Henry VIII was a very insignificant part of the Reformation. It was far bigger than one man in the UK. But RCs will make a big issue out of Henry VIII wanting a divorce as if that was what it was all about. Far from the truth. The fact is the RCC was full of corruption and false teaching and had nothing to do with Christianity. Encyclopedia Britannica says this: "Martin Luther claimed that what distinguished him from previous reformers was that while they attacked corruption in the life of the church, he went to the theological root of the problem—the perversion of the church’s doctrine of redemption and grace. Luther, a pastor and professor at the University of Wittenberg, deplored the entanglement of God’s free gift of grace in a complex system of indulgences and good works. In his Ninety-five Theses, he attacked the indulgence system, insisting that the pope had no authority over purgatory and that the doctrine of the merits of the saints had no foundation in the gospel. Here lay the key to Luther’s concerns for the ethical and theological reform of the church: Scripture alone is authoritative (sola scriptura) and justification is by faith (sola fide), not by works. While he did not intend to break with the Catholic church, a confrontation with the papacy was not long in coming. In 1521 Luther was excommunicated; what began as an internal reform movement had become a fracture in western Christendom. Huldrych ZwingliHuldrych Zwingli, oil portrait by Hans Asper, 1549. The Reformation movement within Germany diversified almost immediately, and other reform impulses arose independently of Luther. Huldrych Zwingli built a Christian theocracy in Zürich in which church and state joined for the service of God. Zwingli agreed with Luther in the centrality of the doctrine of justification by faith, but he espoused a different understanding of the Holy Communion. Luther had rejected the Catholic church’s doctrine of transubstantiation, according to which the bread and wine in Holy Communion became the actual body and blood of Christ. According to Luther’s notion, the body of Christ was physically present in the elements because Christ is present everywhere, while Zwingli claimed that entailed a spiritual presence of Christ and a declaration of faith by the recipients." Guess you don't recall or are not old enough to remember Premier W.A.C. Bennet with the Social Credit Party and people like Jim Pattison built B.C. into a thriving prosperous province. They built great highways and really believed in private enterprise which built everything. Much different than the mess we have today with the BC NDP and their massive debt and blocking resource development and mills shutting down.

Actually Henry VIII was a small part of the overall Reformation. I have heard Catholics taught the fake story that it was all caused by Henry VIII wanting a divorce. That is only a tiny part of what happened. Catholics are not told the real story. The Reformation was a return to Biblical Christianity rather than the top down dictatorial system of Rome that lasted for more than a millennium. The Reformation was something that stretched over one or two centuries across northern Europe and the UK. The UK decided not to continue being under the authority and exploitation of Rome. So they took control of the monasteries and stopped Rome from all of its control over everything. Same thing happened in Germany and parts of the Netherlands. This was not a chip in the "Rock of Christianity". The Reformation was a return to the ancient Apostolic Christianity in places where it was embraced. The belief in the freedom of religion and individual freedom was embraced rather than having everything dictated from the clergy and higher powers in Rome. The Reformation mottos were Sola Fide (by faith alone), Sola Scriptura (by Scripture alone as the final authority), and Sola gratia (by God's grace alone).

Actually, prior to the Reformation in the 1500s in Europe, there was no freedom of opinion. Your church, the RCC, dominated all thought and opinion and beliefs. Everyone was required to submit to Rome or else face the Inquisition, torture, punishment and even death. Now you pretend that never happened when in fact your freedom you have today came about as a result of the Reformation and break away from the totalitarianism of Rome. Freedom of religion, belief, and speech are a direct result of the Reformation in Europe. However, using that freedom to try to eliminate all Biblical religious beliefs from schools, politics, and any public discussion has gone too far. Now we have the corruption of the family structure and society as a result.

Turning away from Biblical truth has resulted in the decay of society in some significant ways. The following may be true in one sense. "As religious influence over societal norms has declined, people have gained more control over their own lives, particularly in areas like marriage, family structure, and education. For example, secularization has allowed for the acceptance of diverse family structures, gender equality, and sexual freedom—issues that were once heavily regulated by religious institutions." But what has secularization done to the family structure and marriage? The truth is it has led to widespread family breakdown, high percentage ending in divorce and children coming from broken homes. It has also resulted in, as it says, "more sexual freedom". Is that a good thing? I don't think so. The decline or weakening of the family structure can partly be blamed on the sexual revolution or sexual freedom in society. Far more children are being raised in broken homes, which does nothing to strengthen a feeling of security and peace for children and young people. Also, the rise of the LGBTQ culture destroys the family structure as well and fewer people have children in a traditional family structure. Another thing is women in the Caucasian race are having fewer children than previously. More women are choosing to work until they are older. They are having children at an older age than previously. This means fewer children per family. This creates societal problems. More women are having to work for a living in order for the family to buy a home and support the family. Also when women have to work, they are not at home taking care of the children themselves. More children have to go to day care at a younger age. This weakens the family structure. Children are not being raised by their parents as much of the time. Fewer children by established or long term Canadians means there will be less people paying taxes to pay for things like old age pensions and health care, etc. More Canadians are in the senior age group than before. To compensate for that, the government is forced to bring in more immigrants from countries which have a different culture or belief system than traditional Canadians.

