is literal in all cases, then much of science should be tossed, yes. But what about New Testament teachings that condemn homosexuality? 1 Timothy 10. Buddhism has no supernatural gods though. Obviously, Christianity does. Seems like a big difference. Although, if you believe in Buddhism’s celestial beings, I would argue it is no longer atheistic. They’re not worshipped like a god, but they’re part of their teachings.
