  1. If someone commits suicide because they can't party, go indoor dining or lose their low-wage service sector job for awhile (They're begging people to come back now), then their mental health was likely a concern before the pandemic.
  2. Good thing you aren't in charge of anything.
  3. Yeah a full ICU is nothing to be concerned about. Don't get a Heart Attack in Alberta this weekend.
  4. Sweden also had a relatively high mortality rate. Not sure what it is now. Doesn't matter as they're on the Vaccine train like most developed countries. Google says 61% fully vaxxed.
  5. Yes, and it will get better. Eventually, likely due to a Lockdown if things get much worse. They're starting with a Vaccine passport. Many have died because Kenney delayed what other Provinces have already accomplished. Apparently Saskatchewan is too.
  6. They're begging other provinces to send out patients. Just like Ontario and Manitoba did earlier this year during Wave 3.
  7. It would mean that the Alberta ICU situation is about as bad as its ever been during this pandemic. Lockdowns are coming for them.
  8. Which means opponents really are fighting a losing battle.
  9. That's more research than I'm willing to do for a silly Internet debate. But the claim is that 89% of the ICU beds are filled. And there will, after all this, be an Alberta vaccine passport. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/university-of-alberta-hospital-nearly-doubles-icu-beds-as-edmonton-zone-hits-89-capacity-1.6177501
  10. So the authorities finally got to Kenney and DoFo? They resisted these passports but finally bowed to pressure, because what? Surely they aren't bound by this fake news? Politically these measures don't help them. Excpect that Passports are politically popular. But they resisted until the numbers told them otherwise.
  11. Again, I'm sure you have this data on hand.
  12. See Alberta's current situation as to why we keep repeating it. ICUs overwhelmed, other healthcare services restricted. IT. KEEPS. HAPPENING.
  13. Like fear and terror of a vaccine. I live in fear and terror of another broad Lockdown because Healthcare systems become overwhelmed again. I predict Alberta is on that path because of their inaction this Summer. Glad I don't live there. But hope you enjoyed two months not having to wear masks.
  14. I've observed that people raging against vaccine passports use this point that vaccinated can still get infected. Tucker has used it. It's irrelevant because the goal of the vaccine, first and foremost is to reduce severe illness. If your immune system tackles it, then who cares? The more that happens, the closer we come to an endemic disease.
  15. And you have this data on hand, I'm sure.
  16. I know CDC blargh!!!! https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/organizations/business-employers/bars-restaurants.html
  17. That's an anti-vax talking point. Though when you have ineligible children, it gets more complicated. The unvaxed should be "segregated" in environments where transmission is likely because they stand a greater chance of a severe outcome. In Ontario it's only being applied to areas where masking is difficult and people gather, most indoors. These are activities that were illegal earlier this year due to the Lockdown.
  18. Yeah Paywall. Again, no one is questioning that there is a level of immunity gained from previous infection. But I'm unconvinced it's better than a vaccine. And even if it was, the vaccine gives a further layer of protection. It's weird how the Anti-Vax crowd embraces so many treatment options while the vaccine is the only true medical prophylactic. Why are we not concerned about the Long term effects of Regenerion?
  19. Are you using VAERS as a source again? Approaching 70% of Canadians are fully vaccinated. How many have died?
  20. Sounds like you live in terror of a safe vaccine. pst. COVID is much more dangerous.
  21. What other studies show that previous infection have greater immunity than vaccination. Because vaccinated are only really a problem to the unvaccinated.
  22. Ya'll seem to cling to A study out of Israel to claim that previously infected should be exempt from vaccination. It's irrelevant because the chance of severe sickness is greatly diminished. So the fact that vaccinated can transmit the disease is only relevant to the unvaccinated.
  23. My theory is that many vaccinated don't bother get tested, because they don't even know they're infected. Studies have also indicated that even though vaccinated people can carry and transmit the virus, they're contagious for much less time.
  24. Doesn't speak to the situation in Alberta, which you clearly didn't have any grasp on. Honestly you copy and pasted this diatribe from all the anti-vax talking points I've seen. It note for note from the bunk used by Anti-Vaxxers.
