  1. Lacking a digital method of cracking some of you in the head with a dead salmon, I have little choice but to call bullshit on bullshit that gets repeated endlessly. Otherwise I can only conclude from a common inability to comprehend facts, allegory, sarcasm or the theme of a (or group of) paragraph(s), that your algorithm simply defaults after 1000 cycles of trying and picks any string of words that has a pre-programmed contrary response to and spits that out.. I'll take you all seriously if you can ever pass a Turing Test.
  2. That's some call for a return to ration and national unity. But MAGAs will all deny that's a call to arms. 10x more blunt and in your face than Jan. 6 to anyone not completely oblivious
  3. Did I say that? I'm only hoping the USA has enough brains to avoid a Second National Brainfart. I mean so many were so dead against a woman President in 2016 they elected a Real C*nt instead. 8 years later he's proven that and added that he's a miserable one to boot.
  4. Retaliatory vengeance first? Every single person in all the forces would be needed to restore power, lights, gas, water & sewer and clear the streets of dead vehicles or they couldn't even move themselves. An actual WW3 is like that old Emperor of Ethiopia - Highly Unlikely. I hope the dumbest person on earth is still smart enough to avoid such a scenario.
  5. Asides from the usual Democrats - leftists - Joe Biden conspiracy shit. Let's put truthfully: Donald is so disgusting a person he was shot by a Republcan. As well as his own SCOTUS stacking ruled if Biden wanted to he could've ordered Seal Team 6 to do it an wouldn't be punished, but unlike Donald he's too decent a human being to ever do anything like that. And sure as hell wouldn't have raised his fist and urged his inflamed supporters to "Fight ON". Want a more credible conspiracy? It was a false flag operation by Project 2025 to try to gain sympathy support.
  6. Hmmm maybe ya'd feel better if they just rented it for $100K a month. And got nothing if they decided to move elsewhere. Better yet top diplomats should live and entertain in tents in a downtown back alley. That would only cost 100 bucks or so of "your tax dollars" .
  7. So you reply to a post that Reason(x) is outdated by repeating Reason(x) again? Great communication skills there bud.
  8. Supposedly... only one way to truly test it though. And entire nations would be hooped rendering their militaries redundant.
  9. Allegory is beyond the mental abilities of a lot of True Believers.
  10. Are you actually surprised? Build it and they will come situation.
  11. For once I agree with you. Because there are far more stupid people out there than at anytime in history.
  12. You don't need to cut cables and launch missiles. ONE good EMP and we're all f^cked. But if that happened no one else can launch missiles or drones at us either, and they still can't cross the Arctic, Atlantic or Pacific unnoticed to invade.
  13. Do some of you people never look when you're outside? Singing the same old 'not enough charging stations' song in 2024 when they're popping up all around you? And dumb enough nor to realize you can charge at home on 110 because you're having dinner, watching tv and then going to bed for 12 hours everyday.
  14. Oh bullshit. Some people MAY vote for a candidate because of their race, but only the stupid vote for that reason ahead of their policy and party. Although using the same stupid reasoning I can assure you many do to vote against a candidates race, I know quite a few people who didn't vote NDP specifically because of Singh's beard and turban, just as I know many indigenous people here who didn't vote Liberal because that candidate was the only native.
  15. For building cars in China and wanting to sell them in the USA. Otherwise Trumps the troglodyte that will scrap the EV mandates and put the US auto industry back another 25 years, which you'd think would screw Elon completely, but leave him as the American EV maker with no competition. Musk is as deceptively self-serving as Trump is.
  16. OMG Dougie93's talking some common sense. It's 2024 and everything defence can be done with sensors, satelites, missiles and drones. And geeks, we need like the 1st Saskatoon Cybergeek Division. Don't need a big fleet of subs or any big ships. And a small Rapid Deployment Force and a few transport ships & cargo planes to move them in. Asides from having a nice large place to train NATO troops, a handful of otherwise useless tanks.
  17. Hmm troops in Latvia mean nothing. The aid to Ukraine means nothing. Our geographic location means nothing. The troops that died in Afghanistan mean nothing. I mean if Trump returns he better boot out Iceland they don't even have an army and their strategic location obviously means sweet f*ck all. And half the country buys the Glorious All Powerful Yank speak of how they've saved us from bogeymen all these years and should be ashamed. I mean think about it, the only country that actually could invade us, that would protect themselves by shooting down incoming missiles and bombers on top of our heads lectures us? Sorry, don't buy that, never have. A few subs to guard the NWP would be ok. If they're prepared to protect the Arctic from the real threat and be ready to torpedo American oil tankers.
  18. The trees that weren't killed by the cold that didn't kill the bugs for decades are burning, there's years of drought in the Great Bear Rain Forest, warm water species are showing up in the N Pacific, great white sharks in Nova Scotia, heat domes, droughts all over, hurricanes in places and numbers we've never seen before and the satellites tell is it's getting warmer year by year but Climate Change isn't real. Must be God's retribution for those Drag Queen Story Hours, eh?
  19. Maybe PP will change that to 12 nuclear subs and satisfy NATO for the next century or so. Or we could ask Tesla to submit bids for the subs.... Funny how everyone's been totally convinced that a country's contribution to NATO is only measured in dollars.
  20. Yeah people like that still exist. As we can see right here with similar prehistoric opinions on other subjects. We have the goody two shoes everywhere. Like IMHO anti tobacco smoking policies are valid and acceptable. My declaration of "wokeness" is when they passed laws that made them put quit smoking aids in cupboards out of sight where no one will notice them with the hidden cigarettes -to 'protect the children'... hiding the vapes because they're just BAD mmm'kay? banning menthols and flavoured vape altogether Now those nicotine pouches must hidden and sold only in Drug Stores with Banker's Hours... Conclusion, they don't really want you to quit smoking cuz they make $12+ a pack in cigarette taxes
  21. We know that. I already said that we did. I commented on your incessant rabid anti-Catholicism not Mt Cashel. Your attempt to defend Paisley even reinforces that opinion. The Catholic interpretation of the Bible is 100% as valid as your own, as is the 100% rejection of the Bible is as valid a philosophy. Got it? The forum is about politics, not Bible study and you're on a continent that believes in the separation of the two.
  22. No you're wrong. MOST people think he's total scum. Problem is if they don't hold their puke and show up to vote for Biden they'll have the most disgusting human possible as President.
  23. Yes, the "Big tent" issue. Conservatives must openly accept every abhorrent group fascists, klansmen, nazis, white supremacists and evengelical zealots into their fold as the "left" don't like them and victory at any cost is what is important. I mean really, stop with all those fringey choices and be like the USA where you can run the most foul, reprehensible criminal as a candidate possible and still possibly win. Silly Brits. [/s]
  24. Oh. He has a degree and did A study. That at best shows a correlation but skips any alternate reasons and common sense. And you believe it as truth because you know or at least heard a candidate was aided by bussing in ethnic supporters unlike non-ethnic ones from a union local, a church congregation or Chamber of Commerce. Well, being involved in my riding I know all the Sikhs here voted NDP but always did for decades before Singh was leader. The Sikhs in the Fraser Valley sure as hell didn't. Just like the white people in Richmond wouldn't vote Christian Heritage if that was the only white candidate running. Talk about playing the victim, you supposed conservatives love to play and "poor white christian hetero male appears to be being denied something" card every time you can.