Why would Jim Pattison care about politics? He is 97 yrs of age now and is worth 11.6 billion dollars. I believe he was a very generous guy in his life too.

From a posting on Facebook. " Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán says Europe may be losing what once held it together—its Christian identity. Speaking at a conference on Christian persecution, he argued that Hungary’s support for persecuted Christians isn’t just charity, but a reminder of the faith, perseverance, and values Europe itself desperately needs. Orbán said Christianity is written into Hungary’s Constitution and history, calling it the key to the nation’s survival for more than a thousand years. He warned that Christian persecution isn’t just a humanitarian issue but an attack on an entire civilization—one that Europe is too afraid to name openly. While many European leaders stay silent, Orbán insists Christians have the right to defend their culture. His conclusion was blunt: Europe can only be saved if it returns to its Christian roots." Many countries stand for their identity based on religious beliefs. For example, India stands for Hinduism, Pakistan and Iran for Islam, etc. Sikhs want their own country. What about Canada? What is Canada's identity or do we even have one? What was our identity historically?

We could debate these things, but today is Christmas Day, a time to remember what God did for mankind. We just had a church service last Sunday evening and this Christmas morning where we sang some of traditional Christmas hymns. We remember how God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to be born in a lowly manger in the little town of Bethlehem. This is not a fairy tale. This is exactly what God did. He didn't come to earth as a King with a crown and sitting on a throne. He came as a lowly baby in a situation of poverty. This is a good time to read about Jesus in the gospel of Luke or John and learn what it all means. Why did Jesus come into the world? That is an important question. I hope and pray you will consider this if you are not already knowledgeable on it. This is something that can be life changing for eternity, both in this life and the next. Merry Christmas and may God bless you.

" The pro-MAiD rhetoric is not only contrary to our faith, but is particularly death-dealing to disabled people, who are told that their need for care renders them lacking in dignity and who are offered death as a treatment option for long-term disability. This is not just an academic worry. We have seen the repeated fears of disability rights and religious groups realized, as Canadians who are disabled, experiencing non life-threatening ailments, or lacking housing and employment are now being pressured into choosing MAiD by the actions of medical professionals or by their perceived lack of other options.[vi] The argument is often made that MAiD is a means of avoiding unnecessary suffering. But suffering, though not good in itself, is nonetheless an opportunity for the redemptive power of Christ to be exercised in one’s life (2 Cor. 5:7-10; 1 Pet. 4:1-2). Bodily suffering can be an occasion for the healing of the soul and a witness of Christ to others. Jesus himself is the paradigm for faithful suffering and dying. In the agony of Gethsemane, Christ’s human will was brought into alignment with the divine, providential will of the Father by his humble submission and obedience unto death (Matt. 26:39; Heb. 5:8). Thus, for the faithful Christian, suffering is to be humbly received, patiently endured, prayerfully engaged, alleviated when possible, but not to be avoided at all costs. Moreover, alleviating the suffering of others is a moral imperative and a duty of all Christians. Modern medicine has extremely effective treatments for bodily pain. In very many cases, MAiD is requested because of a fear of being alone or of being a burden to others. When the person is assured that others want to care for them, he or she almost always expresses great relief and does not pursue a MAiD request." Position Statement on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) – The Prayer Book Society of Canada

Some large mainline denomination have become apostate or fallen away from the truth in the Bible. For example, "The leadership of the Anglican Church of Canada has taken the position that attempts to oppose MAiD would be ineffective, and that the church should rather focus on pastoral care.[i] However, the pastoral care that is being put forward actually embraces complicity in MAiD, as we explain below." Position Statement on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) – The Prayer Book Society of Canada I think that the best churches or the ones closest to the truth would be rare and far between. They would be small independent churches. Ironically, the papacy reportedly said the worst kind of churches are the fundamental churches, you know, the ones that really take the Bible literally. The papacy is willing to embrace other false religions of the world to some extent but they don't want anything to do with those fundamental Bible churches.

