So they're going to release a budget 8 months into the fiscal year going forward? Brilliant? What happened to all of Trudeau's "investments" over the last 10 years. Regardless, if you just changed the regulatory process, you could make resource projects more profitable, and attract private investment instead of having to use tax money to "invest".

But that's three quarters of the way through the fiscal year. What a clown show.

Now that Carney has completely alienated Elizabeth May, it's even more likely the government will fall next spring when the 2026 budget is released.

Every President has pardoned criminals for one reason or another. I think the pardon process should be reformed in some way, to check this power at least a little.

Our health care system is in shambles for two main reasons. The Trudeau government decided to expand Canada’s population at a rate that our health care system could not keep up with. The Trudeau government also enacted terrible economic policies, that restricted the economic growth necessary to properly fund the health care system capacity to handle the new population growth.

Question for the Trudeau supporters. How did you support Trudeau for 10 years, and now support Carney, when Carney is in the process of reversing most of the Trudeau era policies? Do you have any principles or is it just a team sport to you, and you support your “team” no matter what? Follow up question. Do you now realize how bad Trudeau was for Canada? Do you now understand the damage that his policies have done now that Carney is in the process of trying to roll them back?

He’s frightened of balanced budgets, a strong Canadian dollar, affordable homes, oil and gas pipelines, responsible immigration rates, and higher per capita GDP. All of which liberals have made much worse while in office.

No, Canada loses. Another mountain of debt, piled on top of the mountain of debt left by Trudeau. Debt serving costs will exceed health care funding for the foreseeable future. Yet you people think it’s good policy and makes Canada stronger. It’s Orwellian.

Actually most Canadians voted conservative in the previous two elections. Regardless, the liberals knew they were going to lose bad and forced Trudeau to resign. Carney won by running against Trump, which was smart. Regardless, the reason we’re in a crisis is because of the situation the previous government put us in with terrible policy over the past 10 years. Policy in which Carney is trying to reverse. Whether it energy, immigration, taxes, balancing the operational side of the budget, he’s literally reversing almost every Trudeau era policy. That’s how bad Trudeau was for Canada. If you supported Trudeau you should apologize to Canadians.
