  1. Yes, it's called dirty politics.
  2. Leftists used the child's death as a political weapon, even before all the facts were in. The child is their new Kasshoggi. What we are seeing here is a twisted use of the idea that "The death of one is a tragedy", a phrase which, interestingly has roots coming from... where again? Oh yeah. This is intended to prompt some kind of reaction from the right, of course. MH engages in the very sins he purports himself to be against, disruptive politics.
  3. No the sad joke is you, politicizing the death of a child. That is why I called your posts inflammatory.
  4. Hey MH, maybe use some tylenol before posting. It helps reduce inflammation.
  5. "News of my death is greatly exaggerated."
  6. Christmas shopping ends in T minus...

      Good idea. Chinese grocer?

  7. As the forum goes, so goes the world...

  8. I don't think so. I believe this already started before she was detained. How about a moratorium on new members during the holidays? Since it is likely the forum will continue to be attacked, and the moderator could probably use a break. He might need to go celebrate Christmas, or something. I know we want to allow new folks to come in but it appears we can't lt them do that without some kinda oversight. Perhaps we need some kind of vetting process where each new member is an "applicant". They should not have the same rights as others who have already been here. We need to put up barriers to prevent new applicants from running amok in the forum.
  9. I was hoping you'd say yeah, they opened again but it seems you're sadly misinformed. "Gee, I haven't seen my favourite ale in a while now." Well guess what, because it's fucking dead you twit! Never get a man's hopes up about beer, damn you!
  10. Didn't know they made Tetley's again, I thought the brewery closed down last year.
  11. The Poser Man might do it anyway, for the optics.
  12. A little hard to understand why there is any legal restriction. What was the apology and the $10M all about then?
  13. No doubt Khadr will get a passport and go to Mecca. Once there, how can he be hailed as anything less than a hero to Islam? He fought and defeated the great Satan, practically as a child. He suffered in a cell in Guantanamo. He emerged as if by miracle, not only to be freed from the clutches of evil Americans, but to be given an apology and a great financial reward. Khadr is a now rich man. You could make a movie about this guy. So no doubt, he will be famous. The timing of this spectacle could not be worse for Justin Trudeau, in that this could take a while to go away, and Khadr will then make arrangements for his trip to Mecca. The Hajj is in August... next federal election in October. Politically speaking, Khadr is as toxic as Polonium 210.
  14. Look on the bright side. At least this way they might save the ales...
  15. The EU is certainly not going to want Brexit to be seen as a good move for the Brits, for obvious reasons. PM May must be in a virtual panic as her available options keep getting smaller and smaller. Yet she somehow seems to remain quite calm and resolute. Britain owes her for having the courage to stick with it and see it through, rather than bailing and handing power to others at a critical, even dangerous time. However, I don't think giving it more time is going to help anymore. I think the news today was yet another nail in the coffin for Globalism. This episode will feed already growing resentment at migrant/refugee integration based on terms of the EU, and will have repercussions elsewhere.
  16. That sounds logical. I think I would have to agree with you there...
  17. Be interesting to see how this turns out. I suspect little Omar will be hailed as a hero when he returns. A rich man who beat the odds, and beat the West at their game. Whether intentional or not, his situation is what it is. Actually good that Omar should remain in the news as much as possible, to shock the Canadian conscience.
  18. Confuscious say: "When international law conflict with international trade, may you live in interesting times..."

  19. The Liberal guy, Stephane Dion.
  20. I would like to see a coalition, if necessary, to defeat Justin Trudeau. Scheer and Bernier running things is better than Scheer alone, and far better than another Trudeau government. Bernier should have a voice.
  21. I doubt it. Most likely the request has to be honoured under the extradition treaty agreement.
  22. You tough guys are really something. What if there was no bathroom? Then you'd have no place to sit down and go pee.
  23. Conservatives have spoken up, and quite eloquently. They elected Doug Ford.