This is the story of someone who experienced it with a relative first hand. This kind of thing is common. quote By Barbara I am here to share a recent experience my husband had in a hospital in Alberta. It is not to point a finger at the doctor treating him because he respects and admires her. It is instead to put a spotlight on what the official government narrative is regarding MAID, how it is supposed to be administered, and what is in reality happening to vulnerable individuals who seek treatment at a hospital. (Not all individuals, but enough to raise an alarm.) On Wednesday, 7 May 2025, he was admitted to the hospital with a suspected pulmonary embolism. It was diagnosed and he was receiving treatment (blood thinners and morphine). On Saturday, his doctor came into his room (I was not with him at the time) and said to him, “I am embarrassed to ask you this question, but I am required by federal mandate to ask people over the age of 65: Do you want to end this?” ( He’s 67) with MGUS, a pre-cancerous condition. He immediately replied that he did not, and she said that she wouldn’t have accepted his answer anyway. He called me in surprise and shock and relayed his experience to me. I would have thought that perhaps he was confused because of the morphine, if it were not for an experience a dear friend of mine had three years ago when she was dealing with Stage 4 breast cancer. She fainted while she and her husband were out and he rushed her to the hospital in Calgary. When she awoke, she was in a hospital bed. Confused, she asked the nurse where she was. The nurse explained that she was in the hospital awaiting MAID. She asked what that was and when it was explained to her, she was outraged. She said she would never, ever request such a thing. When she chastised her husband for letting her be in that position, he was chagrined and said that when they brought her in, they asked her if she wanted it and she had agreed. Both of these experiences suggest that MAID is being raised not in response to the patient’s request, but rather based on age or the medical team’s assessment of quality of life. This is frightening. I believe that these two stories are not isolated. I fear many other seniors and vulnerable patients are being approached in similar ways and may not have the ability or presence of mind to respond confidently or resist. It makes me wonder if a hospitalized person needs the 24 hour presence of an advocate to prevent them from being pressured to take MAID. The narrative seems to have gone from a terminal person asking for MAID to doctors asking if the person wants MAID when they are in a vulnerable position. My prediction is that it will soon shift to pressure on people to do the right thing by ending their suffering. (Similar to Trudeau asking retired people to give up their homes for younger people). I share these testimonies with you in hopes that your organization can bring further attention to this disturbing trend and advocate for: **Transparency in how MAID is being introduced in hospital settings **Clear, age-neutral policies regarding end-of-life conversations **Stronger safeguards against miscommunication, pressure, or consent violations I am grateful that there are organizations like yours who advocate for the vulnerable sector among us. " The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC) is proud to invite you to participate in our exclusive creative messaging contest. For the better part of fifty years, we have been inundated with euthanasia propaganda portraying life as meaningless, death as freedom, despair as wisdom, hopelessness as courage, the abetting (and suggestion) of suicidal desires as an act of love. It is high time (and more than time) for us to clean up this mess by telling our side of the story." Stories | Euthanasia Prevention Coalition All those kind of claims that life is meaningless, death is freedom, despair is wisdom obviously comes from the Prince of Darkness. The idea of MAID or euthanasia comes from the Prince of Darkness, i.e. Satan and his demons. It is similar to the Holocaust; premature death is the end result.

Here's a surprise. I've seen freedom of speech and belief on a certain issue even cancelled in modern mainline churches. If one doesn't tow the line on a certain question or belief, or takes a different view that he thinks is biblical, one can be discriminated against, made unwelcome or told to go somewhere else. Many in authority misuse their position to try to force others to their line of thinking in areas that they should not. They have become Nicolaitanes, Jesus condemned the beliefs or practices of the Nicolaitanes in Revelation Chap. 2. That is one thing Jesus said he hates. The word Nicolaitane comes from the words nico meaning to conquer and laitane meaning the laity. Conquer the laity. They think they are infallible and have all the answers and mix faith with ideas from the world. Sincerity does not equate to truth all the time.

