  1. I think the fact that hetrosexual males find no problem with female-female sexual imagery but have a problem viewing make on male-male only reveals that someone's reluctance to participate in the Pride Parade has nothing to do with homophobia (hatred for homosexuals) and has everything to do with the tastes of that individual male. It's not political at all. And to accuse anyone that would prefer not to see male-male imagery as homophobic is totally counter-productive to the cause and puts people's backs up more than anything. BTW Game of Thrones this week had a male-male scene in it. Not my favourite scene of the episode, I could have done without that, am I homophobic now because of it?
  2. Double post, My bad. This forum should allow people to delete posts.
  3. I don't understand how removing legal obstacles to hard drugs would make anything better. Currently Hippy Lettuce is effectively decriminalized unless you're running a grow op. Still if I wanted some I'd have to go to the effort of finding a dealer, paying him cash for some in a seedy drug deal. It's much easier to get my mind altering high on with alcohol or tobacco. So should weed be legalized? perhaps. I certainly wouldn't oppose it. The only drawback might be the relations between us and the US if we do something like that. I do, however, grow tired of people saying weed is harmless compared to alcohol or tobacco. You're smoking an unregulated substance into your lungs. A single joint can do the work of like 5 drinks in less than a half hour. It'd say someone who regularly smokes weed would have similar if not more likely chance at getting lung cancer. Plus there's a concern about people burning and driving, so laws would have to be passed to accurately measure someone's exposure to weed if they are stopped for driving recklessly. People abuse alcohol but the vast majority consume it responsibly. The same can't be said about other hard drugs like cocaine, heroine and meth. Making these substances easier to maintain won't make things. better. And we can see "legalizing" and "regulating" our legal drugs don't remove a black market. Especially when governments are addicted to the revenue they bring in. Sin taxes are getting prohibitively expensive. Many people get tobacco off the reserves. I'm sure there are plenty of people that go to the US and smuggle alcohol over the border to avoid the offensive duty we are charged in Canada. I've thought about doing it. Who's to say that people who aren't afraid of partaking in an illegal act now will suddenly buy in once their drug of choice has been condoned by our federal government? Just some thoughts.
  4. I think a simple google search can unearth these videos.
  5. Well that's going a bit to far, if you ask me. But politicians definitely shouldn't be considered homophobes if they feel uncomfortable attending Pride.
  6. Well if you can't afford prescription drugs then doesn't the government step in? Ditto with dental care? So if it can be proven you have no other option than a publicly-funded abortion then OK let the gumint be on the dime. But it shouldn't be the default response by the healthcare system IMHO. I'd say many decisions to have an abortion are as a result of bad choices.
  7. No I'm just saying she should maybe pay for the abortion she can choose to have or perhaps think of other more effective forms of birth control.
  8. Watching the CBC. Isn't the "Night of the Long Knives" when Hitler had his The Gay leader of the SA killed?
  9. And his steroid use?
  10. Well much of the Pride Parade exhibits overt forms of sexuality. Maybe not full on sex but the conduct might make someone uncomfortable regardless of their views on the rights of homosexuals.
  11. Well there's no evidence to support that Rob Ford avoided the Gay Pride Parade because of religious belief, that I know.
  12. OK so he was slagging Jews then. Bernie Farber at the Canadian Jewish Council has been notified.
  13. So being a gangster and being a CEO have similar job descriptions? Wait I guess they do. Drug Runners also would probably be excellent as members of the Liberal Party of Ontario.
  14. Selling poison to people is cool as long as the government gets its cut right.
  15. Yeah and smuggling illicit drugs in the US is a snap right? These people who make millions of crime will just go on and get a job as a retail clerk or a waiter. Smuggling drugs is duty free. What makes you think people would be willing to stop smuggling a de-criminalized drug as opposed to a criminalized drug?
  16. Yeah "Love your neighbour". Such hateful stuff. There's a difference between hating Homosexuals and not condoning their life choices. Let's say you oppose public displays of hetrosexual sex. Should you be called a Hetrophobe?
  17. Yeah OK Instead of running drugs, they'll want to be clerks at the newly opened Heroine Control Board of Ontario. Many people I know that smoke get their tobacco off the reserves. That's a legal substance that people are picking up illegally. What should the gumint do about that?
  18. That's one hell of an unsupportable claim you made there. You doing a stopstaaron impersonation?
  19. How so? Can you prove that Abortion is an essential medical procedure?
  20. How ironic. In response to someone slagging Gays, you go to town and slag Christian beliefs.
  21. I find it hilarious that people think criminals will just give up their illegal ways once governments legalize Heroine and want to tax it.
  22. The only think the Ontario NDP should be concerned with is defeating the Liberal government's budget next week.
  23. Not something that takes up a lot of my time. Just making a point.
  24. Seems rather unfair to me.
