I assume you're talking about Trump and his MAGA supporters. You seem to be on a different wavelength. You are confused. I am not advocating Trump or anything to do with him. That has nothing at all to do with what I am telling you. Nothing to do with the Bible telling us all are fallen corrupt sinners and need to be born again. You ignore the Bible (KJV) at your own peril. The Bible and salvation has nothing to do with Trump or politics. "23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; " Romans 3:23-25 KJV

Not exactly sure what you mean. Man migrated to many parts of the world over time. The Bible is a spiritual book. You cannot understand it by natural man thinking. You must ask God to give you a spiritual mind. It cannot be discerned by the spirit of the world. You can only know the things of God by the Spirit of God.

Just another reason Canada is 62 billion dollars in debt. "Over 2015-2021, the Government of Canada delivered $2.65 billion in international climate finance to developing countries. Canada’s climate finance commitment prioritized climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts, the mobilization of private sector capital for climate action, and the provision of support to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) institutions and mechanisms." Canada’s $2.65 Billion International Climate Finance Commitment - Canada.ca However, this report doesn't say how much they gave from 2021 to 2025. Could be billions of dollars more. " Canada announces $450 million for the Green Climate Fund, the world’s largest dedicated climate change fund From: Environment and Climate Change Canada News release July 12, 2023 – Brussels, Belgium Today, ahead of the seventh Ministerial on Climate Action (MoCA7), the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, on behalf of the Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of International Development and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada, announced a $450 million contribution to the second replenishment of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the world’s largest dedicated climate change fund and a critical funding mechanism of the Paris Agreement. This contribution is a 50 percent increase from Canada’s 2019 pledge to the GCF’s first replenishment. This funding, which is a part of Canada’s $5.3 billion climate finance commitment, will directly support developing countries’ clean energy transitions and climate-resilient sustainable development as more extreme climate impacts are being felt around the globe. Through its contribution to the GCF, Canada is helping lead the clean energy transition and meet the 1.5 degrees Celsius climate target. Funding announced today could, for example, enable the advancement of clean and renewable energy projects in Indonesia and across the Southeast Asia region, aiding countries as they drive transition from coal-fired power. Helping achieve this transition is a key element of Canada’s support for the region as part of its Indo-Pacific Strategy. Following the adoption of the Kunming-Montréal Global Biodiversity Framework, Canada welcomes the GCF’s leadership in supporting developing countries’ actions to conserve, restore and protect nature and biodiversity. In 2022, Minister Guilbeault and Jennifer Morgan, German State Secretary and Special Envoy for International Climate Action, published the Climate Finance Delivery Plan Progress Report, which outlines the steps contributors are taking to meet the goal this year, and are continuing the dialogue with other countries to ensure their commitments are upheld. " Canada announces $450 million for the Green Climate Fund, the world’s largest dedicated climate change fund - Canada.ca Can we expect this kind of spending to continue if Carney wins? Yes, I think we can. The reason is because he was a key figure in the U.N. climate change war and other international organizations. He has been a committed fighter against climate change. This should make all the Greta Thunberg followers happy. They could care less about the economy and the damage to their country as long as they think everything is being put into the their war on climate change. Incidentally I don't believe man can control the climate and Canada's emissions are miniscule compared with China and the rest of the world.

Yes, God has chosen to give man revelation in two ways: 1. By nature we observe God's creation. 2. By his special revelation, we read or hear his written word, in English, the King James Bible. Only this written word gives us the gospel of Jesus Christ and how to avoid hell and go to heaven for eternity.
-
Big difference between animals and humans. "26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. " Genesis 1:26-28 KJV As you can see God created man in his image. Not physically, but in a certain sense, with the powers of reason for one thing and with a soul and a spirit. So man is a special creation of God. God loves man and that's why God created man as his image. That is why we should not think of man as just another animal. We are not an animal. We have been given a soul that will live forever. We have also been given free will to decide whether we will believe God as he has spoken to us in his written revelation. Then he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, because God loves us and he offers in return eternal life if we will believe on his Son and accept him as our Lord and Savior. "16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. {reproved: or, discovered} 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. " John 3:16-21 KJV

