  1. Just for that we're not going to help at all. Out of spite.
  2. Extending it to craziness is always crazy. If you mean threatened to nuke NK, is there any circumstance at all in which you think it would be appropriate to make that threat? Or is it just out, no matter what. Don't know enough about economics to answer your what-ifs, but I suggest not to lose sleep over it. Count the good things you have. Prosperity good, increased production good, low unemployment good. Consumer confidence go up? Good. Don't know what his ratings are now, but I thought someone said they were at the highest ever. The man cannot be stopped. No matter how many times you bash him down, he gets up again and comes back even stronger.
  3. If a man from Afghanistan holds those abhorrent views, he will most likely hold them over the people in his family, his wife and daughters. What about that then?
  4. Sorry but there wouldn't be a lot of posting going on if we implemented those rules. Disingenuousness abounds.
  5. I haven't seen anyone in the list yet that could be a credible threat to Trump. Why do you not want more Trump, when the nation is doing very well by most indications. Also it's reassuring that so far, Trump has more or less kept the peace. He has threatened war but seems more keen on making a deal than dropping bombs.
  6. Not when done by Progressive Conservatives.
  7. Interesting. To me he's like the cute little child who lives next door. Retared
  8. What are you trying to say now, what opinion of mine is a common one? I said she failed to do the job, in part because she lost power by her own blundering, but in addition there are many forces at play here.
  9. Surely they DO know enough by now, yet there are many who still support it. And growing as you point out, so it isn't going to go away just yet. This is a real thing peopl ebelieve and want, not a mistake.
  10. I'm sure the people who want brexit wholeheartedly disagree with you that it is Cameron's "fault", or that Brexit is wrong or undemocratic, or that there should be a do-over just because people don't like the answer. Shall we keep doing do-overs until the referendum gives you the preferred result? Rubbish If anything it's Cameron's fault that he had to resign, and not get to deliver Brexit. If that is what you mean then yes, it is. May still had the opportunity to use the majority her party had, but in a most bizarre and stupid move she gave that up. That created even more chaos than Brexit itself, and now there is only confusion about the direction. From there on, Brexit is undermined. I can only imagine the EU is against Brexit. Next up might be mad Boris Johnson, will be interesting if he takes the helm I'd bet.
  11. Nonsense. It's not arithmetic, this is about statistics. And statistics is based on theory about data in a distribution, not a precise arithmetic answer. Statistics is my favourite subject, can you guess why?
  12. No. It occurred quite a while ago, so good luck finding that in this wonderful age of "information".
  13. I think that Brexit is a valid statement. Brexit is a voice that should be heard. At the point after the democratic referendum, that is what we are talking about, and what really happened. Just because you don't agree with Brexit doesn't make it Cameron's fault.
  14. Agree with whatever you like, history is a statement of reality. She had her mandate, referendum result. She declared her intentions. It is my understanding that she was accused of political machinations, greed was her motivator as she saw a chance to secure more power whenher opposition was weak. Snap election called, despite advice not to do it. Now, that is from memory and I shall not bother to find you links. You already forgot.
  15. This is math now, not everyone's forte. Stick to counting fish
  16. These are the data points for min-max. Each data point is a finite slice of weather, while the whole of this data might be summed to produce one data-point called "climate". Now to talk about climate change you must compare that with samples of a similar size. However the accuracy of the data going back centuries is another question, especially, min-max data in a given year. So all you can say for now about the data on the right is, there has been a spate of rising temperatures, several years of warm weather. This might be a trend but it's also possible that we may have a round of cool weather. Climate models show that the effects of global warming will not become significant for about 100 years, and will continue worsening over the next few centuries, so statistically this is what should happen. There is a tendency to hype up any bad weather event as effects of global warming. Also certain municipalities are taking the "progressive" step of declaring an official "Climate Emergency" when there is no emergency at all in that city or region. Weather's absolutely fine. These statements are purely political and should not be using the declaration of "emergency" frivolously. https://www.thewhig.com/news/local-news/city-council-declares-climate-emergency-in-kingston
  17. Yes, a summation of the data over 150 years says something about climate.
  18. I know, shut off the darn leftist spell-checker.
  19. Come on, good records only go back about 100 - 150 years. You are being conned if you think this is it.
  20. Nonsense, we don't want it all to burn... just your part.
  21. Ahh backsliding, thy name is liberal. But what if I don't WANT to have an open mind, because this is about science, not belief. It's been my understanding that what is happening now is not it yet. Forest fires happen all the time, for various reasons. But what is happening is a spreading sense of climate fear, such that almost any bad weather is now being held up as an example of the impending "climate emergency".
  22. In regards to 1, your earlier comment that there's a wide range of predictions indicates otherwise. So which is it? 2) Unseasonably cold here in eastern ON. As it was last spring.
  23. That said, we cut down great swaths of rainforest, even though scientists back in the 80's, some 40 years ago, warned that it would bring grave danger. I guess people forgot about that one too.
  24. Yes, it's so easy to forget things these days it seems.
  25. Didn't know that being a basketball fan makes you "multicultural".
