  1. Although I'm personally an atheist, I see a lot of value in many peaceful religions as a buffer against government overreach. If you listened to those idiots you'd think that only white people ever owned slaves, that it ended 20 years ago, and that it was some other culture that abolished slavery. Again, LPOC & Dems to a T. The only part that's missing is the total ownership of the mass media, and in modern day - social media. They use the media extensively to attack the courts, the opposition, and to foment division.
  2. IMO that's an improvement from a few months ago, when 6 of those stories would revolve around covid. The worst thing isn't that the stories are all negative, it's that they're all framed politically. Covid: "Trudeau is awesome, way better than Trump!" - (which was a lie, Trump accomplished a lot while Trudeau botched every single thing aspect of covid) Kamloops Res School - no mention that Pierre Trudeau actually funded those schools. No mention of his unflattering comments about FN culture, rights, or treaty money. The story is covered from the false narrative that the most likely cause of death was murder (it was the Spanish Flu, smallpox, etc), schools were created out of racism, etc. The LPOC-owned media here likes to create this false narrative of harsh Canadian racism so that they can pimp Trudeau's virtue-signalling campaign as a holy crusade. It is guaranteed to suck in the dumbest Canadians, and apparently that's a lot of people.
  3. Creating division feeds their souls and it keeps the rioters angry, and the rioters destroy cities to help their MSM spin hatred against the GOP. They invited these envoys and the envoys will say: "White people suck. The Dems are saving minorities from white supremacists. Crackers are a huge terrorist threat."
  4. TBH, it's not like democracy ever became entrenched as the everlasting form of government. In the grand scheme of things it's still just a blip on the radar. It's a running experiment that's just one vote away from ending. By contrast, theocracies, communist oligarchies and old-skool monarchies are far harder to get rid of. In 2021 the majority of people in NA are pissing away democracy by allowing blatantly idiotic/false news to control them. Honestly, whats the difference between having a king and having a PM or POTUS who can say/do anything and then be lionized for it, while remaining untouchable to law enforcement? One party in Canada owns the news lock, stock and barrel. Ditto for the US. Just spitballing here, I think Canada is closer to a 'theocracy' than anything else right now. We lack 'religion', or an affinity for an eternal God in our leadership, but Trudeau is the left's messiah. His scandals are ok, his ethics breaches are ok, his stammering idiocy is lauded as divine inspiration, and he could rape the daughters of half the Liberal voters in this country and they'd consider themselves blessed by his presence.
  5. The theory about blocking international travel is that int'l boundaries are like having water-tight compartments on a ship: if one floods the ship can stay afloat. It makes sense to have the int'l border restrictions if you have good reason, but Covid restrictions are just based on fear mongering, not science or wisdom, otherwise there never would have been a single lockdown. Internally you know that this is true, because if this was a real pandemic then you wouldn't even care about international travel - you wouldn't be willing to risk it.
  6. You're 100% off-topic. The regulations around BC mail-in ballots and American mail-in ballots are night and day. Their structure was more like this: Your completely out-of-place comparison was a joke. That's a lie by omission. Sure, they didn't claim the election was stolen by route a, they claimed it was stolen by route b. They still claimed that the election itself was a fraud. The Dems and the MSM were apoplectic and shrieking about the illegitimacy of the 2016 election for 4 years. They even spoke about getting the POTUS locked up as a result of his election fraud. That's another lie. The claims that were made were a mixture of utterly false and 99% false. The only truth at all to it is that Russians spent about $200K on FB ads which targeted both sides of the election to sow discord. The Dems gobbled it up hook, line and sinker. They were useful idiots for Putin. The proper use of the word confirmed is --> It is 100% confirmed that the Dems cheated on the 2016 election 3 times, including collusion with Russians.
  7. and It seems like you're advocating for vaccine passports and then arguing against them. I'm more inclined to go with "the toothpaste is already out of the tube because our PM did nothing until we already had thousands of people dead."