We can see the world is divided between two classes of people. Those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and are part of God's kingdom and those who do not, but are deceived by the prince of the power of the air, the Devil otherwise known as Satan. He has a vast army who follow him as well, called demons. Those who are deceived are still in an unregenerate state (spiritually dead) and need to be born again according to the gospel of John. I try to be patient and explain what this is all about. Read the New Testament with an open mind and you will learn the details and hopefully become born again.
-
I am not disagreeing with that idea. There is truth in it. But the reason human nature (or as you put it, our intelligence) has a tendency to lie is because of the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. They were our first parents and therefore we inherited the fallen, corrupt nature. That includes the tendency to lie. On top of that, there are demons who are at work deceiving people. We should realize there is a material world in which we live and there is a spiritual unseen world as well. Turn to God in Jesus Christ and ask him to reveal these things to you in his written revelation, in English, the King James Bible/Authorized Version. If you become born again by faith in Jesus Christ, you will not be totally under the control of these demonic beings. God is far more powerful than Satan and his demons. You can even download the King James Bible. Search for it, download it and install it and you can refer to it anytime and read it as much as you like. There are free copies available on the internet. Of course it is wise to have a hard copy of the Bible. Amazon is a good source. But be sure it is the King James Bible; modern versions are corrupt.

Sounds a bit like you have been deceived by the Prince of Liars, Satan, also called a serpent in Genesis 3. Seriously, I would recommend you start studying the King James Bible, which was originally written by the prophets and apostles that God inspired. It is full of evidence that it was inspired by God. It is no fairy tale. I have often heard that claim by people who are spiritually dead. You need to seek the truth from God, not from the Prince of this world, the Devil. He will deceive you as long as he can and try to get you to accept his lies. Read the gospel of John and learn how Jesus Christ is God and died for our sins. He was crucified and three days later rose from the dead. He was then seen by many eye witnesses proving he is who he said he is. All of the apostles died as martyrs, except for one, the Apostle John, for what they witnessed when they saw Jesus Christ. Do you really think they would have died for a lie or fairy tale? Of course not. "10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. " 1 John 1:10-13 KJV

Interesting. Do you know Satan was the one that twisted the truth a little bit when he deceived Eve in the garden of Eden? Satan is the father of lies. He has deceived the world. Let's turn back to look at what God's inspired, preserved word tells us about that first deception of our first parents in the book of Genesis. First God created everything and then created man and woman. {moveth: Heb. creepeth} " Genesis 1:26-28 King James Bible "15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. {the man: or, Adam} " Genesis 2:15 KJV "16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: {thou…: Heb. eating thou shalt eat} 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Genesis 2:16 KJV " 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. {made: Heb. builded} 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. {Woman: Heb. Isha} {Man: Heb. Ish} 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. " Genesis 2:21-25 KJV Here is the crux of the story. This is how Satan deceived Eve. He changed the wording of what God said, in effect contradicting what God had said. "1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? {Yea…: Heb. Yea, because, etc.} 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. " Genesis 3:1-5 KJV You see how the serpent (Satan) contradicted what God had said? Eve fell for the lie and ate the forbidden fruit and gave some to her husband, Adam, and he ate also.