That has been tried to some extent before. Any arguments that are merely human reasoning are also often rejected. Using humanistic arguments will often be countered with the mercy killing argument for people that are suffering, which is still contrary to the Bible. Unless God and his written revelation are respected, you will lose. Using philosophy or human reasoning is often a loosing proposition. " 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Colossians 2:8 KJV The ultimate reason to oppose medical assistance in dying or euthanasia is because it is active killing which is contrary to the teachings of the Bible. There are many verses in the Bible related to the subject. This is only one. "13 Thou shalt not kill. " Exodus 20:13 KJV Compassion must be shown to those who are suffering and everything must be done to make them as comfortable as possible and to ease their suffering and pain. This is probably true in many cases. But those kind of people likely don't listen to any kind of reasoning anyway. They may counter you with the mercy argument. Without God and his revelation, you don't have much argument to counter that.

You make that choice entirely on your own. According to the Bible the present and eternal consequences of rejecting God for you are total disaster unless you change. quote In the Bible, the consequences of rejecting God are repeatedly emphasized. Scripture provides a sobering view of what happens when people turn away from their Creator. The Bible articulates both the present and eternal consequences of rejecting God, from spiritual emptiness to eternity in hell. A present consequence of rejecting God is spiritual emptiness. In the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon describes the “vanity” or emptiness of a life without God: "2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity." Ecc 1:2 KJV. Solomon’s repeated use of the word vanity captures the meaninglessness of a life devoid of God’s presence. When sinners reject God, moral decline ensues. Romans 1:28–32 paints a grim picture of that decline. “Since they did not see fit to acknowledge God,” Paul writes, “28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;" Romans 1:28 KJV. Paul goes on to list various sins that come from sinners rejecting God, such as envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. This depravity leads to a breakdown in human relationships and society. To reject God also means that sinners forfeit His love, wisdom, and guidance. In John 15:5, Jesus communicates the importance of “abiding” in Him: “5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." John 15:5 KJV. When sinners are disconnected from Jesus, they have no choice but to navigate life on their own, leading to feelings of despair and aimlessness. The prophet Isaiah also talks about the consequences of rejecting God. He says, “1 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." Isaiah 59:1,2 KJV. The separation that Isaiah speaks of has eternal implications for those who continue to reject God. The Bible is unequivocal about the eternal consequences of rejecting God. In the New Testament, Jesus frequently speaks about the final judgment and the eternal fate of those who reject Him. For example, in Matthew 25:41, Jesus describes the fate of the unrighteous: "41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:" Matthew 25:41 KJV. Hell is not a fictitious place; it is the location reserved for those who reject God’s promise of eternal life in Christ. The book of Revelation further elaborates on the eternal consequences of rejecting God. Revelation 20:15 states, “15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15 KJV. This graphic image is a stern warning for those who reject God. Despite the present and eternal consequences of rejecting God, there is hope of eternal life in Christ. God desires for everyone to repent and come to Christ for salvation: “9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. " 2 Peter 3:9 KJV. God is patient and willing to forgive anyone who turns from his rejection of Christ and comes to Him in faith. unquote What are the consequences of rejecting God? | GotQuestions.org

Palestine would be much bigger - plenty of room for everyone. Israel is only about 20,000 square kilometers or equal to about 100 km width by 200 km in length. That is very small. They are not going to carve it up to give half to a bunch of people who want to eliminate Israel. There is lots of room for the Muslims in all the surrounding Muslim countries. Why don't those countries take them in? The answer is because the Palestinians want to eliminate Israel and have a Muslim caliphate. Those countries know they are nothing but trouble and would bring their wars to other countries.

