Demonstrations against migrants in Europe.
OftenWrong replied to taxme's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
People are afraid to speak out for what's right in Canada, because of too much leftist influence in the courts and universities. These days you only need to be accused, not even proven guilty of saying something that's not politically correct and your toast. That's why Chretien is choking me in the picture, I dared to speak out when it was inconvenient. -
Health care wait times at 20 year high in Canada
OftenWrong replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The problem goes beyond government. Hospital administration is incompetent and extremely wasteful. There's too many high paid directors and managers, not enough front line staff. Most of the nurses are not even full-time workers any more, thanks to the administrative model of human resources. Meanwhile these folk (admin) collect some of the finest paychecks in the province, especially in the public sector. There is no serious accountability. And where there is, it's a facade. They write reports and simply lie. Utterly incorrigible. -

Hey, who edited my post? I didn't type no F***. I thought this was an adult board. I mean, if the incumbent POTUS can say "grab em by the pussy", what the hades? Who's running this place, the Order of Victorian Nuns? Anyway, in 1992 I was just a young, impetuous fella, fulla piss and vinegar. Much like yourself, I assume. -
I dunno, they look like a couple of swan divers to me. I thought he was going to give a french kiss for a second there.

Worked fine in Iraq before about 1992. Tell you one thing, hugs and flowers won't work. Obama- "Let good feelings prevail." ISIS- "F*** you". -
Meanwhile here you are, you and cybercoma, attacking Argus when he wasn't talking to you. Gee I wonder why a person might get excited. See "Drive-by trolling: Redux."

No. I knew you might be concerned about that, hence I inserted the qualifier "within reasonable limits, of course." Because, yeah I know...

The country is splintered into factions that don't cooperate. Sunnis vs Shiites vs Kurds, vs. whatever. There's no chance for democracy if they hate each other. What they need is a strongman... a brutal dictator to take charge and keep things in order. Someone who can unite the country into protecting itself, by FORCE. -

War is an extra-judicial process. But did Donald Trump really doubt Barrack Hussein's loyalty to America? Donald Trump praises Barack Obama "Speaking to the press after his meeting with President Obama, President-elect Donald Trump praised Obama as a "good man" in response to questions from a reporter." A traitor is not good man, so what did he mean? Donald Trump is so perplexing. Contemplate this on the tree of woe. -
We helped the natives in the old days, we even offered them blankets. But now we find that we cannot help much more, even if we try. You see, on many native reservations they don't even have clean hot and cold water, flush toilets nor electricity, let alone a playstation 4. When we sent them a truckload of free nintendos they had no where to plug them in. They tried to play football with them instead, but they are not even round. Sending them aid was pointless. So then the grand chiefs sold the nintendos and made 10 million in cash. But the chiefs didn't share the money with their people. They built mansions for themselves on the reserve, beautiful extravagant places with jacuzzis for horses. They take all the money that Canada gives into their own pockets, while the rest of the tribe still squats in the bush. The next, most logical step is to let a white man run the tribe. https://encrypted.google.com/#q=canada+first+nations+embezzlement

President Trump's cabinet

I'm aware of it. That was in the news about 3-4 weeks go. They declared Trump a fool and that all was going perfectly well in Mosul. Today we hear news of mass executions of civilians in advance of the announced invasion. They butchered thousands and put their bodies in mass graves, where they knew the troops would come through. A macabre welcome wagon. I don't think they would of done that, had they not known about the invasion. The objective of ISIS is to create an islamic state, not a graveyard and had they believed that they held control without challenge, they would have subjugated the people into living according to wahhabism. Those generals doomed any chance of a quick success, and doomed all those people. Note that Wahhabism extends out of Saudi Arabia, those good friends and financial supporters of the Clintons. That can explain a lot of things... -

How did this all happen? Who knows Wilder. I guess Obama knows. But rather than speculate or give armchair advice I'll support my earlier proposition- Trump is right that secrecy and surprise are important military weapons. Telling your enemies "we will attack you on September 9th" is stupid idea. -

They had plenty of time to fortify their defenses, and bring in extra resources. It's a pity. -

Hence my suggestion, "Air Support". Drop them outside the defended area, but in a location where they can be effective in a short time. Covert operations are necessary. I don't know. But when they are all held hostage by inhuman ISIS dogs, they are as they like to say in the ME, "Dead Men Walking". -

Excuses... everybody's got one. The element of surprise is not the most important thing, but it is still A thing. It worked on D-Day. How about drop in 50,000 paratroopers with air support. Surround the whole city. Blitzkrieg the bastards. Some colateral damage is acceptable, and still better than leaving the whole city at the mercy of those filthy dogs. Use short, swift strokes, I mean strikes! -

When did I say that? Please quote the relevant section, so I know what you mean. I don't think Obama is a traitor, or enemy of the US. He was their president for two terms. Maybe not a great one, perhaps he tried to reach out and compromise too much, and was generally unsuccessful. It seems the world does not respect a conciliatory and nice guy as the supreme leader. Tyrannical strong-man on the other hand... :D -
I like young people, because they are not as jaded yet as the rest of us. Yes, they can have a naive view of things, not being the learned professors that you people purport to be, and that's ok by me. Because everyone is on a path, and who they are now is not who they will be. They deserve to be engaged and accepted, within reasonable limits of course, not put down just because they're "different".

President Trump's cabinet
OftenWrong replied to Derek 2.0's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Thats a bit of a stretch. I meant the enemies of the United States, like ISIS in Mosul, for example. Trump criticized the announcement that was released long before the invasion was to take place.A few weeks in he said it was going badly, much to the indignation of some General. Judging by recent media reports I'd say he was right. Upon hearing that troops were on their way, ISIS slaughtered the civilians and laid thousands of booby-traps. Trump demonstrates how to control and manipulate the message. Not only to inform, but when appropriate... to disinform. The shit is chess, not checkers... -

I didn't "give" Trump anything. He hasn't done much yet to make a judgement on. I think there's too much hyperventilating about his every move. Not only what he says or might say, but now he's condemned for who likes him. Pretty sure the man already disavowed those KKK guys, what more do you people want? His Blood? A manic Trump derangement syndrome exists among leftists. It's been that way all along, starting with his campaign before the election. Donald Trump also fueled this speculation, probably on purpose. I mean, for better or worse the media could not stop talking about him, every day, all day. And they still are. "What's Trump doing now???" Tune in. Personally I couldn't stand the never-ending speculation on CNN, and on Canadian news as well. Panels giving their opinion on what Trump was going to say or do spent hours arguing about it on TV. It whipped the public into a new definition of hysteria. For some, great fear. For others, great cheering that the long-awaited shit kicking was about to begin. Trump admitted recently that he said what he had to say, to win. I suspect that had it played out any other way, we would have had President Clinton today. So pick your poison. -

Or perhaps you are making assumptions without knowing the facts. Although I am not a "supporter" (what support can I give?) I do find it a little disappointing that he's not following through on his assertion he will appoint a special prosecutor to go after Hillary Clinton. But then, you never know what is happening behind the scenes. He might still intend to do that, at least get someone he trusts give him real answers. Not necessarily tell the world about it though. Donald Trump has already made it clear that secrecy is important when going after enemies.