Sadly you do not understand how government's primary role is to maintain law and order and good government. The Liberals get a failing grade for the ten years they have held power. Now we may be about to see a continuation of that. Sad but true. Many, such as yourself, do not see the harm done to Canada by the Liberals. Tragic.
-
You are blind or must be some kind of cult follower of Liberals. That is the only rational explanation I can see. I posted the long list of ethics scandals under Trudeau which his caucus and cabinet never opposed but continued their enthusiastic support of him. Not to mention the cost of living crisis, the housing crisis, the drug deaths, and the crime crisis under the Liberals. Thanks for all that. You are part of the problem.
-
After ten years of harm caused by Trudeau and the Liberals, you want a continuation of that kind of Liberal government. Sounds kind of insane. Did you read the long list of ethics violations by Trudeau in his ten years. Did you not notice the cities are full of homeless street people living in tents. Did you not notice the soft-on-crime or the Liberal's catch and release bail and parole system is causing great harm to businesses and ordinary people. People fear walking on the streets because they may be stabbed to death. A 92 year old man in downtown Vancouver was assaulted by a mob of criminals and died recently. This kind of thing is common. Liberals screwed Canada, created the housing crisis, the high cost of living, brought in a million immigrants in a couple years, made our health care system worse and squandered billions of dollars. You will get more of the same with Carney and the same old Liberals who are behind him. They are the same group that worked for Trudeau. Don't expect anything different.
-
So Carney says he will hire more police officers. The Liberals solution to the catch and release justice system is do next to nothing. He said nothing about fixing the bail or parole system that is allowing dangerous offenders back out on the street. The repeat offenders can just walk into stores and load up on merchandise and walk out. They don't even bother covering their faces any more because they know the consequences are nothing if they are caught. Hard to believe but some have been caught dozens and dozens of times and just released. Carney will do nothing about it. The Liberals and the Supreme Court are the two main causes of the crime problems. Liberals will not try to change or fight the Supreme Court. Perhaps the not-withstanding clause could be used or a national emergency declaration against crime. It certainly fits the definition of an emergency more than the Ottawa occupation and trucker's protest. There is a sharp contrast between Carney's solution to the crime in Canada and the Pierre Poilievre's plan to stop the crime by three strikes and you're out, stop the catch and release, and stop the easy bail and parole system.
-
Just saw on the news this evening the police raided a drug lab house in the greater Vancouver area and arrested two men. It appeared the men were released the same day. I thought a drug lab produces enough fentanyl to kill thousands of people. Yet the judges release these people immediately as if this were a very minor offence. In China people get capital punishment for dealing in drugs. In Canada under the Liberals, they get a slap on the wrist.

In addition to what I said above, you should realize 37,000 people donated to the Conservative Party and thousands donate to the other parties. But Elections Canada regulations state an individual can only donate a maximum of $1750 to a local candidate's election campaign. Donations are not allowed from unions or companies. So if even a group of pro-India supporters donated $1750 each, that would only amount to a few thousand dollars if it was three or four people. Every party is under the same Elections Canada rules. The Conservative Party has millions of dollars from donations. A few thousand from a particular group is insignificant. I'm sure the Sikh Khalistan supporters also donate to the Liberal party, but these groups exist and have a right to donate if they wish. But their donations are only a tiny drop in the bucket. So in the overall scheme of things, the reporting of a so-called pro-India group helping the Conservatives is a gross exaggeration and therefore a lie.
-
Lying? This is not "reporting on pro-India groups helping PP get elected". Did you actually read the OP? Some pro India individual made a donation to the Conservative campaign out of 37,000. This is nothing unusual. Thousands of people donate to the Liberal and NDP campaign as well.. So what? Nobody knows anything about donors unless an investigation is made somehow. I am sure if the Conservatives could investigate every donor to the NDP and Liberals they would find all kinds of questionable groups or donors behind the names. That's just how democracy works in a free country. Donors are not screened and their connections are not investigated. It would not be practical or possible to investigate every donor to a political party. But of course Liberals can hire investigators if they want to dig up some perceived faults with the opposition, but it is all just fakery. How many Sikh Khalistan separatist radicals donate and vote for the Liberals? Probably thousands.

