  1. Is that why you all invest so much south of the border. Not only money but apparently free thought.
  2. So the Albertan are going to pay for Ontario and Quebec’s retirement out of the kindness of their heart all while becoming destitute together with their much larger provinces? I think not. The fact that Alberta hasn’t left Canada is what’s surprising. It’s going to happen eventually, it may not be soon but the math leads to one conclusion.
  3. Okay and? That makes us different from Canadians how? You do realize there’s not a lot of differences between our two countries yeah? A lot of people also have families on both sides of the border and share common ancestry with the pioneering settlers… The prairie provinces and the Great Plains state as an example. I would argue the same holds true for both costal provinces of Canada. No, what’s illogical is having an arbitrary border that makes the people living north some how not Americans.
  4. Look, the only people who are obsessed with Trump's reproductive organs and behavior are the TDS folks. How pitiful and comical.
  5. There are varying degrees of TDS but it can not be ignored. Many radicalized people are throwing their life away just to try and get at Trump. Just as we have done to deter religious fanaticism, the same must be done to the anti-Trump crowd. When political protest manifest into violent extremism something wrong is happening and we can no longer ignore that.
  6. Oh I wouldn’t say that. Similar events have unfolded. Alberta will secede from Canada and claim independence, Canada will probably refuse to recognize said independence forcing Alberta to petition for statehood.
  7. As soon as Alberta 51st, the rest of Canada will fall like dominos. I knew this would happened , just didn’t know what kind of clown show it was going to take. Turns out pulling the wool over Canadian eyes is as easy as telling them their worse nightmare, becoming Americans.
  8. What’s all this talk about again? Canada is up for sale? Ah I see that’s not a bad idea. America goes in and buys you all out. This is progressing faster than I anticipated.
  9. Gotten NATO deadbeats to up their defense spending so you’re welcome. 1) fake news 2) Canada is begging to be annexed, asking the Albertans to pay for your patch work for hatred isn’t going to work for them or for you. We will annex Alberta and Saskatchewan. It’s only a matter of time. As soon as that happens the rest of Canada falls into fourth world status and will all petition for statehood. 3)also fake news 4) fake news as well
  10. World currency reserve status remember? Means I can print Monopoly money. Sure but we’re still the first choice in immigration destination and will remain so for the foreseeable future. Don’t mistake a firm grip for a stable grip. Only one man has to die and the entire rotten structure comes crashing down. In China’s case that’s happened oh about 26 times already. And it wasn’t pretty, we’re talking canibals.
  11. I wouldn’t gloat, Canada is finding that out now for Canada’s fate is tied to America. How long before One Child means national dissolution? They’ve been doing it for 3 generations now. China is already as powerful as it will ever be!
  12. Trump isn’t complicated, he speaks his mind on what he wants for America. Build here and no tariff. That’s the MAGA stance. I understand why you’re all upset, it’s a threat to your lively hood internationally. So invest here lol. You can’t go wrong by betting on the US economy. Unless you want to bet on Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, China and Russia just to “elbows up!”
  13. We needed a change. The old calculus of subsidizing deadbeat countries doesn’t hold true in today’s geopolitical reality. It’s not justified from an economic or security standpoint. So what else is there other than the “goodwill” you all claim America is losing.
  14. Short term pain, long term gain. Not for the same reason you’re thinking. We anticipate the Chinese going away this decade for demographic retirement reasons alone. So we would have to rebuild that industrial capacity anyways. Yes that level of capital expenditure is inflationary and even more so when borrowing cost is as high as it is. But we have no other choice. Reshoring is baked in because Europe and Asia aged out. Demographic is destiny.
  15. I’ll challenge that. It seems that the liberal democracies like Canada has devolved into nothing more than ideotic mob rule. Elbows up more please! Courage doesn’t mean popular, that’s leadership.
  16. Wut?! We are the market lol. Us is not an exporter lmao
  17. The US didn’t always have a rosy relationship with the UK but we were never acrimoniously separated. Canada though…. You all seem to not understand that and got your self a 25% tariff for transshipping chinesium.
  18. The UK is poised to mend relationship with America after Starmer’s debacle. “I know him well, I’ve known him for years,” he said. “He’s a brave man, and he’s a great man. They would absolutely be a positive.” - King Charles https://www.cnn.com/2026/04/27/world/king-charles-us-state-visit-intl
  19. The next race isn’t cars. And it’s definitely not electric cars for numerous reasons. It’s semiconductors, the US currently holds the edge on advanced semiconductor technology and manufacturing. The Chinese are acutely aware.
  20. Just gota figure out what to do with the deadbeats, can’t leave them mucking about on their own for too long though. They’ll nuke each other if left to their own devices. The American strongman is a global necessity and that’s just needs to be accepted by everyone.
  21. What threat? Turning you all into Americans? That’s what you’re afraid of? The Canadian kryptonite? Admitting that you’re Americans? Tell you what, we’ll sweeten the deal, admit that you’re American formally and you get to have unlimited access to our market and vote in our elections increased your currency value to world reserve status overnight and guaranteed protection from the greatest fighting force in the history of mankind. Yeah thought so.
  22. Only since 2010, Canada and much of Europe went below replacement fertility in the 70s. That’s the difference.
  23. This is where most people get it wrong. This isn’t a one off, a Trump issue. The demographic picture has shifted, there is no longer a burgeoning supply of young people to support a consumption based economy in the developed world. That has implication for security as well as economic. Our wealth and security is underpinned by our children and that’s the reason why the western world is in a managed declined. That is other than America since our Baby boomers did have children. Yours didn’t.
  24. So what was JFK then ... Are you highlighting how similar Canada is to America because that's where the facts lay. I find the Canadian reflex to being American comical. Grasp at straws all you want but at the end of the day, we live on the same Continent have the same ancestor and families across the border. You know what that makes Canadians, North AMERICANS
