Trump chooses dishonour in Europe
herbie replied to herbie's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The contemporary Gang of Four. Hell if they'donly boot Iran out, Trump would proudly join the Axis of Evil too! -
Toronto-Quebec City High-Speed Rail
herbie replied to 500channelsurfer's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Throwing an idea that should've been done 40 years ago now is surprising? Neither is Can'tservatives opposing it for that long. You know this Dec. the SkyTrain will have been running for 40 years? Laggards. -
Trump chooses dishonour in Europe
herbie replied to herbie's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Now that the USA has proven itself to be completely untrustworthy we already have. Simple minded epitome of a capitalist pig running your country thinks he can make decisions for other countries. -
DUI told Greg to F off. Saying that to a site admin will get you booted from any forum. Don't know details of BD but insulting someone isn't a good reason for a ban, otherwise we'd all be banned. Me too, I'll insult anyone who constantly posts lies and repeats shit thinking parroting and repetition makes things true. But I try to insult what you post otherwise.

The free world is in Ukraine today
herbie replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You're talking to a True Trumpalo. Wants other countries to fight necessary wars just like they want other countries to protect their own borders for them. Hell they want other countries to fix their economy as they hide behind tariffs and whine 'everyone else is the problem'. -

Tack on his f*cking blackmail. We 'gave' you aid so you owe it back, soon after his we 'gave' you the Panama canal so we can take it back. Now I;m sure most of you are old enough to remember the nonPC term for what that was called, and now such a scumbag is to be admired? How about the fact they've not announced as single concession Russia needs to make to achieve peace? The Bronze Bozo won't stand up to Putin not out of cowardice but out of envy. He is jealous of the criminal dictatorship Putin's achieved and desires his own. -
Another racist rant by someone thick as a stump. Concluding the money was stopped because nothing was found is bullshit. Nobody's dug up anything because no one's given permission to 'dig up'. That will only come from Bands involved and violating possible burial sites and sacred grounds simply to 'prove' to the white man is unlikely ever to be given. Still carrying the mindset that you can just dig up shit like a 18th century archeologist and haul the goods off to a museum, eh?

The free world is in Ukraine today

Just $5 billion today. From seized Russian assets that your criminal traitor will probably insist we must compensate Russia for. Peak for yourself as the 'arsenal of democracy' becomes the arsehole of democracy. -

Gee Myata you've brought all the destroyers of democracy together. Loyal defenders of the Bronze Buffoon criminal no matter how detestable it reveals them as. -
Cheese: Why no choice? So expensive!
herbie replied to August1991's topic in Canada / United States Relations
About the only one I liked on the West Coast. And one of the best I ever has was Dragon's Breath from a cheese factory in Nova Scotia we toured. A runny blue cheese style. My favourite is Provolone Auricchio (aka Italian wedding cheese) that rots the roof of your mouth right off. Surprised to find a deli in Prince George that stocks it, even more surprised that it was only 10c/100g more than GougeOn sold their no name cheddar for. -
Yeah it's totally insane to expect people with $400 billion to pay taxes when you can hose the kid at Wendys instead. And offering to help you start a business when you should claw yourself up the rocks if Daddy didn't hand it to you is completely unAmerican. Almost as bad as electing someone stupid enough to believe the govt=business mantra of 50 years ago be trusted with fixing the economy that wasn't broken.

Why Canada is screwed and why nobody cares
herbie replied to paxamericana's topic in Canada / United States Relations
We don't need you Europe. We don't need you Asia. We don't need you Canada or Mexico. We don't need any of you. All we need is our cuddly Trumpy Bear... wah wah blubber wah! -
That's why they elected him, the thought of a female President scared the living daylights out of them. So they continue to remain 50 years behind the times socially and politically.

The whole discussion is moot, no party is going to allow you to refuse service to or refuse to hire anyone because of their race, religion or sexual orientation. No one is going to force the posting of the 10 commandments on the school walls, it's far more likely they'll follow Quebec's ban on ALL religious displays in public institutions. And even less likely any party will indulge in such petty crap like making laws on who sporting organizations may choose to have on their team. No one's going to end abortion. No one's going to restrict anyone's right to vote or run for office. Or anyone's right to due process of law. Or bring back capital punishment or the right to appeal. Get with it, it's the economy, stupid. And no one's going to change the free enterprise system so much that your right to start or run a business is seriously impaired. One the same subject no one is guarantee you the right to make the maximum profit either.

The 1910s? Mussolini, Putin, Mao, Hitler? - not the 1930s
herbie replied to August1991's topic in The Rest of the World
Your post is so far off it's insane. We're not in anyway entangled in the Imperial desires of monarchs but a perversion of Post WW2 competition of two differing economic systems. We're stuck in a competition between 2 oligarchs and their fixation on imagined glories of the past.