Really? If a Prime Minister to be has a millions of dollars invested in a place like China, and it is now put in a so-called blind trust, are you saying it is "moot" or has no bearing on his job as a PM? What if he becomes PM and has to make governing decisions that could affect his investments in some particular country? "When a prime minister puts investments in a trust, it means they have to divest controlled assets by selling them or putting them into a blind trust within 120 days of taking office14. The blind trust is managed by a trustee who does not own the prime minister's assets but has the legal authority to manage and sell them3. However, some argue that a blind trust is a sham facade that does not prevent financial conflicts of interest5. How can it not be a conflict of interest if the investments are still invested in the same places they were before he put them in a so-called blind trust? If the investments are now managed by a trustee, where does it say anywhere that the investments are moved to some other country or some other type of investment? A blind trust appears to mean only that the trustee has the authority or manage and sell them. However, it does not say that the investments are moved somewhere else. Since we are in an election it is wise to review the ethics violations of the previous government. This should play a major factor in helping decide who to vote for in this election. How a government performed in its previous terms is of course a major factor on whether they should deserve the right to form the next government. " RIGHT DISHONOURABLE: Scandals that defined the Trudeau era Here's a list of some of the more notable goofs, scandals and blunders that defined the Trudeau era Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s nearly decade-long time in office was defined by a regular stream of scandals, faux pas and controversies — many of which brought the PM to his knees but, against all odds, managed to maintain the confidence of his party. While this list doesn’t cover everything, here’s a sampling of some of the biggest blunders, goofs and scandals committed by the PM and his government over the past 10 years." CASH-FOR-ACCESS SCANDAL (2016) In Dec. 2016, The Globe and Mail reported pricey Liberal Party cash-for-access events held at homes of wealthy Chinese-Canadians, charging attendees as much as $1,525 each in exchange for one-on-one time with the PM. AGA KHAN AFFAIR (2016) Among the first defining scandals of Trudeau’s administration was the PM’s infamous eight-day 2016 Christmas vacation at the Aga Khan’s private island in The Bahamas. While the PMO concealed the trip from public view, the story — broken by the National Post — was later confirmed, touching off an ethics investigation that saw Trudeau become the first PM in Canadian history found guilty of ethics breaches. ELBOWGATE (2016) Trudeau’s attempt to manhandle the Conservative whip during a vote resulted in a female MP being elbowed in the chest, prompting a flurry of apologies from the PM. During an attempt to delay a third-reading vote on an assisted dying bill on May 18, 2016, Trudeau grabbed Conservative Whip Gord Brown by the arm to lead him away from MPs gathered on the floor of the House of Commons. INDIA TRIP (2018) Among the more memorable blunders from the Trudeau era was the infamous 2018 state visit to India, which saw the PM — still riding high in popularity both at home and around the world — engage in some embarrassing behaviour. Despite being invited by Indian PM Narendra Modi, Trudeau and his family were greeted at the airport by an agricultural minister. Among invitees to a state dinner during Trudeau’s visit were Sikh extremist Jaspar Atwal — one of four people convicted in a 1986 plot to murder Indian cabinet minister Malkiat Singh Sidhu. Seemingly unwilling to settle on locally-produced food, the government paid over $17,000 to fly Canadian celebrity chef Vikram Vij to India from Vancouver to prepare food for the PM and his entourage at a number of events. KOKANEE GROPE (2018) In June 2018, a screenshot of a two-decade old editorial published in a local B.C. newspaper accused Trudeau of “groping” and “inappropriately handling” a reporter sent to cover the August 2000 Kokanee Summit Festival on behalf of the National Post. The event was a fundraiser commemorating Trudeau’s brother Michel, killed by a 1998 avalanche while skiing in Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park. SNC LAVALIN AFFAIR (2019) Among the most notable Trudeau scandals began with a February 2019 Globe and Mail article alleging attempts to waylay prosecution in a corruption case involving Quebec-based construction giant SNC-Lavalin, now known as AtkinsRealis. That article went to print shortly after former cabinet member Jody Wilson-Raybould was demoted