      Not all chronic conditions are a problem with covid.  Like arthritis, or back pain, etc.  Regardless, everything isn’t just about covid, especially 2 years into this.

    I tend to have more sympathy for the selfish characterization of unvaccinated unhealthy people. They want to have their cake and eat it too, pun intended. If you live a very unhealthy lifestyle you should probably get vaccinated. If you lead a healthy lifestyle, you haven’t been, nor will you be a burden on the health care system. The science shows us that.

    If the government, provincial or federal, mandate vaccines, I hope they get the shit sued out of them. As time goes on, new side effects are discovered. Remember that the emergency authorization use of the vaccines skipped the normal years long trials. The government gave the pharmaceutical companies full legal immunity, but the government themselves can still be held liable.

    My life isn’t worth anymore than somebody else’s. But I’m not asking anyone to destroy their lives so that I can feel safer. The average age of a covid death in Ontario is 83. That’s older than life expectancy.

    In Ontario, there are 119 unvaccinated in the ICU vs 106 fully vaccinated. Why are the fully vaccinated so overly represented in the ICU?

    I do t know. What’s the reason fully vaccinated are overly represented in the ICU in Ontario. It shouldn’t be 50/50 should it? Shouldn’t the vast majority be unvaccinated? Isn’t that what should be expected?

    Complete nonsense. A lot of unvaccinated are young healthy people. There are some unfit slobs though. As there are vaccinated unfit slobs. Unfortunately if you’re an unfit slob, regardless of vaccination status, you can find yourself in the hospital. Because that matters more than being vaccinated.

    Now measure destroying children’s development, education, and measure the mental health costs in depression, anxiety, suicide and drug overdoses society wide. Also measure the destruction of people’s businesses and livelihoods. It’s not all about trying to prevent people in their 70s and 80s from dying.

    You may not agree with Ford’s approach, especially with this latest lockdown. But an NDP or Liberal government would mean longer more restrictive lockdowns, and more restrictions when not in lockdown. I certainly don’t agree with his latest decisions. But unfortunately, it’s either him, or somebody much worse.