quote Bible Verses About Euthanasia The Sanctity of Life We start by acknowledging that life is a precious gift from God. In the Bible, we find numerous verses that emphasize the value of human life. These scriptures remind us that every individual is made in the image of God and has inherent worth. God has a plan for each of us, and our lives are to be cherished. Considering euthanasia, we find comfort and guidance in these reflections on the sanctity of life, inviting us to choose compassion and love over premature decisions about life and death. Genesis 1:27 “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” – Genesis 1:27 Psalm 139:13-14 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” – Psalm 139:13-14 Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11 Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder.” – Exodus 20:13 Matthew 10:29-31 “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” – Matthew 10:29-31 Compassion in Suffering As we face the reality of suffering, we are often confronted with the pain of our loved ones. The Bible teaches us the importance of compassion. When we consider euthanasia in the context of compassion, it’s essential to remember that God calls us to care for those who are hurting. Instead of hastening the end, we are invited into a journey of supporting and uplifting those in pain, walking alongside them with love and understanding. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Romans 12:15 “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” – Romans 12:15 Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2 Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'” – Matthew 25:40 1 Peter 3:8 “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” – 1 Peter 3:8 Trusting God’s Plan In difficult times, trusting in God’s plan can be a challenge. Yet, as we read through the Bible, we are encouraged to put our faith in His wisdom and timing. Each life has purpose, even when the path seems overwhelming. As we navigate the topic of euthanasia, it’s vital for us to seek God’s understanding and to want His will to be done, recognizing that our lives are not solely ours but part of His grand design. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6 Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” – Isaiah 55:8-9 Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7 Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28 James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” – James 1:2-4 God’s Authority Over Life and Death Understanding who holds the ultimate authority over life and death is pivotal in the discussion of euthanasia. The Lord is the giver of life, and it is He who decides its duration. This powerful truth reassures us that our lives are in His hands, allowing us to embrace our journey even through hardships, knowing that His purpose will prevail regardless of our understanding. By submitting to His authority, we can find peace and perspective in challenging situations. Job 1:21 “He said, ‘Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.'” – Job 1:21 Psalm 31:15 “My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.” – Psalm 31:15 Acts 17:26 “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” – Acts 17:26 Romans 14:8 “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” – Romans 14:8 Hebrews 9:27 “Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” – Hebrews 9:27 Walking in Love When discussing euthanasia, the call to love becomes even more paramount. Jesus taught us to love one another, and this includes our neighbors, friends, and those who are suffering. Our love must manifest itself in kindness and support as we navigate the challenging decisions regarding the end of life. We should remember that love also means being present and listening, allowing others to feel valued and honored in their experiences. 1 John 4:7 “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” – 1 John 4:7 Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:32 Colossians 3:14 “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” – Colossians 3:14 John 15:12 “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” – John 15:12 Romans 13:10 “Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” – Romans 13:10 Honoring Our Elders In many cultures, elders are respected and honored. The Bible also teaches us to treat our elders with dignity and reverence. This becomes significant when discussing euthanasia, as we are reminded to cherish those who are in their later years. Our approach to their care should be rooted in love and respect, allowing them to experience the fullness of life regardless of their physical or mental challenges. 1 Timothy 5:1-2 “Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.” – 1 Timothy 5:1-2 Leviticus 19:32 “Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.” – Leviticus 19:32 Proverbs 16:31 “Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.” – Proverbs 16:31 Proverbs 20:29 “The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old.” – Proverbs 20:29 Exodus 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.” – Exodus 20:12 The Value of Patience Choosing to extend our time with those who are suffering often requires immense patience and love. In discussions surrounding euthanasia, we are called to practice patience, trusting that God’s will is at work. Life can be challenging, but it is in these trials where we find growth. As we encounter these hardships, we are reminded to lean on God, who gives us the strength to endure and look for hope even in the darkest days. James 1:3-4 “Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” – James 1:3-4 Romans 5:3-5 “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” – Romans 5:3-5 Psalm 37:7 “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” – Psalm 37:7 Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 Hebrews 12:1-2 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” – Hebrews 12:1-2 Seeking Wisdom When faced with tough decisions regarding life and death, seeking wisdom from the Lord becomes essential. The Bible invites us to ask God for discernment and clarity as we make decisions that affect ourselves and others. By focusing our hearts on His truth, we’re able to navigate discussions about euthanasia with grace, compassion, and understanding, ensuring our choices reflect God’s love and purpose for all lives. James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” – James 1:5 Proverbs 2:6 “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” – Proverbs 2:6 Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” – Psalm 119:105 Proverbs 3:13 “Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding.” – Proverbs 3:13 Isaiah 33:6 “He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.” – Isaiah 33:6 Final Thoughts As we reflect on the Bible verses about euthanasia, we find ourselves surrounded by a wealth of wisdom, hope, and encouragement. Life is sacred and valuable, and though suffering can be overwhelming, we are called to love and support one another during those times. Trusting in God’s plan and authority helps us navigate the complexities of life, reminding us to embrace patience and kindness. Facing tough choices requires wisdom, and we can rely on God’s guidance to honor the lives of those we cherish. Let’s choose to walk this path together, seeking love, compassion, and understanding at every step. Ultimately, our discussions around euthanasia draw us closer to God’s heart, urging us to extend grace to ourselves and others. Through prayer and reflection, may we find clarity in our convictions while fostering a community enriched by empathy and purpose. Let us remember that our ultimate comfort lies in Jesus, who shows us how to live and love well, even amidst uncertainty and pain. Our journey demands courage, and we can face it with the assurance that we belong to the Lord, whose love sustains us now and always. unquote 30 Powerful Bible Verses About Euthanasia (Full Commentary) - Bible Study For You