  8. Honestly, if there was a real pandemic, then keeping international borders closed would 100% make sense. Just imagine if covid was still easily transmissible but it was as deadly as ebola... you'd still want the border closed. It follows the "avoid it like the plague" line of wisdom - you never know who has it, where the new flare ups are, where a new mutation is coming from, etc, so if it's deadly serious (Covid isn't deadly serious for everyone though, just 1% of the population is at risk from it, so the all-out war on covid is neither the most efficient nor the most effective way of dealing with it) then every mom on earth instinctively knows what has to be done to keep it at bay. If international travel was wide open then whatever new strain popped up anywhere in the world, it would have instant access to every corner of the globe. Imagine "Pandora's Box in Flin Flon with international travel closed" vs "Pandora's Box at JFK on the Thursday before Thanksgiving in 2018 when every airport on earth was open". The 1st scenario is quite manageable, the second scenario is doomsday. IMO people use the word 'science' too much with regards to covid and ignore the word 'wisdom'. Science is just a tool for broadening and sharpening our wisdom, and for refining the precision with which we tackle an issue like covid. The fact still remains though, that wisdom is still our only defence early on. IE, ignore CNN and CBC.
  9. You obviously don't understand how easy it is to defraud that system when you mail out unsolicited ballots and then they magically reappear with your candidate checked off. The mail-ins even get to come in days after the polls close, all they have to do is fudge a date stamp. That's not a big deal for anyone as dedicated to cheating as the Demmies are. Just remember that YOUR discredited MSM flunkies spent 4 years demanding that the 2016 election was fraudulent, and then started an even more aggressive campaign of certifying the 2020 election fraud-free starting on election night. Can you explain to me Aristedes, how the same people who were so adamant for 4 years that the 2016 election was stolen suddenly became so adamant that the 2020 election was fraud-free right on election night? That's weird, especially when they spent that whole 4 years espousing fraud-friendly election reforms such as "ELECTIONS NEED TO BE DONE WITHOUT ID!!!!!!!"
  10. You just don't understand the topic very well Bubber. FYI presidential elections in the USA aren't regulated by the federal gov't, they're regulated at the state level. That means that the President actually is powerless to stop the Dems from instituting their fraud-friendly election systems and breaking election laws. Trust me, no one on earth has any reason to feel inferior to Dem/Lib supporters. If I chose to I could easily absorb blatantly idiotic propaganda from constantly discredited, laughable sources like CNN and CTV. The only unfortunate feeling associated with being a conservative is that of being unable to help leftists understand basic things at an adult level.
  11. How hard do you think it is to create some ballots and mail them in? Do you really think that it takes God-like competence to pull that off? They don't even have to match signatures or anything. The theoretical 'voters' don't even have to be alive. Do you think that in 2020 the Dems didn't have the technology to determine who ballots for while they were still sealed? Just remember that we're talking about a party that got caught cheating 3 times in the 2016 election - do you think that they didn't cheat more than that? Do you think that they didn't cheat in 2020? That wouldn't be very bright.
  12. Hence, it was the perfect election fraud scenario: "Lots of people love Joe Biden [wink wink], but they can't come out because of covid!" "We will mass-mail ballots that don't already have the 'Joe Biden' box checked, and actual voters will fill them out and send them back in. The system is flawless. We can already guarantee that this election will be legitimate."
  13. Biden had one brief public appearance yesterday and totally gapped out again, as usual. It's almost elder abuse now, letting that decrepit old man go out there and front for the shadow gov't.
  14. False dichotomy: -There's the option of not collecting/borrowing the money in the first place. -There's also the option of open competition on bids (something that socialists and the Libs have always been opposed to, this is how the government funnelled $500,000.00 through We and into Trudeau's family's hands), to ensure that the most competitive & efficient companies are doing the work and the taxpayers don't get ripped off. This is just another scam to get sole-source contracts out to their friends. Before they unroll this plan they'll already have their buddies set up with businesses, ready to grab massively lucrative gov't contracts. It's like when Bill Bennet bought up land in BC and then announced where the new highways were going.
  15. The Olympic teams need to make it worthwhile for men to leave their pro teams. No women play pro. If a homeless guy wins a free room in a Super8 he’ll definitely go, if Christiano Renaldo wins that room he ain’t going, period. Canadian women can play sports like soccer, unlike women in places like Saudi Arabia. Also, in general, women are far more active in sports here than in the rest of the world. For men’s soccer it’s the exact opposite- hardly any Canadian men play soccer but globally a very large percentage of men play soccer. There are less than 5M people in Croatia yet they made it to the world cup final. That’s like if BC had a team that made it that far. Safe to say that 90% of men there play soccer, a lot.
