  1. Cancel culture has to be halted. The fact is, we're flooding in people from the wrong places and then WE are "racist" for questioning non assimilation and conformity.

  2. I think you should roll another fat one and forget peeking out at western Canada. Yes, the west is unhappy, and yes, you've projected your stunted reality . . . yet again. Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and the Yukon would be a very viable country . . . European/Asian markets by sea. Food and fuel. Watch your tv shows and rest assured Canada is just a big happy picnic . . . .

  3. I think you are projecting. Is everybody so unhappy ? What kind of leverage would the Manitoban Republic have, with a population in between that of Trinidad and Estonia ? I think you should swallow your pride and watch some fine Canadian comedy like Just For Laughs/Juste Pour Rire and relax ?

  4. With that cancel culture leftist liberal mob of buffoons everything today is racist. I wonder do they get all pissed of when they look up in the sky and see white clouds? Hey, look all you cancel culture buffoons out there, even those clouds are racist. LOL. I wonder as too how much longer will it be before the White House is deemed to be too white looking for those cancel culture buffoons. They would no doubt love to see the day when the White House is looking more like a wonderful colorful looking rainbow. ?

  6. I mean sure. On the other hand it's hard to buy into a corporate health insurance plan, when all you have in trade is wampum.

  7. You vastly underestimate the power of the media. The media forms people's opinions, 100%. Not just a few people, but a strong majority. That's because most people actually don't think for themselves at all, they just gobble up propaganda like hungry pit bulls, and like Mr Twain said: "It's easier to fool a person than to convince them that they have been fooled". For example: 99% of people will say that Trudeau fought covid successfully but he botched literally everything, 100%. He didn't actually do a single, solitary thing until March 16th aside from give very bad advice, allow planeloads of infected people in, let them wander freely without being screened, got his own wife infected with covid, gave away all our PPE to China and got back junk, ordered Chinese vaccines instead of American ones (then we had to poach vaccines from the 3rd-world-country pool, Canadians didn't care because they weren't told to care), and hid in his basement. Then he held press conferences, pretending that they were models of covid safety because he was socially distanced, but there were 15 reporters huddled under a tent together. They pretended that the lab leak theory was bunk, that healthy people and kids were at risk of dying, etc. Canada has the world's 39th-highest population, universal health care, we are 189th in population density, we're on a different continent from where the virus originated, and we were top ten to 5,000 covid deaths. There are metropolitan areas (Tokyo for example) with populations comparable to our entire country who had far less deaths than we did. Their population density is higher than ours by orders of magnitude. If they had Trudeau's leadership they'd have hundreds of thousands of deaths. Literally everything that Canadians think that they understand about C19 was wrong, and they could have easily figured it out if they though about it, but they are incredibly stupid and they just regurgitate what they hear. Our media gave Trudeau a shining star and Canadians believe that he was our saviour. Honestly, go ask some Canadians what they think of Trudeau's 'fight' against covid. You'll laugh. The media controls Canadians, outright.

  8. The fanfare of freedom loving is not the same as caring for freedom. Loving freedom means being aware and alert, watching the government, stopping and preventing the abuses of power, not just compensating and apologizing long after. Loving freedom does not mean automatic engagement in colonial wars. Loving freedom does not mean war measures act on a single domestic threat. It doesn't mean two decades of "expertise" of pseudo experts like Charlie Smith in various courts and postponing judicial decisions on questionable epidemics measures. It does not mean travel from Wuhan sorry restrictive quarantines indefinitely on a dime without explanations and justifications. Loving freedom means watching the world, understanding it, changing and adapting to it. It means citizen representatives who hold powers responsible, not eat from their hands. And now, one of the next Canada days we better try to figure out which one it is.

  10. I think it's because men keep reading online articles about how they all morph into gorgeous hunks when then turn 50, while women "hit the wall". So they think they don't need to take good care of themselves and dress nicely. So they end up, like you said, looking 10 years older than they are, haggard, tired... That's why I refuse to buy into the societal trope that older women are all ugly and undatable while men hit their "sexual prime" at age 50. It's not evolution. It's not biology. It's just our patriarchal society that keeps women in their place. (And I totally agree with you about not wanting to slow down my life to be a nursemaid to a man who hasn't taken care of himself.)

  11. The assertion that every trans woman is actually a man looking to scare/assault women and children is equally as ridiculous. And as much as the conservative media, Christians and others claim they aren't saying that, their hysteria whenever a transwoman is noticed in female spaces tells us what they think.

  12. Canadians like me who had nothing whatsoever to do with this mess have already contributed $3.3B to families and "survivors". No more public money is necessary. I went to school too. I was smacked with a ruler. I was cuffed in the head. I was strapped. I was kicked in the shin. I'm talking public school in the 1960's and 70's with nothing but caucasian kids in the class. Am a I "survivor" as well?

  16. We have the right to associate and to venture freely in the public. We have the right to not be under house arrest for indefinite periods of time. Or any time, for that matter. The way things are now, they can extend the stay at home order without limits. Months, years, there is no law preventing them from implementing it. They can implement the stay at home orders for as long as they want, and do it again and again. And again, and again... and again.
