Hillary Clinton and her health problems.
?Impact replied to taxme's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The sickest time I have had in my adult life was when my children were young and entering school. I think there is a lot to say about the Japanese practice of greeting* someone with a bow. I don't blame Trump for being a germaphobe, he hasn't taken it to the extreme like Howard Hughes and live as a recluse. *similar to a handshake, a bow is often used for saying hello and goodbye. It is also used to thank, apologize, or congratulate. Probably the main difference is a bow also works in a group setting, where a handshake is obviously only one on one. -
The Japanese government attacked the US, the Iraqi government didn't. Japan emerged from the war with a lot of support, stability, and rebuilding into a strong nation. Iraq emerged from peace into a disaster zone. Lots of other differences, but if you can't see those two big ones then you are lost.

If you were an innocent child, and George Bush rained down bombs in your neighbourhood murdering your family and maiming you for life you would consider him a terrorist. There are thousands of such examples. George Bush is a terrorist - period.

It was Trudeau Sr. in 1969 (thanks to Tommy Douglas as well) that changed the legislation that sent Everett George Klippert to prison for life for being a homosexual. He was considered a dangerous sex offender because a psychiatrist assessed him as being incurably homosexual. While he was released after the legislation changed, his conviction remains on the books, he died in the 90's. Note that Trudeau Jr. is looking to pardon him and expunge his record. You can thank the progressives for actually doing something to move us out of the dark ages.

No, syncope. While it is difficult to tell much from the video, I doubt if she was having a seizure she would have been slumped on the pylon first. -

You are right, she is copying the Trump style of campaigning. -

Trudeau was never banned, therefore nothing needed to be waived. There is no fixed rule that says if you admit smoking pot you will be automatically banned, this is up to the discretion of the US customs/immigration agent that is processing you. How many people have been stopped by police for smoking a joint, yet do not receive a criminal conviction? -

Income tax bad, commodity tax good. Commodity tax bad. Tax bad. Anarchy. -
So the government should ignore the processes it set up, like the NEB, and just dictate what happens? Nope, we got rid of the dictator.

If you would actually listen, you might get it. Terrorism bad, regardless who commits it. The acts of George Bush are terrorism.

Lots of jobs require international travel. If you are in the high-tech sector, or a management position then US travel is almost to be expected. If you are applying to flip burgers, then no it is not. -
So what do you make of Exodus 20 (among many others)? And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me....

I prefer the Chinese chicken oath. This happened in a B.C. court room in 1902 and included the decapitation of a live chicken followed by the incineration of the written oath - see Rex v Ah Woocy, 9 B.C. 569 -
Wynne says Hydro rates an "Urgent" Issue

Yet, the Progressive Conservatives themselves said that the 407 cost $100 billion; then of course they sold it to their crony buddies for a song. The cost of assets accumulated over 80+ years is not trivial. -

Very hard to tell from the video alone, but it looks like she i not getting sufficient oxygen to the brain (syncope). All sorts of possible causes, some serious and some trivial. Her medical history (blood clots, concussion), combined with her age certainly make it worth checking into. It is not unknown however for perfectly healthy people to suffer from this as well. In fact it is not uncommon for soldiers standing on parade for a long time in hot conditions to faint. -

As I have said countless times, the Liberals failed miserably because they didn't spend the hundreds of billions required to fix Mike Harris's destruction of our public utility. -
LOL, making excuses for the mass murderer George Bush. What kind of chance is it to kill hundred of thousands and then say you can't live peacefully.

Judges are appointed by the Crown on advice from the Prime Minister. It depends on which court they are being appointed to. For example, Ontario has the Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal. Federally we have the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Tax Court of Canada, Military Courts, the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Note that recently the appointment process for the Supreme Court of Canada was revised. -
Who are her foreign supporters? I think Clinton is a criminal and should not be President. Just because I know Trump is a bigger criminal doesn't make me a Clinton supporter.
