  1. Ya, give them a state in the middle of the country that tried to exterminate them. That would do wonders for their sense of security. Cyprus would be good. Isolated in the middle of the Med, nowhere to expand and make new enemies. It would still p--s off the locals so that would be the same.
  2. Deaths per million population. Canada 1405 Sweden 2409 Worldometer
  3. Western military intervention in the Middle East since the first Gulf War has been a disaster, breeding groups like ISIS.
  4. This will go down with other conspiracy theories like the Bush government was in on 9/11. Yes, there has never been such a thing as the country of Palestine.
  5. Only one has been tried and executed. Charles I in 1649. The English Civil War was between the divine right of kings and the supremacy of Parliament. Parliament won and that hasn't changed even though the monarchy was restored. The English decided they wanted a parliamentary democracy but not a republic. The last one to die in battle was Richard III in 1485 which ended the Wars of the Roses. Trump doesn't believe in anything but Trump.
  6. I think all countries have codes that other Nato countries aren't privy too. We are obligated to share intelligence with 5 Eyes countries but not every other Nato country unless it is a threat to that country.
  7. You are an enabling fool. Keep watching RT.
  8. That still is no reason to invade a sovereign country and bomb the crap out of its civilians. You seem fine with the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and all the countries of the former Austro Hungarian Empire going their way but see no problem with Putin destroying Ukraine to resurrect the Russian Empire.
  9. The Japanese took great pains to keep Pearl Harbour secret, including total radio silence once the ships left. Pearl Harbour was also thought to be too shallow for a torpedo attack but the Japanese had studied the British attack on Taranto the year before. The Americans did know something was up but not the details. Japan also attacked the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore and several other islands on the same day. The British also warned Stalin about Germany attacking but didn't want to reveal their source which was Ultra. Stalin chose not to believe it. Things are much clearer after the fact when you can string a bunch of things together that seemed unrelated at the time.
  10. I'm not talking about Hamas, the sooner they are gone the better. There are two million others living there.
  11. Your solution is to wipe the Palestinians out, Mr guy who is so concerned about the loss of life in Ukraine as the Russians repeatedly bomb civilians? Spare me the hypocritical BS.
  12. No it isn’t.
  13. Maybe but it's amazing what kind of conclusions people will come to based on what they don't know.
  14. Bet none of the prisoners who were freed are complaining.
  15. The Yom Kippur attack was also a complete surprise to the Israelis. This isn't the first time they were caught by surprise. Oct 6 was the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War. They may have known something was going to happen but not when and where.
  16. I'm surprised as well. If you don't plug in your PHEV you might as well save a bunch of money and just buy a regular hybrid.
  17. Also because of Arab countries (and Iran) wanting to use Palestinians as a tool to eradicate Israel.
  18. We always want the shiny new toy and neglect what we already have. Seems to be human nature.
  19. Well, it would certainly cramp your style. Freedom of speech can also have consequences.
  20. Gaza is the third most populated area on earth and has been called an open air prison. Desperate people are fertile ground for groups like Hamas.
