  1. Iran is accused of sponsoring terrorist groups. Nation invasion is old-school war. Also I think the main issue with the ME is entirely a chess-board for superpowers to play around in, and ME countries are caught in the middle. The US might never invade Iran but we all know what the meddling is all about. Any US aggression toward Iran is a veiled attempt at casting hurt on China and the USSR.
  2. Yet the only meaningful condemnation that could lead to reformation should come from within Islam itself. But if the leadership of Islam has been taken over by these apostates, that could take centuries, if it happens at all. Hence the inclination among many, they must be removed from leadership, their authority must be removed. There are very few ways to do that.
  3. I doubt any of those incidents are done in the name of Islam. More likely they are done in the name of more power and profit.
  4. No, but it's still their fault...
  5. It's fine to talk about what people believe in and say they have misinterpreted the religious texts according to their own ends and means. They can be dismissed as apostates. What I find harder to dismiss is what religious leaders of Islam themselves are saying. These are the shepherds who teach common folk what the obscure words in the holy books actually mean, and how it should be interpreted in a modern context. What are the Ayatollahs and the majority of Imams saying? What is their message to the people? Harsh intolerance pervades Islamic belief, both in the book (as it does in other old books) and in the streets. And it comes from the top level of religious leadership, with good agreement among a majority of theologians. All males, of course. To me it's the misogyny and over-arching patriarchy that is the most problematic.
  6. Not sure I agree with your economics. The number of lobsters allowed to be fished is limited by a licence. At least that's how I understand these things work, I could be wrong. But if so, it means they cannot haul out significantly more lobsters to send to the Chinese. What they can do though, is up the price. ETA- Link One needs to learn the rules of fishing...
  7. You seem to support government meddling with their silly cultural experiments, government to provide cheap housing to welfare drug addicts and move the refugees to rural areas, to fill in all the non-existent jobs you believe are out here.
  8. I think there should be some kind of litmus test, or evaluation. Maybe an arbiter who gets to decide who lives, and who dies. "Live!" <bangs gavel> "Die!" <bangs gavel> "Die!" ...
  9. Look at it this way, people are unstable and make mistakes in judgement all the time. Leftists are constantly whining things like, "Oh, you won't kill me. It's so unfair!" Does that mean they deserve to die? No. They might grow up to be right wingers.
  10. Indeed... blessed is the neo-leftist atheist death cult.
  11. Yeah but here you are, cheering for 'em like a 16 year old girl.
  12. I think what the Quebec'rs wrote is not rigged. Is there anything wrong or unfair with the values they listed? No.
  13. Yes there are cultural values. If you don't know it, it's because you are not Canadian!
  14. I'm sure you will. And I'm sure the government will do a good job handling it too. Just as I'm sure whatever jobs they create will thrive, long after the government cheese runs out.
  15. We have new affordable housing built here. All bums moved in.
  16. You must have quoted the wrong guy here. Let me be clear- I'm agin it!
  17. Yeah they're even more stretched in small rural communities. As in, non existent. Dumping immigrants in small towns cannot work, unless more resources are provided. There's no jobs either. Wherever they go, more is needed. So this "experiment" is just another stupid Liberal exercise.
  18. Those stats are questionable, but even if they do indicate a real increase, I do not see how you can credit Mr. Trudeau for that. Liberals have no magic formula. If anything, an increase in production and work with our biggest trading partner has a spill-over effect towards us, and that means more jobs right there. So in other words, thanks again to Donald Trump. - No people in the world like to have strangers come into their community, especially if the newcomers don't/ won't or cannot integrate. Small towns are mono-cultures, atomic units of rural Canadian culture. They are like squares in the mosaic. At what point do squares have a right to be protected.
  19. For the same reason the world continues to support and will not attack the United States of America.
  20. We all get the DoFo we deserve.

  21. It is profitable do more business with your allies and less with your enemies... in America under President Trump.
  22. Totally not. My impression of this is that the Queen really likes Donald Trump.
