Victoria, BC: Victoria city council has voted unanimously to cancel 'Canada Day'. They are spineless.

With the help of the CBC and rest of the media, whose complicity has been bought and paid for with billions of our tax dollars everyone seems to have forgotten the the Little Tur....er....TRUdeau and his "cabinet" first strategized to use Chinese vaccine. Fortunately, their ineptitude in managing the Huawei affair resulted in China cutting us off from this route. It's just pure bigotry to assume that religion or being conservative has anything to do with this. People protect their children, period. All mammals protect their offspring. FYI I don't have any imaginary friends and if a dude whipped out his junk in front of my girls when they were younger it wouldn't matter to me whether he considers himself to be a woman or trans or whatever... When you whip out a dick, you're a dude with his dick out by definition. A mother shouldn't have to worry that their child is going to have to look at a man's penis when she goes into a woman's changeroom. What's the point of even having a women's changeroom if non-women can go into them? Why not just have one changeroom for everyone? If I feel like I have a good enough reason to whip my junk out in front of your daughter is that sufficient? Should I just be allowed to do it? Should you have to just be ok with it? Does the opinion of 50 million mothers and 50 million fathers mean nothing? Can't people have a changeroom where people don't expose their male genitalia to little girls, or vice versa? Does that somehow not make sense to you?

The idea is to deflect any blame away from the government of Canada. Let the churches burn, let the people focus their hate on religious institutions. It furthers this governments anti-Canadian agenda.

But it is not just religious conservatives who object to the circumstances of this incident. Women (and girls) of many different religious/political stripes should not be forced to feel "safe" around transgender people under such circumstances. This story has been played out many times in California...I specifically recall lawsuits against women's only gyms that exclude males. Some states have passed legislation protecting same sex/gender businesses and public accommodation that has been challenged in the courts. If you have ever been a parent with small children changing in pool locker rooms for swim lessons then the issue becomes more than just a debate on web forums.

The city council in Victoria is a spineless communist council. They took down the statue of our first Prime Minister of Canada Sir John A. MacDonald because they said that it was an insult to native Indians. Pretty much all of our city councils across Canada are full of socialists and communists. Everything about this country smacks of communism today. Even our own PM Castro Trudeau said that he admired communist China. What more does anyone need to see before they finally wake up and realize that Canada is fast becoming a communist country. Bills C-10 and C-36 are attacks on freedom of speech. Hello out there? ?

Canadians like me who had nothing whatsoever to do with this mess have already contributed $3.3B to families and "survivors". No more public money is necessary. I went to school too. I was smacked with a ruler. I was cuffed in the head. I was strapped. I was kicked in the shin. I'm talking public school in the 1960's and 70's with nothing but caucasian kids in the class. Am a I "survivor" as well?

It is a much more complicated thing that that. Beijing has its finger on the pulse of EVERY major business in one way or another. While there may not be a written directive, anyone running a hybrid (official government interest), state owned or "private" large company knows the drill and realizes you follow the unwritten but clearly understood path or let's just say business won't go so well for you. There are genuine high quality products in China. Some because of Western QA/QC, some from domestic efforts. But quality is not as important to China as money. It is a culture that worships results without getting hung up on process. These days: it all centers around "One Road, One Belt" and assembling all of the lands that China considers to be (or should be) China proper.

Get a grip MH. There's no "delusion" at all. Biden had a handful of rallies, most of which were small for a High School President election. That's a fact, not delusion. How is it possible that no one wanted to come see his rallies yet he got 15M more votes than Obama? Are you stupid enough to believe that mail-in ballots without signature verification of any sort is a secure way to hold a federal election? Are you aware of the history of election mail fraud? It's almost normal. Do you really believe that using ID for voting is racist? Why is it that the Dems, who got caught cheating 3x on the 2020 election (even if you don't count the use of the FBI as a political tool), have so many election reforms that all seem so voter-fraud-friendly and yet you are completely without suspicion? It's normal to be suspicious of people who are known cheaters. Why are they so adamant that groups, who are openly supporting one candidate or the other, should be allowed to approach voters in polling lineups to "give them water"? Don't you think that could be intimidating for some people? Do you want the Bloods, Crips, Hell's Angels or MS-13 coming up to you at the polling station and offering you water? The Dems are huge cheaters and all of their election ideas are so dumb it's laughable. Honestly, if Trump was the one who said that voter ID should be illegal and mass-mailed ballots are a great idea you'd see through it in an instant.

Those burning churches are only exercising their legal right to commit whatever level of violence and vandalism they choose as long as it's done in the name of native rights or native protesting or whatever. The soft liberal bigotry of low expectations says we can't hold non-whites to the same standard of behaviour we do white people. I guess they're just not capable of self control or civilized behaviour.

Were it not for Quebec supporting the Liberals and Quebec PMs Canada would look very different. It was Pierre Trudeau who liberalized Immigration and did away with so many traditional symbols and institutions, Brian Mulroney who tripled immigration numbers, and now Justin Trudeau who has increased them again while saying Canada wasn't even a nation. It is Liberals who disdain nationalism. If Quebec wasn't here Canada would have had a lot more Conservative governments, ones who cared about the traditions, values and culture. Small c conservatives are big believers in such things, and according to polls the great majority want lower immigration, and support protecting our culture and values.