  16. The ultimate hypocrisy is the fact that Singh is a terrorist supporter himself: https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/as-jagmeet-singh-condemns-terrorism-second-video-shows-him-speaking-alongside-sikh-separatist This isn't a case of "the white bogeyman". This is a case of Singh himself speaking alongside actual terrorists like it's no big deal.
  17. If people can say that they're trans to compete in women's sports then they can also pretend to be trans to bid on gov't contracts. On the bright side, it actually doubles the number of bathrooms that you can use.
  18. Actually, if you think about it, soccer almost is like foot sex for about 100M people.
  19. Surely you realize that you're an outlier, right? Some people prefer playing with women's feet to having intercourse. When one person likes it that doesn't make it mainstream.
  20. Maybe just nail-biters. 5-0, 7-0, etc. Point being, no one goes to see team USA’s women because of the amazing athletic spectacle. They go to see Team USA. Who would go watch Team USA disrespect the USA?
  21. I never said that they'd just 'beat them'. Look closer. The worst team in the Scottish Premier League would beat them too, 100x in a row unless hey started drinking Scotch during the games. No one watches them because of their soccer ability. They watch them because it's the US Olympic Team. But now they're not so much a national team, just a bunch of disrespectful douchebags.
  22. You vastly underestimate the power of the media. The media forms people's opinions, 100%. Not just a few people, but a strong majority. That's because most people actually don't think for themselves at all, they just gobble up propaganda like hungry pit bulls, and like Mr Twain said: "It's easier to fool a person than to convince them that they have been fooled". For example: 99% of people will say that Trudeau fought covid successfully but he botched literally everything, 100%. He didn't actually do a single, solitary thing until March 16th aside from give very bad advice, allow planeloads of infected people in, let them wander freely without being screened, got his own wife infected with covid, gave away all our PPE to China and got back junk, ordered Chinese vaccines instead of American ones (then we had to poach vaccines from the 3rd-world-country pool, Canadians didn't care because they weren't told to care), and hid in his basement. Then he held press conferences, pretending that they were models of covid safety because he was socially distanced, but there were 15 reporters huddled under a tent together. They pretended that the lab leak theory was bunk, that healthy people and kids were at risk of dying, etc. Canada has the world's 39th-highest population, universal health care, we are 189th in population density, we're on a different continent from where the virus originated, and we were top ten to 5,000 covid deaths. There are metropolitan areas (Tokyo for example) with populations comparable to our entire country who had far less deaths than we did. Their population density is higher than ours by orders of magnitude. If they had Trudeau's leadership they'd have hundreds of thousands of deaths. Literally everything that Canadians think that they understand about C19 was wrong, and they could have easily figured it out if they though about it, but they are incredibly stupid and they just regurgitate what they hear. Our media gave Trudeau a shining star and Canadians believe that he was our saviour. Honestly, go ask some Canadians what they think of Trudeau's 'fight' against covid. You'll laugh. The media controls Canadians, outright.
  23. They're a laughing stock, and the balance here is that they're also stupid enough to alienate most of their fans. Stupid - they're forgetting that people don't go to see them because their soccer is at the highest level possible, they go to see Team USA. If fans just wanted to see soccer they could go to MLS games, or watch soccer games from Europe on TV, they would never choose to watch women's soccer. Juventus, Celtic, Ajax or any other European Premier league team would beat the USA women by double digits, the women wouldn't score a single goal in 50 matches.
  24. I didn't know anyone cared that much about provincial politics. Was it Alberta NDP? The only time that I ever suspected that I was targeted for my brilliant political commentary was after the Pulse Nightclub Shooting. It was about a week after the shooting and there was a gay parade in NYC where the lemmings were carrying a 40-foot-wide banner saying "Republican Hate Kills" (a reference to the fact that Demmies were blaming the GOP for the attack instead of islamic bigotry/terrorism, which is what the killer felt like he was supporting when he killed those people). I made some awesome comment on the NYC pride site about how much of an insult it was to the victims when the LGBTQers switched the blame for those deaths just to support their own political causes. The idiots there tried to troll me but it was hilarious, and then within an hour I got two calls on my cel from different numbers in the NY/NJ area. Whoever called me didn't say anything, but something also went wrong with my computer and I had to shut it down. I have a Mac, so that has only happens a couple times per decade. It could have been random, but there are a lot of extremely rabid and hostile leftists out there whose little wrists are only strong enough to click keys on a keyboard or make a phone call. Whatever, I still get a kick out of making fun of leftists.
