The convoy folks blocked borders, impacted trade and bothered people in their homes. So ask those questions.

I do want to point out that - although 'lie' is unprovable - there is at the core here perhaps a legitimate complaint about the economic impact reporting. Since the OP has at least given us a source to look at who is making a claim and what it is, it's worth looking at. Looking back at the wording of the reporting from February, I see lots of complaints about "potential" losses and "delays" Not as easy to find a prediction of actual losses. Auto Industry folks who deal in just-in-time manufacturing and know the real numbers hour to hour had the most specific - and it looks like accurate also - numbers. And articles of the time that talk to analysts are pretty specific on numbers. So it's best to encourage rational discussion and - OBJECTIVITY. So look for some good methods and well-sourced facts in the arguments of people you disagree with ExFlyer and promote those.

The bottom line is that property and freedom are mutually inclusive. You really can’t have one without the other. There is high inflation all over the world. The damn pandemic Interruption to supply chain, Ukraine invasion you name it caused high inflation in every country in the world and Canada is not immune. It is very hard for everyone as salaries don't keep up with the pace of inflation. Housing is going totally out of control and gas and grocery up significantly as well. Inflation rate for the main items of vital importance like housing, food and gas are far more than the statistical inflation rate and this makes it much worse for average person.

I was going to write a brief to the House of Commons committee which is considering medical assistance in dying for the mentally ill, but I decided against it after composing the brief. They have a system where they accept briefs or letters from individuals up until a certain date, only a few days from now. It is in it's third reading and looks like it is going through. But I realized my name would be on record and the people in the committee and government are not trustworthy as they are most likely secular humanists and anti-God and anti-bible. Therefore, since my letter would be Bible-based, and argue what I believe God thinks about it all, it would be like sending a letter to a bunch of wackos, people hostile to righteousness and biblical values. Not a wise idea. I don't see any possibility any good could come of it. Existing legislation and policy proves the government is anti-God and anti-Christian. The PM proves almost daily they have no use or respect for Judeo-Christian values. So I don't see any use of trying to deal with them. I don't see much hope for the future of this country. It is on a downward spiral. God calls individuals out of the world to become his sons and daughters and be not a part of this evil world system.