from Justice Minister to Veteran’s Affairs after reportedly refusing requests to offer deferred prosecution to the company, sparing the firm a conviction that would ban it from bidding on government contracts for a decade. WE CHARITY SCANDAL (2020) The Trudeau government’s April 2020 decision to enlist WE — an international children’s charity founded by brothers Craig and Marc Kielburger — to operate their $912 million Canada Student Service Grant program touched off a scandal that, once again, put the PM in the middle of yet another situation involving questionable ethics. BLACKFACE (2019) A bombshell during the 2019 federal election saw Trudeau come face-to-face with allegations he’d darkened his skin to act as racist caricatures on numerous occasions. THE FREEDOM CONVOY (2022) The Trudeau government’s handling of the Freedom Convoy, one of the largest protest mobilizations in Canadian history, came under intense criticism. THE TRIPS Aside from the infamous India trip, the Trudeau era is marked with numerous questionable uses of government money and aircraft for excursions both local and abroad — including 2015’s trip to COP21, where $800,000 was spent to send 283 delegates to the Paris summit. The United States, in contrast, only sent 124 delegates. “Nothing says saving the planet like posing for pictures as you dine on the taxpayer dime in France,” the CTF’s Kris Sims told the Sun. OTHER NOTABLE SCANDALS/FAUXS PAS: 2017: Trudeau makes his infamous “Welcome to Canada” tweet, which touched off a wave of illegal entries into Canada at illegal border crossings — most notoriously at Roxham Rd. on the Quebec/New York state border 2018: Arrest and subsequent detention of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou at Vancouver airport on a U.S. extradition request, a move that would result in the summary arrest of Canadians Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig by the Chinese government. They would be released after 1,019 days in detention on Sept. 24, 2021, the same day Canada released Meng from custody 2017-2021: Appointment, and subsequent resignation, of Governor General Julie Payette 2019: Vice-Adm. Mark Norman affair 2020: Bill C-11, the controversial Online Streaming Act, is tabled in the House of Commons 2020: The infamous May 2020 order-in-council summarily banning thousands of semi-automatic firearms is introduced 2020: Questionable response to COVID-19 pandemic, including bungling disbursement of support money, vaccine mandates and questionable vaccine procurement 2020: ArriveCan scandal, where an $80,000 pandemic-era travel app ballooned into costing nearly $60M, and raised questions surrounding how government contracts get handed out 2021: Gen. Jonathan Vance affair 2021: Government tables bill C-21, its far-reaching and contentious gun control legislation 2021: Trudeau and cabinet abstaining from China Uighurs genocide vote 2021: A mansion belonging to property developer Wei Wei is raided by police as part of an underground gambling investigation in July 2020. Toronto Life Magazine later revealed that Wei had attended pricey Liberal party fundraisers and posed with photos with Trudeau, and was a member of a Chinese industry delegation that had connections to million-dollar donations to the Trudeau Foundation 2022: Media reports reveal the Trudeau Liberals had paid billions in consultancy fees during their time in office, including over $110 million to McKinsey & Company 2022: The Liberals and NDP sign their infamous supply and confidence agreement that would protect the minority Liberals from being toppled by non-confidence votes. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh publicly tore up the agreement last September, but kept supporting the government 2023: Media reports uncover the scale and scope of Chinese interference in Canadian affairs, including allegations of meddling in the 2019 and 2021 federal elections and threats to Canadian politicians. The PMO was given reports from intelligence officials on the meddling as early as 2017, including warnings that candidates may be part of Chinese interference attempts, but allegedly ignored the warnings 2023: The federal government announces attempts to recoup the $112,000 anti-racism grant awarded to a group associated with activist Laith Marouf, who routinely posted antisemitic material on social media 2024: Global Affairs Canada purchases $9 million condo in Manhattan for consul general 2024: Randy Boissonnault implosion — including pandemic-era federal contracts granted to a company he co-owned, and changing stories on his supposed Indigenous background 2024: Sustainable Development Technology Canada program, better known as the “green slush fund” scandal For more details about scandals: RIGHT DISHONOURABLE: Scandals that defined the Trudeau era | Toronto Sun

