The US will allow those with mixed and matched vaccine doses into the country. Fearmongering unrealized.

The "Big Boys" didn't because they had the supply up front.
It was a pragmatic approach to get people vaccinated ASAP. As an anti-vaxxer, I doubt you'd appreciate that. It's not required anymore, but it was prudent at the time.

And I know you want to ignore it, but studies have shown that it's effective.
Here's an article from your friends in Sweden.
https://scitechdaily.com/research-shows-high-effectiveness-of-mix-and-match-covid-19-vaccines/
QuotePeople who had received a first dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and received an mRNA vaccine for their second dose had a lower risk of infection compared to people who had received both doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. This is shown in a nationwide study performed by researchers at Umeå University, Sweden.
“Having received any of the approved vaccines is better compared to no vaccine, and two doses are better than one,” says Peter Nordström, professor of geriatric medicine at Umeå University. “However, our study shows a greater risk reduction for people who received an mRNA vaccine after having received a first dose of a vector-based, as compared to people having received the vector-based vaccine for both doses.”

The date on the article is October 2021. Do you have a cite before this? One that would have been available at the time they decided to mix ‘n match? Or did they just take a gamble with your life.
Thats the problem, when I say reckless approach. The fact it worked out for the better does not preclude this.

Here's one from June citing the research used to make the decision.
QuoteThe updated NACI guidance is based on emerging research from Spain and the United Kingdom that found mixing and matching AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines was both safe and effective at preventing COVID-19.
CBC News first reported the details of the recommendation changes Tuesday morning, based on information from sources with direct knowledge of the decision who spoke on condition of anonymity. The details of the shift in guidance were confirmed publicly by officials from the Public Health Agency of Canada during a news conference Tuesday afternoon.
I'm not sure why you're upset for people who eagerly took the AZ vaccine ASAP.
You just want to complain about something? There certainly no mandate at the time and short of some isolated cases of blood clots, the AZ vaccine still has proven to be quite safe. ALSO everyone who took the AZ vaccine knew the risk at the time.

General Colin Powell dies of the Rona.

He probably did. He may not have had a lot longer anyway but Covid tipped him over the edge.
-
It’s too bad the same standard would be applied to other deaths not just Colin Powell. It could be pointed out the majority of the time that anyone that dies of covid related problems is generally older and in poor health.
-
His condition could have been stable until he caught Covid. It's too bad the anti vaxxers won't recognize that.
