  1. Reminds me of an important quote. “Never underestimate the ability of Joe to #%*& things up.”

  2. That would depend on where and when Islam is practiced, Because it is different in each country or place... much like todays Christian values and ethics, But these Taliban do not follow Islamic teachings do they, and they certainly don't have better ethics...They are nothing more than common terrorist that should be put down like a rabid dog...They don't understand anything other than violence, death and destruction...and the need to enslave all the people of Afghanistan... It is a tragic that any afghans are dying at the hands of these Terrorist, Many more will die before this is over, and thousands more before the world does anything...Maybe this time we will hunt them all down like the dogs they are.

  3. Canada is totally out of control on immigration and refugees. Trudeau is an irresponsible leader who is way in over his head.

  4. I think that he's trying to sell the idea of bringing those people here as a positive for our country. It's just a fact of life that when most refugees come here they don't even speak the language and they don't have impressive job skills, they are usually a drain on the economy. That's a ridiculous assumption. Men in Afghanistan can pretend to be something that they're not and they can survive in Afghanistan. All they have to do is pretend to beat their wife up and they're solid with the Talis. Women who are educated are a target for murder. They will probably be raped first, but they are targets for execution. Do you have a cite for that?

  5. I wish there was a real conservative party. I’d love to see a party leader stand up in front of the press and say, “I’m pro life and a social conservative. I’m not thrilled about certain policies like gay marriage and I’m against right to die legislation that is a slippery slope towards euthanizing the elderly and patients who are expensive to treat.” I’d also support a leader who says, “We’re over-spending and saddling future generations with debt, so my first order of business will be to slash spending across departments by 10%.” Oh, and someone who raises honest questions about the values we’re importing under current immigration policy. It should be someone who aggressively promotes cutting imports from China, making Canada more self-sufficient in health and defence, and diversifying trade so we’re less dependent on exports to the US. I’d also like to see an end to identity politics and race-based favouritism, actually favouritism of any kind. End all the liberal pet projects and spend more on infrastructure that will make Canada more competitive, such as high speed rail. Encourage research and development and investments in new equipment to boost productivity. O’Toole isn’t a real conservative, but he’s probably the least damaging of the candidates. It doesn’t matter. Trudeau will win because of his charisma. Policy is a secondary consideration for the public, unfortunately. O’Toole has some interesting incentives for business investment, especially on tax policy, but he’s planning to spend far too much in my opinion.

  7. I am currently working for Canada's #1 survival prepper, who has a large YouTube following. We just got a call from a guy who is desperately trying to get his 24 yr old Afghani intern out of Kabul. She has ties to the US political scene due to having a surgery in the US. He is in sporadic contact with her, she is terrified. Trying to get into the Kabul airport, hoping a letter from the Kennedy family will get her on a plane. He says she will be either publicly executed because of her ties to US political figures (he mentioned Bush and Kennedy families) and because she is not a virgin or else married off to a 70 yr old man. He was asking for any suggestions on how she should act and prepare for a possible 5-10 day stay at the airport. It's heartbreaking. I fear for all the girls and women there. If I could get all of them out, I would. ?

  9. Certainly different factors affect whether or not towns burn down, but climate change is a major factor. Lytton, in case you missed, had the hottest days in Canada, ever, and was the hottest place anywhere in North America on Monday. Hot places more easily burn down; climate change creates hot places. Open your eyes, the climate is changing.
