  1. I'm Canadian. That's why London, Ontario is listed under my name. Learn to read, and stop assuming what fits your narrative. And please listen to others, start your own threads instead of hijacking everyone into a constant "American is bad" discussion.
  2. Very nice hyperbole. Name one "precious" freedom that has slipped away since he's been in office. And just because you may disagree with him politically, doesn't mean he's a wannabe dictator. You do a disservice to legitimate dialogue in forums such as these when you use that type of intellectual dishonesty.Oh, and trex, I'm still waiting.
  3. Great observation. I also find it interesting the way they're able to discuss issues of foreign policy with such matter-of-factness. As though they have their own Intelligence Agency at their disposal.
  4. I don't grunt out insults. I've asked trex to defend his ideas, and he's refused. It tells you a lot about a person who can't or won't defend his own arguments. He's made the claim that America is as bad, or worse then so-called dictatorships. I would just like to know which countries he considers so-called dictatorships. Is that such a ridiculous question to ask? I think not. As for my signature. I've referenced both Ronald Reagan (proper spelling) and John F. Kennedy. And I certainly won't apologize for admiring them both, and recognizing their many achievements. Grunt, grunt UShaditComing. Grunt out some more insults.
  5. Wrong. America actually gets more oil from Canada and Mexico then the middle east. However, they are dependent on foreign oil because the left won't allow America to develop it's own oil resources. And yet, they're the first one's to complain when oil/gasoline prices rise.
  6. Ah, you must mean whistleblowing a candidates lies to the American people.
  7. When you explain to us which countries you consider so-called dicatatorships. Coward.
  8. Yes we do know what was said and in what context. We have the contents of the memo. And you don't know for a fact that the Government interfered for their own self serving reasons, you can only speculate. This is all just manufactured outrage from people who dislike Harper from the beginning. There's only one fact. Obama's economic advisor DID meet with Canadian officals, and we have a MEMO detailing that meeting.
  9. Hey trex, I guess you figured you'd spew that garbage without anyone challenging you? Grab a spine, and let us all know, which countries you consider so-called dictatorships.
  10. What was truely reprehensible, was Obama saying one thing to Ohio voters, and the opposite to the Canadian Government.
  11. It's against the law to leak a memo regarding a Professor of economics' discussion with an official at the Canadian Consulate in Chicago? Are you talking about Canadian law or American law? And if it's true, where are the prosecutions of leakers of the Canadian Federal Budget every year? It's not okay to give away national security secrets. This however, falls well below that standard. This memo shows that Barack Obama either didn't know that his economic advisor had a meeting at the Canadian Consulate, or lied about it. The memo, which nobody is disputing its authenticity, illustrates Barack Obama's double-talk regarding his NAFTA position. The meeting happened. Barack said it didn't. That's a fact. The memo tells Canadian officials to discount Obama's rhetoric regarding NAFTA. That's a fact. I'm sorry that facts may get in the way of people's dislike of Stephen Harper. Some people want to focus on why/who leaked, instead of focusing on the content of the discovered meeting, and the discovered memo. Whoever leaked, for whatever reason, should be looked upon as a whistleblower, shining the light on poltical backroom deals, and political double-speak by a candidate running for President of the United States.
  12. Yes of course, they forced, by gun point, Obama's economic advisor to meet with Canadian officials in Chicago. Then, they forced him not to tell Barack Obama about said meeting. Then, they forced Obama to double-talk on the NAFTA issue during his campaigning in Ohio. Yeah, that must be it, cause Obama certainly couldn't have any responsibility here. He's not even President yet and he's caused an International incident. I can't wait until he's in the Whitehouse meeting with Castro, Chavez, Kim Jong Ill and Ahmadinejad, without pre-conditions.I see the leaker of this memo as a whistle-blower. American voters have the right to know if Mr. Hope and Change is really Mr. Politics as Usual. According to the writer of the memorandum, Joseph De Mora, a political and economic affairs consular officer, Professor Goolsbee assured them that Mr. Obama’s protectionist stand on the trail was “more reflective of political maneuvering than policy.” It also said the professor had assured the Canadians that Mr. Obama’s language “should be viewed as more about political positioning than a clear articulation of policy plans.”
  13. What in the world are you talking about? What tactic? Obama told reporters that there was no meeting that took place. That was untrue. It was Obama's economic advisor who met with Canadian officials. There's a memo summarizing the meeting. It has nothing to do with Harper.
  14. Stop trying to blame this on Stephen Harper. It has nothing to do with him. It was Obama who denied that any meeting took place. Which wasn't true. It was Obama's economic advisor who met with Candian officials which produced the memo illustrating Obama's double-speak. Nice try though.
  15. Great observation. Also, I would absolutely take McCain's word over Obama and/or Clinton. They're both not qualified to be President. The Democrats qualified to be President either didn't run, or didn't win enough to stay in the primary race.
  16. Hey trex, I'm still waiting. Which countries do you consider so-called dictatorships?
  17. Yep, in "so-called" dictatorships that are un-free, people are killed, they don't bother with a trial and jury, and all of that "due process" crap. Btw, which countries do you consider so-called dictatorships?
  18. So more hope huh?I just hope he knows, that as President, he can't vote 'present' on difficult issues, the way he did in the Illinois state senate. For me, the most frustrating thing that I hear him say on a regular basis, is that he wants to "end tax breaks to companies who ship jobs overseas". Usually that line makes all of his supporters clap wildly, not knowing that it lacks all economic logic and reason. Despite what people may think, the vast majority of businesses that move jobs out of America, do it to either to stay competitive, or simply survive. So basically, Barack Obama wants to increase the taxes and/or business costs of companies that are already finding it difficult to compete in the global economy. As if that's going to deter them from moving future jobs. Those are the types of substanceless soundbites that people get a little tired of hearing. Obama accomplishments:
  19. Nope. I listen to Rush Limbaugh from time to time, and he puts liberals who call in ahead of any callers on hold.
  20. Maybe they've been taking lessons from the left.Folsom Street Fair's "Last Supper" Crucifix In Urine The Holy Virgin Mary" splattered with elephant dung Then of course, you add in little incidents like 911, The Danish cartoon riots, the murder of Theo Van Gogh, Bali bombing, London bombing, Madrid bombing, Muslim girl killed by father for not wearing a head scarf, and there's bound to be a push back against Islamic radicalism, and a push forward of freedom of speech.
  21. I found the list quite funny. It's basically the stereotypes that atheists and agnostics have of religious people. What was also funny about it, was the mention of the denying existence, or the laughing or mocking of religious beliefs. In otherwords, the behavior of atheists and agnostics on a regular basis. Also the part about them having a much deeper knowledge of the Bible was pretty funny too.
  22. No. John McCain is pro-life. And no, John McCain isn't/wasn't anti-war. He criticized the strategy in Iraq and believed more troops were needed to accomplish the mission.
  23. I certainly believe that raising children in an Islamic environment can be abusive. Especially when they're sent out to blow themselves up in the name of Allah. However, most religion is not child abuse. Now, if we want to talk about practices being abusive to children, I'd bring up gay adoption as the biggest culprit. That to me is real child abuse. Putting politics above the best interests of children is disgusting.
  24. Unpopular at home, Bush basks in African praise Reuters Great story! Except of course for those people suffering from BDS.
  25. Yes We Can!....use someone else's speech, and pass it on as our own!...Yes We Can!
