you don't have an argument your argument is I'm wrong and the experts agree with you I am the one with the actual argument you are the one who retorts with nothing but fallacies you can't even think for yourself you let "experts" determine your opinion, even if said experts have no proof of their ridiculous assertions themselves you are the one making positive assertions you can't back up I have backed mine up repeatedly2 points

appeal to authority fallacy it is on the "experts" to prove they are right until then, they are just racists talking out of their ass you are a fool for believing their moronic conclusions just because they are "experts" you are supporting blatant racism as long as "experts" also support it eugenics used to be supported by the "experts" too that didn't make them right and it didn't make them any less racist hiding behind "expertise" either you would probably have fallen for that scam too the "experts" agreed after all and had "science" to support their moronic claims and you are a quite the sucker for appeals to authority2 points

That's what I find interesting about the Omicron variant. See, before it came along we were following the UK's path such that first the vaccine stopped protecting from infection and then it stopped protecting from hospitalizations and deaths. About 4 months after the UK had their second doses, their hospitalizations were 50/50 split for all ages but a staggering 78% double vaxxed for those over 50 (the demographic that matters most). Deaths were also overwhelmingly with the double vaxxed as well since most people in that age group were vaxxed. This proved that the vaccines waned. Even if Omicron hadn't hit us, the percentages would start switching anyway simply because of this waning effect. Add Omicron now that really evades the vaccines and you have immediate switching for cases but its unclear for hospitalizations. The point to all this is two fold: 1. Vaccines wane which is why they are pushing so heavily for boosters 2. You really need to stop polarizing the issue between vaxxed and unvaxxed and realize the real dichotomy is between young/healthy versus old/pre-existing conditions.2 points

None of the examples you listed are the work of the woke. The woke are irrationals. For an identified issue, they always find out the worst imaginable solution. It always create more problems than it solves and it is always arranged in a way that it creates as much conflicts as possible. The woke do not ground with reality and they avoid facts. If Matt Damon admits he once used a sexist expression that he won't use anymore, the woke will do a public trial against him and request that ne never do anymore movie ever. If a racist director at university that is long time gone, gave a racist nickname to a 3 billions years old rock, the woke will blame the rock and accuse the rock of being racist. If a white guy is doing surf on the sea, he will be accused of cultural appropriation by the woke, just because people of Hawai were doing it before the whites. That is what woke look like.2 points

Most of the hospitalizations come from 30+ in the unvaccinated group. On the other hand, most of the hospitalizations come from the 50+ in fully vaccinated age group. This would indicate, comparing older age groups, the hospitalizations are nearly equal, at 100 per million unvaccinated to 95 per million fully vaccinated. The point is that for the older generation, vaccination and hospitalizations are nearly identical irrelevant of vaccine status. Even the death rate is higher for 70+ fully vaccinated group than for the 70+ unvaccinated. Hence, In terms of data analysis, age and preexisting health conditions, would be primary predictors of expected outcomes. Since most of the deaths occur in the 50+ age group, we could focus on treating those in the 50+ age group and maintaining health in that 50+ age group, instead of focusing on vaccine status for the groups below the 50+.1 point

Shen Yun 2021-2022 is coming to Canada and U.S.A. in dozens of cities across America and cities in Canada, including Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver. A number of shows in Vancouver March. It is sold as the rebirth of 5000 years of culture in China before the Communist Revolution. Shen Yun 2021-22 in Canada This is a major extravaganza show. Tickets in Vancouver are listed at $138 to $440 depending on seating area. You can watch the trailer of the show at: Shen Yun Performing Arts Tickets | 26th March | Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, Canada It nowhere reflects Communist China as it is today and does not claim to. The west are open democracies and likely do not have the power to prevent such events, while China is a tightly controlled totalitarian state and can do whatever the party wants at the snap of fingers of the supreme leader. As Trudeau said when he praised them, they can "turn on a dime".1 point

The short answer is: we have freedom. We're supposed to believe that bad ideas die and yet people worry endlessly about bad ideas. Also WHEN IS THIS SHOW COMING AND TO WHERE ?1 point

