  1. Things that were not counted as hate crimes before are being counted now. When a report says Hate Crimes have increased, it means the number reported has increased. It doesn't necessarily mean the actual number has increased compared to previous years. The Agency report says that it recognizes some of the increase is due to more people reporting now than they did before. How much? - I cannot answer if it is cause for alarm without knowing the details. I think it's reasonable to believe that hate crimes against Muslims would increase, as hate is increasing in all directions and is in fact what the Islamacists want. But in Canada I think the hate-crime number was already fairly low in magnitude, so it could easily be doubled without cause for much alarm.
  2. I usually do not post without looking things up. You can view the statistics from here- https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/refugees/asylum-claims/processed-claims.html If you are having further difficulty, feel free to ask. Best, OW
  3. The definition of hate crime has also changed. One should be wary of statistics, and those who promote them.
  4. But it really makes you want to go get your shovel, right? Admit it...
  5. What makes you think that is what Bernier actually believes, himself? I don't think it is.
  6. Let' say the influx since 2017 is 20,000 a year. The average before 2017 was 5,000 a year. That is what they are prepared to handle.
  7. He's saying that Trudeau's logic is a double-standard. Trudeau believes that words used to identify a group associated with terrorism must avoid the impression that this is a trait of the whole group. To some extent it depends on what Trudeau meant by White Supremacy.
  8. Surely you're aware of the sudden influx of people crossing into Canada illegally that has overwhelmed the system? That is a real and continuing problem. The backlog is huge now and has put strain on other resources, including housing for the homeless. It's my understanding that the government is scrambling to find places for these refugee applicants to stay, including use of hotels and resorts, which the taxpayer is covering. That's a separate issue. The third problem is that Mr. Trudeau has politicized the issue himself. He portrays the Liberal party as the only ones who care about immigration. Of course, the other parties must now defend their position. Immigration is a high profile topic in the political debate, sustained by the immoderate PM himself.
  9. It's great that we're educating so many people on here, about the Global Warmings.
  10. The way I read it, Bernier is saying the opposite. He thinks it's absurd to associate the word "Sikh Extremists" with Sikhs in general, and I agree with that. If the government identifies a group of terrorists as Sikh Extremists, it doesn't make me think all Sikhs are extremist. But it does demonstrate the liberal inability to discriminating things very clearly and precisely.
  11. No one can respond if its closed, doh.
  12. It says the poll is closed. ?
  13. We don't always plan very effectively. We are not doing it properly right now, the evidence is there if you are willing to acknowledge it. In recent times this government has had to make changes to their position on how to handle the influx of people who call themselves refugees, but who do not qualify. This has a ripple effect throughout the system creating a huge backlog, and refugee applicants cannot be processed in a reasonable time due to huge backlog. The problem continues to grow. This is a valid topic for discussion, just like anything else. Also, the idea of taking orders from corporate Canada? Sorry, no. We know what they hold as dear to their hearts, nothing but money. It is quite interesting that they would take a political position on immigration. Very interesting.
  14. I already said what I would do if it were me. Twice in fact, as it seems you people don't like to read.
  15. Beautiful thing to watch, isn't it... Evolution in action.
  16. Really love this piece, though its message might be a bit too intellectual for some.
  17. Is Mohammad the guy in the leopard Speedo?
  18. What we need are This Week in Islams showing Muslims are fighting the Islamic terrorists, and developing strategies to counter the spread of Islamic fundamentalist ideology. But they don't
  19. It doesn't matter, it's just my opinion. At issue to me here is the question of public awareness. Again, it is my opinion that most normal people would expect something to be done, and the government should see to it that it gets done in an effective way. That is what we expect from our government. You seem to miss my point that there is no line, when there is a sense of responsibility. Responsibility means doing things regardless of whose fault it is. that has not happened here, it seems. I would like to know why that is, and if it turns out it's because the contamination is not real, just a myth, then you people can go to the devil.

CBC news shows a guy in Ottawa telling the news that Trudeau’s security detail was delaying delivery of sand bags to be filled while Trudeau had his photo op pretending to help fill sand bags. Lol

I have always wondered if these people have screwed themselves somehow, with the James Bay Hydroelectric Project. Such impressive feats of engineering against nature usually do not go unanswered.

  21. Nothing. But you were talking about me just then, weren't you? You know, the right-wing demon from hell who haunts your dreams. That's me. coming to get you, tnight
  22. Yes it has gone on for a long while. That's been said already too. I certainly don't need to be told to be respectful by you, so keep your sanctimonious "advice" to yourself.
  23. Stop extrapolating to the absurd.