You do sound more like a commie. Why would anybody be against the corporations that create wealth and good-paying jobs?? The forestry companies for example have provided good-paying jobs in towns around B.C. all along and this made it possible for people to own homes, buy cars and trucks, RVs, and boats. That's why we have had sawmills and pulp mills and lots of good jobs. So quit whining about Big Pharma, Big Timber, Big fish farms... blah blah. What's wrong with a big company anyway??? They certainly create more wealth and more good jobs than a small tiny company like Tim's coffee shop or McDs that now employs mostly foreign workers on minimum wage or near to it wages. Nobody can buy a home or support a family on that. It's the BIG Big companies that produce good jobs. We need big companies that pay around $30 an hour or more and have all the benefits. Small companies can't do it. That is, until the BC NDP was elected and started preserving more forests, bring in more regulations, and costs, and making it more difficult for companies to get logs. It would not likely work. The U.N proved to be a dismal failure in the Rwanda genocide where around a million people were murdered. Israel must defend itself. They would be fools to trust the U.N. to defend them. The U.N. has a long history of being anti-Semitic and anti-Israel. quote As the massacre progressed and press accounts of the genocide grew, the U.N. Security Council backtracked on its position and voted to establish UNAMIR II, with a strength of 5,500 peacekeepers.[15] As revealed through testimony at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, the genocide was brutally efficient, lasting for a total of 100 days and leading to the murder of between 800,000 and 1,171,000 Tutsi, Hutu moderates and Twa. Over two million people were displaced internally or in neighbouring countries.[16] Controversy Dallaire has been criticized by retired Canadian General Lewis MacKenzie for protecting UN soldiers when 10 Belgian paratroopers were killed on duty.[17] Belgian authorities have stated that they would seek a penal indictment over his role in the deaths of the Belgian paratroopers.[18] Dallaire was later criticized by the Belgian parliamentary commission for not preventing the murder of ten members of the 2nd Commando Battalion. In his answer to the martial council he would later say, "I did not know whether they were dead or injured."[19] The commission of inquiry of the Belgian Senate in 1998 severely condemned Dallaire's actions during those days, stating it was "imprudent and unprofessional to have the Belgian escorts provided on 7 April with so few military precautions". In addition, the commission stated it "did not understand why General Dallaire, who had noted the blue beret bodies in the Kigali camp, did not communicate this immediately to the FAR's high-ranking officers at the meeting of the École supérieure and did not demand the urgent intervention of those Rwandan officers present. This appears to reflect considerable indifference on his part. Moreover, General Dallaire also neglected to inform his sector commander about what he had seen and to give the necessary instructions".[20][19] In his book, Shake Hands with the Devil: The Failure of Humanity in Rwanda, General Dallaire details his decision to send 10 soldiers to protect the Prime Minister during the "apocalyptic" first hours of the genocide.[21] unquote Roméo Dallaire - Wikipedia

It is the terrorists that are widely embedded among Palestinians who attack Israel. The Palestinians are brainwashed to hate Israel and are incapable of living in peace. Israel is just defending itself. You still haven't learned the basic facts. The U.N. has proven incapable of keeping peace in Rwanda in Africa. They did nothing while a huge genocide happened. If the UN operated the same way in Gaza and allowed terrorists to attack Israel, Israel would have to defend itself and the U.N. would have to get out quickly. They would be useless because they would not go after the terrorists and stop them. Only Israel would do that. Ask Romeo Dallaire who was a U.N. leader in Rwanda when the genocide happened.

Sure I do, as a nation within a state called Palestine. You are clueless. Do you know how small Israel already is? It is 20,770 square kilometers. Vancouver Island is about 32,000 square kilometers. So Israel is 2/3 the size of Vancouver Island and must defend itself against many far larger countries with big populations of Muslims who want to eliminate Israel. Give your head a shake.

There never was a state called Palestine. That is an invention of people like you who want to carve one out of Israel. Look at a map for a change and see how big Israel is compared with Iran or Iraq or many other countries. It is a tiny area. Your idea of cutting it in half is ludicrous and very anti-Semitic. Israel is surrounded by a sea of hostile Muslim countries and has a right to exist and needs what land it has to defend itself. Simple really. "Historically, there was never an independent country named Palestine. While the State of Israel was established in 1948, a Palestinian State was not established. The PLO declared a Palestinian state in 1988, and in 2012, the UN General Assembly granted Palestine the status of a non-member observer state. History News Network+2