Why don't we see Carney explaining where his investments are and the exact details about them? He wants to be PM. So shouldn't the people have a right to know what his conflicts of interest might be?
-
The federal government has the power to override the supreme court which is a bunch of Liberals. The feds could apply the not-withstanding clause to enforce the new laws. Stop the crime. If the SCC and Liberals won't do it, they should be thrown out and a government that will protect the people elected.

Why lie? There have been lots of details about solutions available on the internet and the media about what Conservatives would do if elected. " Poilievre will pass a “Three-Strikes-And-You’re-Out” law to keep dangerous criminals behind bars longer and bring home safe streets. Sault Ste. Marie, ON — Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre announced today that he will end the Liberal wave of violent crime by passing a Three-Strikes-and-You’re-Out Law. This law will stop criminals convicted of three serious offences from getting bail, probation, parole or house arrest, and keep violent criminals behind bars longer to keep them away from their victims and off our streets. Poilievre will make sure that three-time serious criminals get a minimum prison term of 10 years and up to a life sentence. They will also be designated as Dangerous Offenders, meaning they cannot be released until they prove they are no longer a danger. The only way for these repeat serious criminals to obtain their freedom will be through spotless behaviour and clean drug tests during a lengthy minimum prison sentence, with earned release dependent on improving themselves and their life opportunities, such as by learning a trade or upgrading their education. “We will lock up the worst violent offenders longer and make sure they are not released as long as they pose a danger to our society,” said Poilievre. “Hug-a-thug, catch-and-release policies have destroyed our once-safe towns and cities. Only Conservatives will take violent crime seriously and do what it takes to get it under control.” As a result of the Lost Liberal Decade, violent crime has skyrocketed by 50 percent, while gun crime is up 116 percent. Gang homicides have soared by 78 percent, and extortion and auto theft are up 357 percent and 46 percent, respectively. We can’t afford a fourth Liberal term under a weak leader like Mark Carney, who won’t take the bold action necessary to stop the crime and chaos in our streets. This crime wave was no accident. The Liberals introduced radical catch-and-release policies like Bill C-5, which allows some of the worst offenders to serve their sentences at home, and Bill C-75, which lets rampant criminals go free within hours of their arrest. The result has been a disaster for Canadian communities. In Saskatchewan in 2022, Myles Sanderson went on a spree, killing 11 people and injuring 17 more. Sanderson was out on “statutory release” after 59 prior convictions for assault, robbery, mischief and uttering threats. FIFTY. NINE. CONVICTIONS. If he had been kept in jail where he belonged, those 11 precious Canadians would still be alive. Last year, investigators in Peel Region made 18 arrests in connection with a string of home invasions, armed robberies and carjackings, with over $1.2 million worth of stolen vehicles recovered. Of the 18, half were out on bail. In Vancouver, police had to arrest the same 40 offenders 6,000 times. And in 2022, 256 people were charged with homicide while out on release. “Not only will Common Sense Conservatives repeal the Liberal catch-and-release laws, we will carry out the biggest crackdown on crime in Canadian history,” said Pierre Poilievre. Mark Carney will keep Liberal soft-on-crime laws. As Justin Trudeau’s advisor, he supported the Liberal Party as they let crime run rampant in our streets. As Liberal leader, his first move was to appoint David Lametti–-the same minister who was responsible for Trudeau’s soft-on-crime laws–-as his senior advisor. And his hand-picked candidate in Victoria wants to “defund” and “disarm” the police. Only a new Conservative government will stop the crime, lock up dangerous criminals, and give repeat violent offenders jail, not bail. Only Conservatives will bring home safe streets for law-abiding Canadians–For a Change. Only Conservatives will put Canada First–For a Change. unquote Poilievre to Crack Down on Liberal Violent Crime Wave with ‘Three-Strikes-And-You’re-Out’ Law - Conservative Party of Canada We know Carney has said nothing about what he would do about the soft-on-crime policies and practices in the past ten years. Why is that? The answer is obvious. He won't change things. He has had lots of opportunity to tell what he would do. Other Liberal MPs are silent also and say nothing about it.

Just saw on the news this evening that a man who drove his car deliberately into a home to invade their home and put a chain around the husband's neck, threatened to kill him was released by a judge with conditions after two weeks in custody. This is the kind of thing that Liberals think is fine. Catch and release dangerous offenders and put society in danger. They trust that a dangerous offender like this will follow the long list of conditions and not harm anyone else. How often have they been wrong? Countless times.