Well that should be a personal choice. It’s clear in some US states that the governments have finally backed off of restrictions. Most people — most of them healthy and young or at least fully vaccinated (but not all) — are living much as they did before the pandemic: shopping and working unmasked, meeting friends at bars, attending crowded events, living normally. Guess what? The sky isn’t falling. Some of them get Covid. Sometimes it leads to more serious illness. More rarely, they die. Hospitals are managing. The vulnerable and/or fearful are taking more precautions. As Omicron becomes the dominant strain, it’s likely that most people will get this variant, and the vast majority of them will avoid hospitalization and serious illness. Are we reaching endemic? I think so, but no one will announce its arrival. There’s no certainty that occasional mass outbreaks won’t occur and that people won’t die. Better treatments in the form of accessible pills are coming. The biggest challenge going forward, I believe, is our unwillingness to accept a level of risk that we can’t eliminate. For how many more months or years do we mask up and count cases and contact trace? Is that really how we want to live? Again, it’s the paranoid and controlling we have to worry about more than death from Covid. We know how to protect ourselves in reasonable ways. Now let us live our lives. End all restrictions for good. Personal liberty and responsibility are critical to maintaining a free society. We’ve sacrificed enough and suffered too many non-Covid injuries to continue down this totalitarian path.1 point

The major question is; why do we allow Chinese media when Chinese media censors our media? Why is it only one way, just like why do we accept all of their imports and accept their jobs theft, but they do not accept our exports? The answer might me that there is an interest from the higher ups in our own country to serve CCP. We must not confuse ourselves by pointing the finger toward people 10000km away for the real foe. It is not China, it is not the CCP. It is the Conservative Party, the Liberals and the NDP, alongside the financial elites in Toronto and in Montreal who are the ones we should blame.1 point

But, this is what the judge is saying. The judge observes that minorities fail the test more than others. The judge does not consider that the minorities are capable to cover the gap. Therefore, the outcome places the minorities into what he call, discrimination. His observations place a color on those minorities and there you go, the tests are out of sudden, racists. It is a very narrowed point of view. Now let's see it from another angle. If we put our observations further, we would probably notice that the minorities often coming from a background of community living in poverty and an environment of lower quality education in their sector. Therefore, if we address that problem from that angle, we would come to the conclusion that those schools need a better improvement of their teaching quality. If money is an issue, we could take measures to make sure those students have the same chances as the "white" ones do. Once we know every one starts on the basis and same chances, we would expect that the ratio of success is mostly the same for every one else. The judge and you, prefer to avoid the test. Other people like me, prefer to make sure every one gets the same conditions to succeed the test. It's two opposite approaches. Yours is based on the race. You conclude that few races are inferiors, so the tests must be avoided because those people just cannot make it. Mine is rather a problem of education context and should be address as is. Stating that the test is unconstitutional, is one of the biggest insult to intelligence one could make. It is super extra woke.1 point

And 88% of Ontario-yos over 12 years old have been vaccinated. So vaccinations increase and cases increase. That's not a vaccine. There are more vaccinated than unvaccinated in Ontario hospitals but less than half as many in the ICU. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data That's a therapeutic, like Monoclonal antibodies, or Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin. Which is better? Who knows? The other 3 have never been properly considered. Big Pharma won't allow it. Adverse effects and potential future harm to the immune system seems to be a worse concern with the mRNA Pfizer, Moderna type therapeutic though. The best protection seems to remain natural immunity. Be nice to have easy access to all potential therapeutics and prophylactics though. Just in case.1 point

China has already won the battle against the USA. Generals in the US army are more interested in virtue signaling than actually fitting the army with suitable recruits. It's over. China won. Americans just haven't realized it yet. Canada is another one of China's bitches.1 point

It's not just Canada. I bet the majority of Congressmen in some way are compromised by China. Too much money to be made. I can't remember which Congressman it was but they had a tool business that manufactured in China. And let's be real. When have you ever heard a lawmaker say anything negative about China? In Canada, the Liberals have been tied with China since at least Martin with his shipping business.1 point

Empty homes or condos in Vancouver BC is a sign of foreign investment bought them just for investment. There are lots of empty condos in Vancouver owned by investors in China. Our governments have allowed foreigners to buy them up for decades and did nothing to stop it. Now Vancouver is the highest priced real estate in North America and one of the three highest in the world. Many liberals have close ties to China and a special affection for that place. We are going to be further propagandized by Shun Yen this spring, an extravant entertainment show about China before the Communist revolution. They say it is China "before the Communist revolution" but still the whole thing is to sell China as a place we should be connected to. We are not all that dumbed down. They can propagandize on a large scale like that in various cities in Canada because Canada is an open western democracy. See how far the west would get if we went to China and put on shows like that about how great the west is. You think the CCP would allow that to happen? Not a chance.1 point

Quebec brings fuck-all to the picnic, eats everyone else's sandwiches, then whines and bitches about it. Sad thing is, the rest of the picnic goers listen to the whining and bitching, and promise to bring more/better sandwiches. Nutshell: This country's fucked if Quebec's involved. Take the medicine, and shit this parasitic tapeworm out.1 point
